I really wish that I had liked this bra, since it gave me an amazing shape. However, despite what the name would suggest, this is a padded push up bra, and I despise padded bras with a deep passion. There's definitely a full inch of padding at the bottom of the cup, so this is a no go for me.

I ordered three of these from Nordstrom Rack as they were a good price. I am pleased that all 3 of them measure and fit quite consistently. I've found consistency to be a pretty good point in On Gossamer bras from other styles as well.

This ... style gives a really nice plunge push up shape, as the name suggests. I really like the little V at the center gore, it adds something that your average molded cup bra doesn't have. It's also a full band construction, which I prefer. The band measures nice and snug and fits comfortably.

However, other than the padding not being for me (or clearly stated in the name), there are two issues with the bra that I want to point out. The main concern is that the bra is made from 100% nylon mesh, so there is no spandex/elastane in the fiber. That means all of the stretch is mechanical stretch from mesh supported by the elastic. Given that nylon is not super sturdy and there's nothing to give the fibers recovery, I would suspect that the longevity of these bras is not good.

The second issue is that this bra isn't designed for support. The elastic used in the band is rather thin, as are the straps, so the elastic will also most likely wear out quickly. I could already tell that the brand new bra didn't give much support other than the thick foam cups holding me up. Over time, this will certainly degrade more than other bras. The styling is beautiful and delicate, with lace trim and an interesting paneled design on the wings. The straps give a doubled satin effect based on the novelty elastic used. However, like many bras on the market, this bra is designed to look pretty for a short period of time, rather than be supportive and hold up over time. It's cheap and cheerful and gives a nice shape, but that's about it.
