This is a really gorgeous bra that I got from Wendybien.
Lots of really nice detail even on the back of the band where it hooks.

I am narrow, short rooted with touching breasts and have a lot of center projection.
The gore is a little too wide and tall for me. The wires sit on both breasts. However they are softer and more padded than the cleo wires and so don't bother me as much. There seems to be enough immediate projection, but perhaps not enough center projection. (I'm not quite sure on that). The 2 Empreinte bras I've tried seem to be ... better on center projection, at least the gores on them come closer to tacking even when they are as tall as this gore.
The 8" high cup is a little too tall. I barely fill the upper half of the cup.
The straps do not fully adjust. Right now they are shortened all the way. I'm only 5'1" and short waisted . The portion of the strap that is not adjustable is very firm and that is nice. Makes the bra feel
very secure. I don't know if in time I might have to shorten the adjustable portion .
I think the band is small for a 30. It fits like a 30 Cleo, but smaller than a Freya 30 band.
The shape this bra gives is slightly more pointed than the round shape of a Cleo and also a little understated.
Lift isn't quite as good. Maybe the cup is a little big on me??

    • Beautiful color!! Sigh --regarding fit.

      yes, sigh on fit.

Oh, I'm sorry it is not 100%! What is the profile shape like ?Lack of lift issue might be because it's not tacking all the way, it always affects lift on me. I did find my other Lejabys relaxed slightly at the cup edge seam over time which may allow a better tack after some wear.

I love my lejabys. I want more. Before everything that fit me almost was a cleo. But the lejabys have a lot more variation of shape than the Cleo so when I'm buying I still feel like I'm not sure what I'm going to get. Of the 6 I have, I wear two a lot( a white one with geometric embroidery and a good one). One (white polka dot) I want to take some depth out of the apex and then I think I'll wear it a lot. One lands on my tail of spence (cornflower blue one) and I don't find it comfortable because of that and one cuts in a little at the arm in front (a light blue one) so I don't wear it much either even though I love the shape it gives me. And last I have a pink one that I like and it fits well but it shows up under more shirts than I'd like. The shape without a shirt it a little pointier than I'm used to but under a shirt I think it looks really flattering. I've got to learn their names lol. And in my experience the lejabys also run larger or true to Cleo size for the same cup / band but I haven't figured out which cuts do what yet. I think there are only a few of us on here that wear them so there isn't near as much information as there is on many other brands. I feel like the underwires and the bands are more forgiving than cleos when I'm wearing the bra for many hours

    • *gold one, not good. darn autocorrect

    • revisa. Yes, those Cleo wires are brutal and I'd love to find replacements for those bras.
I seem to be able to really size down in the lebajy and Empreinte bras. I wear 28GG or 30G in Cleos and in these French I'm wondering if even a 80F might be a little big . I think that probably has to do with better immediate and center Projection and narrower wires.

    • wendybien . Side view is not too bad, although it could also be a little more perky. I think perhaps the lack of front lift could be because the cup is really too tall. If I pull up by quite a bit where the strap meets the cup then I get better lift. I want to do that with a lot of bras. Is it my very short roots? I have very dense(heavy) boobs, so I need industrial strength:):)

    • Primula ive sizes down in a couple of the lejabys too. I know i can use a bar with a little less overall depth if it has good immediate projection and narrower wires. I prefer wires as close to 5" as possible. 4.9" is great too. I think some of the lejabys have a lot of projection at the apex, more than I need for sure. My roots look very short and I'm low set but if they are pushed close to my body the roots actually go very high so I do well with shorter more open cups at the top or I end up with bubbling even when the bra fits. I do like Cleo but I totally agree that I wish they had wires that were a little more forgiving! And some plain colors please. When the Hettie comes down in price I want to try it and the burgundy Marcie lol

    • revisa, Yes, while the colorful bras are fun, I still need a plain nude color to wear under my white or really light tops:) and they are so hard to find.

I love this bra. It reminds me a bit of the SM Ewa that I tried as far as the shape it gives me but it fits me better. The cups are narrower and I get better lift. The embroidery lays flat under my t-shirt. I love the detailing... I'll probably take off the rosette on the gore but just because I don't usually love stuff tacked on the gore... But pretty much every bra comes that way. I do love the additions to the band. And the scallops where the cups attach to the band and at the top of the cup. ... I like how there is a ribbon added underneath them for stability but not elastic to close off the top of the cup. It does fit large imo for a 30E but I compare all other bras to Cleo unlined bras because they been the most consistent in sizing for me and I've tried a dozen of them probably. I have a little issue with the strap cutting in at the armpit if I'm moving around a lot

Yeap, this one is pretty much perfect on you!

      So lovely!!

    • 2

erispe I hope you get as lucky too!

    • Quick question - you said this fits like a large E. Do you suppose the DD sizing would fit like an almost E? It seems this runs deep in the cups.

    • I think the DD would most likely fit like an E. When I compare the measurements of this one with my other Fs it's deeper than my Claduette 30F and slightly narrower. To me this E is an F but if someone was more familiar with the brand they might not feel that way.

    • Ohhhhh I am so tempted to get it in DD because of that great eBay price... Do you think it is closer in fit to the Claudette Dessous models (shallow and tall cups) or Cleo Lily models (even, deep, relatively short?? average? cups) ?

    • It's not shallow at all and doesn't seem as tall. I have a 32E Kali, a 30F Kali, a 30F paramour Claduette and a 30F parrot Lily. I could try to take pictures of them sitting on top of each other. It's more comfortable than dessous for sure and those vary so much depending on the color on the fit.

    • What a really nice bra. Looks to fit you perfectly. I love the flowers on the back, it is a nice little touch and that it doesn't show under your top. Congratulations on finding a great fitting bra.

I'm basically just an fool in love when it comes to Lejaby. I KNOW the cups (apart from a few select models) run huge in the Elixir full bust collection and the band runs supertight. Yet I still bought this. Predictably it is too snug in the band and too big in the cup. Sigh. It's beautiful though!

I loved the colour and design of this gorgeous bra so much that I ordered it in a size larger hoping it might fit. Well, it didn't. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Melusine fits pretty deep, larger than expected for its cup size, but wires narrow. I'd say it fits almost like a large UK 30F or even a 30FF. Band excellent quality elastic and TTS. The design reminds me of Fauve Chloe balcony, but with softer wires. I just love love love this bra and will have it in a smaller size, so help me God!

An absolutely gorgeous bra from Lejaby. This is the full cup style of the Melusine model and fits like a large 30E or small 30F I guess. It is a touch too roomy in the cups, which are narrow and deep. Lovely colour and detailing, light blue mesh with a solid soft but firm band. Love love love Lejaby and will seek out this bra's sisters. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    • I so want to try their Nuage strapless but I imagine it's just as shallow as the rest of the strapless bra world! They have some gorgeous stuff on eBay. Not much in my size but will keep my eyes peeled.

    • 2

I tried Nuage T-shirt bra and can confirm it being shallow, so logic says the strapless will be, too. For myself personally a "well-fitting strapless " is an oxymoron. A white elephant...

The most comfortable bra I own. Never digs, pokes or pinches and doesn't require adjustments, even after 12+hrs wear. Good lift & support and gives a nice, natural shape (not too round or pointy). And it's sheer! The only downside is that being a full cup with close set cups, it comes up too high to wear with a v-neck shirt.

Edited: Finally learned how a bra is actually supposed to fit and the band is too big and the underwires only cover half my boob on the side . It feels fine but gives no support - thus the back issues I've experienced! I should be in a 32 but it looks like Elixir only goes up to a G cup, which makes me sad because they really do make the most comfortable bras!
