    Didn't fit

This bra is better for wider set breasts or a shallower shape. It's adequately projected, but not at the centre cup (where I need it most). I used to really like this bra (when first I got it years ago) but it was better made then, and I was a smaller size. I don't think it's well-scaled to a G cup. Also, the bands used to be really tight - and I heard that they still were - so I ordered a 34 back size. Should have gone with my regular 32.

    Didn't fit

When I first got the 30E Miss Mandalay Paris in Scarlet with leopard print accents, at the beginning of my bra journey, the wires seemed too narrow, coverage under the arms inadequate, and the cups too deep. Now, more than three years later, the wire width is good and the cup depth fine, but the coverage under the arms is still inadequate. The worst part of this bra's fit for me is the gore, which is about 2.5" high. The biggest fit issue I have, now that my roots are narrower and my projection greater after breast migration, is painfully high center gores. The best gore height for ... me is 1.5" but 1.75" works too, in my 65F Ewa Michalak 3Ds.

The cups on this Scarlet Miss Mandalay Paris are deep. Consider my best fit in Cleo Marcie and Freya half cup bras is 30FF. The dozen or so Ewa Michalak 3D bras I have are 65F. If the side coverage were higher in Cleo Marcie, I could wear it in 30F. I speak of the original red color, the Bravissimo exclusive purple color, and the bright turquoise color of seasons past.

I realize there are people who need narrow, deep cups and low coverage under the arms. It still saddens me, though, to find Miss Mandalay Paris will apparently never be a good fit on me. It is pathetic I still have this new with tags bra and the new with tags matching panties. This is the bra enthusiast's version of unrequited love. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

  3. This band is very tight, but does have enough stretch to it that I'm not quite suffocating. I know that the band will stretch more with time; as of yet I've only had the bra for two months. It's already a lot less terrible than it was initially. I heartily suggest a Miss Mandalay 30 for the 28-back crowd. (It fits me with an extender.)

The cups fit my smaller breast perfectly, but there's a bit of cutting in on my larger one. This bra is really made for someone with no upper fullness at all. This bra displays it oddly, though: The inflexible ribbon at the top of ... the cup flares away from my breast instead of feebly attempting to conform to it as does on the breast it actually fits. I really feel like it's a strange design flaw, almost. I barely notice it at this point. I've had luck counteracting the ill aesthetic effects of the ribbon by playing around with strap tightness.

A very welcome difference in the fit of this bra compared to 32-band Miss Mandalays is that the wires fit me perfectly. There was no need for any bending where the wires met my underbust, or under my armpits. Short people, take note.

The shape this bra gives is comparable to a Miss Mandalay Paige: a rounded and natural shape.

I also had the same issue that Undiegamer had with her black Paris (http://undiegamer.com/2012/11/03/miss-mandalay-paris/). The top ribbon on the right cup began to fray away from the right side of the cup. As I bought this bra secondhand, I couldn't contact a manufacturer or anything, so I just stitched it up myself. Given the design flaws of this bra, I wouldn't recommend getting it full price in this color.

    • Yep, I get the same cutting in with the Claudette Dessous. That's too bad really, I like the style and construction a lot.

    • I guess it works for some people though, since there are quite a few of these around. It's such a sham it didn't work for me though, because it's super comfy!

This bra is close to a good fit. As I feared, the ribbon at the top of the cup cuts in a little, but it isn’t that bad and really depends on the way I stand or move, so I’m keeping it anyway.
The colour is gorgeous and I like that it’s sheer and unpadded, since I don’t own any unpadded bras at the moment.
The band does feel snug, but I cannot agree that it is way too tight. I feel very comfortable in it. The straps are a bit too wide apart for my taste, but it isn’t a problem.

I also rather like the shape it gives me, although it's not as round as in my padded bras. I'd describe it as natural but lifted, so I like it. I was afraid it might look very pointy, but it doesn't.

Since I haven't had it that long, I don't know if it'll stretch out.

I tried this on once and didn't end up keeping it so unfortunately there are no measurements or pictures for this bra. Ultimately the bra did not fit because the band was way too small - I could hardly fasten it! Cup size was perfect. One of the reasons I bought this was because I had heard that Miss Mandalays bands run small. In most brands the 28-bands are a bit too big for me so I thought this would be perfect - oh well! Very good bra for someone who needs a really tight 28 or even a 26 band. The too small band was the reason ... I put only "Okay" for the bra's comfort.

The bra is really pretty, the mesh is soft and the construction seems sturdy as hell. May not be suitable for full on top breasts because the band on top of the cup does not stretch. The shape it gave my breats was lifted and a bit pointy from the tip. It kind of minimized though the look of my boobs and I'm not really sure if I'm a fan of that personally. This is why I ended up not changing for a bigger band size.

Very comfortable. I bought it "used" and then was a little bit too big (wire poked), but now I could wear it all the time. Appereance is more like "evening going out" but this is also best daily bra ever!

  8. While this bra seems stiff at first, it does soften quickly and the fit and look are excellent. The bra is both sexy and supportive (especially in the cerise colourway). It fits pretty true to size. The shape is neither pointy nor round and it's quite good under lots of shirts, even though there are seams. The non-stretch ribbon at the top of the cups does present a challenge for full on top breasts because it has no give.

Beautiful bra, but the fit is off. A 32H or a 30HH would fit much better.

Doesn't fit well at all! Such a pity too, it's very cute. The cups are too narrow for me, so the wires dig in on the sides, the ribbon at the top of the cup cuts into my breast, and my breasts trying to "escape" into the middle create a really unflattering wrinkling in the cup.

I have the same fit problems with Freya bras, so if you like Freya this might be a great choice for you!

The bra has a fairly firm band, my measurement is 28.5" and it fits snug and comfortably. It seems well-made too, no snags or loose threads.
