Recently I've experienced about a cup size increase for unknown reasons, and have found myself needing to replace my molded cup bras for winter with a size up. I've gone from a shallow on top 30D to a more rounded 30DD, so I am mostly looking for more depth in the cups without dramatically increasing cup width or wire length.

I tried many different molded 30DD bras, and found the On Gossamer Sleek Micro T-Shirt bra to be the best fitting option. In my experience, On Gossamer's 30 bands are very TTS, and I really like that the sleek microfiber wings have a high percentage of stretch ... (18% Spandex), which gives the band a nice secure feeling. The wires are a gently curved C shape that is longer on the outside and shorter at the gore. I found them to be the perfect width and didn't press into my bony ribcage painfully, which smaller bands tend to do on me, especially in partial band styles. The cups have a nice amount of projection and aren't too shallow like the BP Undercover and Skarlett Blue bras I've tried. This basically fits like a half cup size larger than my current best fitting bra, the Le Mystere Tisha Evolution in 30D (which fits a half cup size bigger). This is a good style for someone with a rounder shape and needs a bit more projection.

Styling-wise, this bra has a bit more of a plunge shape than a balconette style. The gore is fairly short and features a nice crossover detail. The straps are convertible, and as a result are fully adjustable. This is always an issue for me as I am very petite and in this type of style, the J hook always ends up at the top of my shoulders or even more forward. Luckily, I like the bra enough to shorten the straps on my own. The fabric has a nice cool feel and the upper edge of the cups is bonded for a clean finish. It reminds me of a VS Very Sexy bra I had back in the day, but with nice flexible soft cups rather than heavy padding.

I snagged my first one from Nordstrom and ended up ordering the rest of the colors directly from On Gossamer. Sadly they do not offer all styles in a 30 band, and I would recommend staying away from the nasty 100% nylon styles that will surely stretch out quickly, but overall this brand offers comfortable silhouettes that run true to size and fit well. Highly recommended!
