    Didn't fit

Me: Narrow roots, narrow shoulders, evenly round, lots of immediate projection, slightly FoB, slightly centre full, splayed, never met a gore I didn't like, left-heavey by more than a cup size, 31" underbust, but prefer tight band with extender. Panache, Freya size 30GG

Not quite enough immediate projection and gaping at top edge with slight in-cup quading. I can alter the top edge with a dart that should take care of it, but I think this is the right size. I think this model would take more centre fullness rather than just taller roots or more FoT

No side boning and thin straps with nothing to ... keep them from slipping and only two hooks.

No-stretch mesh cups with soft lining on the bottom. Wires are very U-shaped. Narrow-ish, but still a little wide for my ideal.

    Very nice orange colour.

    Edit: Alteration:

I put a dart in the edge of the cup horizontally from the top of the centre gore in to the edge of the ribbon cup edge - about five cm. This has pulled the gaping top edge of the ribbon closed and lowed the cup height at the centre gore openning up some centre fullness at the gore. It also pulls the straps inwards a touch. The cups still have not enough immediate projection and I get in-cup quading when I roll my shoulders back - but it is definitely better.

Beautiful and sexy; this @MissMandalay London bra gives a forward, projected shape.

The band felt quite firm at first but a few weeks in is more forgiving. Normally I'm a 32 band, so I was surprised to find the 30 band fit better - but then, I normally take a 32F, and this is a 30G.

One downside, the lace is already stretching more than I'd like it to be, thought for the price it might hold a bit more firmly.

I'm crazy about the design and look of this bra/set. Unfortunately I did notice some fit issues:
The band is very tight, which I actually did expect (and made sure to have an extender handy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />).
By the photos, the cups seem to both cut in, and wrinkle just a smidge.
It appears to cut in on my fuller on top side, which is also my bigger boob (left). On the right, I'm pretty flat out even/FoB, and it wrinkles slightly in the bottom somehow. Both cups wrinkle in the corners, but I never found that to be a problem/really even very noticeable.
    That's about it ... though. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I tried it on, and realized that I didn't really like the shape it gave me. It's very natural, and my natural boobs are not something I've ever admired. It did give a slightly more teardrop, rounded out look, but also retained a lot of my natural shape. Regardless, teardrop is do-able.

I have tall roots/or prominent pecs, and I'm tuberous, so my shape is like a saggy downward slope. I'm not literally sagging, as my tissue stands out, but the shape of my boobs and lack of anything but tissue behind my nipples in particular makes them appear so regardless. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

My main problem remains my downward sloping high roots, which are visible under a shirt. Initially, scooping/swooping makes it less visible, but it settled and became noticeable in a few minutes..so, I hadn't checked whether it was visible in photos.

I wore it yesterday underneath 2 shirts (one had a built in "bra"), and that was the only thing that made my roots less visible. I'd imagine I'd do ok in a sweater, and I like the look of the bra on me without a top.

I modeled it for my bf, who ended up adoring it. For some reason, his favorites are usually the ones I'm a little unsure about. Maybe he senses my uncertainty xD
Though this bra IS extremely beautiful and again without a top, I do think it looks pretty nice.

I love it, and I'd hate to get rid of it actually, but I'm not sure how often I can wear it because I'm just so self conscious about my chest as a whole.

The band is also about TTS 28, which I mentioned I had known and prepared to wear an extender.
I think it'd actually work really well for someone in between 26 and 28, or a 28 who likes tight bands. The 30 would probably be ideal but I don't have any problems with extenders.

Even with the extender however, I find that the wires are a little bendy, and stretch to about 6-7"(even with the band extended so that it's fairly slack), which I think, contributes to a slightly shallow look I'm getting also. It's not like..hmm..VS or Tutti Rouge padded shallow look, and I get a little bit of cleavage from the shape, but it does push them down and out just a little.

Also, with the extender, the straps are just a tiny bit too wide, mostly on the left, and it's falling off my shoulder a bit.

It's a shame, because I'm so crazy about this set, but I'm not feeling the fit on me right now. But it's so pretty o_o Maybe it will grow on me.

It's hard to see in pictures because the tissue settles a few minutes after s/s.
    Maybe I'm just nitpicking.
My bf was crazy about it, but I don't feel very confident in it due to my natural shape. I love this bra but
man, I reeeeeally hate my natural toobs.lol

So yeah, I think this bra has a fair amount of projection, which is nice, but for me, the bendy-ish wires extend about an inch, maybe an inch and a half, from my boobs somehow. That causes a shallower look. It's not my favorite look, but I don't mind it.
As mentioned, main problem are roots, not the bra.

Things I really like about the bra:

Beautiful fabric and design. The lace detailing has these adorable little flowers.
My mom took a trip to Mexico a very long time ago and brought home a dress and a top with similar looking edging. I always thought it was a very pretty design.

The lace in itself seems to be really nice quality.
Love the bows, and jlcl119 was awesome enough to put some back on the straps (I honestly can't sew even a stitch to save my life....yet).
I'm such a sucker for bows and lace, I swear.

The cup material is a mesh. Very nice, comfy feeling. I love the cup design, and it works well to give me a more pleasant teardrop shape.

The cups are very close;wires touch. Perfect.

The material seems a lot nicer for a humid/suffocating PA summer day. Most of what I've been wearing isn't very breathable in the deathly humidity.
I wore my padded Ewa to the city the other day and immediately knew I'd made a big mistake.lol
I had kept my Freya Rio for this purpose, but the wires felt too rough to me.

The band is nice and firm. It seems very supportive imo.

And that detailing. Did I mention? It's super pretty. Love the frilly thong too. It's really girly, which, I love in lingerie. Sexy or girly, always.
I hate my body type, limbs, and skin texture(my life consisted of gaining weight+losing weight rapidly), so I never let myself wear a nice girly dress or something along those lines, like I've always wanted to.
I try to get that out with my lingerie when I can haha.

Straps adjust long/short enough for me. The straps seem easy to adjust, unlike my Deco Vibe which breaks my nails every time I try adjusting.
I'm lower set, but I actually found that I needed to adjust the straps pretty short, especially after the extender.

So yeah, verdict is: Adore the bra, hate my boobs + roots. And I really need to tone my arms.
I'm having a low self esteem week/month so ignore me. xD

I'd recommend this to someone with close set boobs, needing some decent projection, and narrow to average/verging on wide wires.
Since they're bendy, get your normal band size for slightly wider wires, and a band up for narrower.
As I said, even using an extender to add inches and cause a slack band, somehow the wires still extended 1-1.5" away from my IMF. I do have an unusual IMF, but in my bras with 5" wires, they usually come closest. This one seems to measure about 4.7-4.9" actually, but I just feel they're pretty bendy.

I did some inspection, and upon stretching the band, there was a 2" difference in cup width where unstretched, the width is about 4.9". So roughly +2". Band stretches to 27.5/28", so on my current underbust of 29.5 (hello post sharkweek weight gain), I'm sure..that'd account for the 6-7" cup stretch. Obviously this should never ever be worn on my body without the extender to preserve the wires.

Recently had a similar thing happen with my Fantasie Rimini; it had 5" wires but looked waaaay too wide when I put it on somehow. That one looked absolutely terrible on me though and I hated it on myself since I got it.

I've cut out wires and bent them to my shape before, and got 5.3", so these issues I think are simply from wearing tighter bands /fluctuations throughout the day, and/or bendier wires.

Not a big deal, I'm most, most, most uneasy/self conscious about my roots/ribs/pecs "showing" and poking out above my boobs. Just imagine a typical slope, then at the boob it almost starts going straight down and becomes like upside down "7". The bra at least does a great job helping reshape somewhat. Just can't stand those roots.
    Stupid toobies. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

I want to quick mention cup depth also:
I measured in the center, which was actually somewhat difficult because the wires, unstretched, are very narrow, and the cups are pretty projected.
I got roughly 9" in the center, and about 9.5" on top.
Strangely, my other bras with 9.5" on top, had pretty noticeable gaps, but this one doesn't at all.
I'm mostly even and soft and the cup depth seems fine.

Anyway, I wore this most of the day yesterday. I went to my therapist appointment and after doing a double session(2hr), my back hurt. I think that had a lot to do with having used the extender to make the band slack. So idk. I think I'll give it one more try and see how I feel. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I wore it an hour or two after my appointment, and decided to switch into a Comexim after returning from the post office.
So, idk. I love it, but not sure it's for me unfortunately :, (

Overall, the bra itself is gorgeous. I'd be interested in trying another Miss Mandalay for sure. I think if I keep this I just need to do some layering with my clothes, or sweaters, to conceal my roots. Good thing August and September are right around the corner. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I think you're used to Polish boobs. This looks good, it is a more natural shape but your shape isn't bad!
      Aren't the underwear too cute?!

      jlcl119 Thank you :)
      I agree !
I even just considered keeping an obviously too big Comexim that came in the mail.lol
Tried some Ewa pads, almost convinced me, aaand then I realized that I definitely have a problem.
      xD

The underwear are adorable! Love them :)

It looks great, it fits great, it's a super cute and flirty bra.
It's pretty comfortable except for the gore. I have a little divot in my sternum. Nothing extreme, but it's there. This bra happens to fall into that divot and dig up into the bony lip. It's kind of painful for me and I find myself taking it off shortly after putting it on. I don't know why it does this. I have other bras with gores the same height and it doesn't happen, but both this and the Paris I have just hurt me.
Anyway, I have an olive based skin tone and am currently pretty tan (usually I'm pretty pale). Surprisingly, this bra functions as a decent nude as long as the top isn't too sheer.
The matching ruffle thong is a piece of cheesecake girlishness. It's really a cute set.

    • Jj Do you know why my blog's profile picture is on the review's picture here? The likn is for the review. There also was no way to change picture on the "add blog review" section (I believe there used to be?)

    • Where did you get this colourway? I've only ever seen them in the darker colours and in beige recently.

    • velociraptor there were a couple of new 30ffs on ebay a while ago, from a boutique there and the price was like 20£. I really hesitated because of the colour, which I didn't like in the pictures, but I thought "I'll just try the model and send it back, I can order another colour later on". Of course I ended up keeping it because it looked a lot cooper irl...

    Didn't fit

I bought this in the violet/aqua colourway, and it is ever so pretty. It looks very opulent and well-made. The detailing is just enough without being over the top. I love the lacy straps in particular.

This is a must-try bra for anyone with sub-28 band needs. It is the only 28-band bra I own that I can wear on the loosest hooks. Amazing! According to the Bravissimo website, it would seem the small band size is a common issue for women who have tried this bra, so if you are a true 28-band girl that I think sizing up to a 30 would be a good ... idea. This fits me like a 26HH rather than a 28H.

The band is not only small, but very firm. There is very little stretch in it at all! This means it should last a fairly long time, another bonus.

The shape is natural but a little rounded. There are some fit issues though. I have a small amount of wrinkling where the strap meets the cup, and there is not quite enough depth in the bottom of the cup. I think this is definitely a better bra for those with a full-on-top breast shape. I did try the 28GG given the slight wrinkling, but had double boob and even less space in the bottom of the cup, resulting in more fit issues (and an ugly shape) compared to the 28H.

    This one surprised me.

I bought it because I loved it in pictures, but when it arrived I was disappointed by the look and feel. First off, it arrived in one of those cheap crinkly cellophane packets (the manufacturer's packaging, not the retailer's), which I didn't expect from a bra that usually costs a lot (I got it on sale). The colour didn't quite match the promotional photos- it's more purplish than fuchsia, not good news for someone like me who loves pink but doesn't get along with purple. The patterned material appeared to have a sheen in pictures, but was actually matte, and it seemed flimsy. The stitches ... attaching the straps to the cups were messy. And the big bow and rose on the center gore seemed less "bold design choice" than "we have all these bows and roses in stock, whatever shall we do with them?"

    Then I put it on.

It's not a textbook fit- it's the only bra I've bought that doesn't lie flat against my center gore, and I spill out of the top ever so slightly after a few hours and need to readjust- but it is soooo comfortable. The padding is light as can be, and very smooth. The shape is lovely and rounded- quite unexpected from the way it looks off. It lifts and supports nicely. It goes well under fairly light clothing- there's one vertical seam, but it doesn't show much. The first time I wore it, I didn't want to take it off when I got home from work after a long day. I ended up putting it back on to wear around the house after my shower. It's stayed comfortable through many more long days.

The band is OK- I could probably have gone for a 30 if they made a 30GG. The cups run small- I only have one other 32G, the Parfait Charlotte which is known to run small, and these cups are a smidge smaller.

Quite unexpectedly, this has become one of my most often worn bras.

Red "Paris Moulin" version with sheer cheetah print bows.

Beautiful sheer design, brilliant color. Underwires are a good height under arm, center gore is quite comfy at about 7.75cm high. The band is VERY snug and although it fits and I can inhale deeply it is just too tight for wear. Although a tight band will help extend the life as it stretches and I could have used a bra extender I am considering ordering a 32G (sister-sizing: as if it were a looser 30 band and GG cup for more coverage). Straps are fully adjustable and very comfy although may be a bit wide set for some.

My ... only concern is whether the balcony styling is suitable for my build or would I be better off with a half-cup/demi type instead? Will post to fit requests for assistance after uploading photos.

    30G:
    * band very tight but could use an extender for first few months while it stretches
    * balcony style/cup size appears to 'cut in' to shape, less nice overall shape under a shirt

    32G (http://bra.pe/R7q/):
    * band too big: firm yet wearable on final hook
    * balcony style/cup appears with proper coverage under shirt

    Purchased & Returned early-April '12 from Asos.

    • Hi, are the measurements taken after the alterations you made to the bra?

    • No, the measurements were taken before the alternations. Now cup separation is 1,5 cm and cup width is 15 cm :)

    • It may be helpful for others to post the altered measurements here in the comments. :)

I bought this bra off of someone for one cup size larger and it fits beautifully. I’m a 26ff/g close set slightly fob with slightly narrow roots. This bra fits perfectly even if the gore doesn’t touch. It does wrinkle a little at the bottom but it’s from projection.

Depth ratio 2.2 (probably deeper than this)
    Wire length 11.0
    Cup height 7.3
    Cup separation 0.7
    Gore height 2.8
    Wing height 4.2
    Strap width 0.6
    Strap length 12.5
    Hooks 2

Miniscule gore, ultra extra super narrow U wires that don't impinge on inner breast tissue, sleek & airy micronet inner cup lining, amazingly forgiving lace in upper cup, baby soft silky stretch side sling, depth and fit comparable with Fantasie Elodie which fits my volume & shape well. Upper stretch lace band of cup stretches from 6" to 9" without pushing or rising down on upper ... breast (am extra short and full so this area gets as much clinging and crawling as just under my most projected area below outer breasts)

It's not clear, but feels like the strong U shape may be springing out to a V which is allowing the width to accommodate my 6" root base?
Bah, only 2 hooks & band a bit narrow despite being snug and supportive.
A caveat- while the band is a nice tension it's a bit large and rides up between shoulder blades without shortening the straps- bands that run very tight on others, seem to be my conical ribscage's ideal fit.

30FF is several cups down and a band size up from what I need, but feels quite wearable as tissue displacement upward is well accommodated in cup by the lovely stretch lace. My outer breast & wire arm there have some struggles as the depth is not enough to contain all volume, but the build does it's best to accommodate so will swap a wire and see what happens them *comfort rating dependent on how a wire swap affects this trouble zone for me*

All fit flaws are well concealed by the sling, bottom of cups aren't collapsing for lace of space in the bra although cups height & projection there aren't what I need. Amelie gives a very nice forward projection without being a pita about it (stares at side support features in other brands harshly).

Ultimately this appears to be a style that should be able to accept problematic or hard to fit shapes. Really wish it were on some lists for those with high depth esp in the lower cup region.

I saw this bra on mega mega sale a while back from somewhere I wouldn't be able to return it to, and after reading heaps of reviews I was pretty comfortable taking the punt. Overall I'm glad I did.

The Good: The band runs really small - I need a small 28 band, and this 30 fits snugly on the middle hooks. This is a plus for me! The wires are really narrow too, and there's good projection at the wire. I think the cups run a bit big, as it's a perfect fit for my larger side (more of a 28F) whereas the top of the cup wrinkles ... a bit on my small side (more of a 28DD/E.) I love the bright pink colour, weirdly enough. The quality is superb and the support is great.

The Bad: The gore is pretty high, and a little too wide for me. I find it rides up onto my bigger boob and also digs into my sternum. I wouldn't want to be any fuller on top than I am (even fullness all over, trending towards FoT,) as the ribbon at the cup edge isn't elasticated and definitely digs in a little. The wires are a bit hard for me, but for a bigger cup size I'm sure they'd be a bonus.

The Ugly: I don't wear this bra as often as I should because I'm not a super fan of unlined styles. I'm too lazy to bother with silicone nipple covers. This is just personal weirdness, and not a reflection on the bra.

short roots, very center full, functionally full on bottom. Gores are always a problem for me since I have touching breasts. almost all gores are too wide and too tall.
This bra is good on immediate projection and pretty good on center projection, although I suspect I need slightly more since wires sit slightly on breast tissue.
Straps are a little wide and cups come up too high and rub under arms. This is a problem with several of the Miss Mandalay bras I've tried.
Bra didn't give a very nice shape in a t-shirt.
    I wear a 28GG in a chloe , but I needed the 30 band in this.

See my review for 30G. Band way too tight on this one.

This bra would be best suited to even shapes with average width. However I slightly modified the cups by taking in the top portion so now it fits me fairly well. It's slightly too wide on my smaller side, since I'm quite narrow. However this bra has great immediate projection, which works well for my FOB shape.

Overall I'd recommend this bra to anyone who needs some projection. It's pretty, comfortable, and works well for FOB to even (if you don't mind a bit of alterations)

Paige and Paris are the same cut, and I found them equally disappointing. I was excited for them because they have the narrowest wires of any bra I've ever seen in my size, at 5 inches they're a quarter inch narrower than even my Polish bras. However the wires are also quite tall, making a deep U shape. The cup itself is also very tall. The cup doesn't give much support and has an extremely natural shape, much more so than Freya or almost anything else I've tried. This isn't my taste--to me my boobs look practically the same in this bra than they do braless, so I might as well just not wear a bra at all. I appreciate the sentiment of the narrow wires but I'll be returning these and wouldn't try Miss Mandalay again unless they improve the shape and support of their cups.
