Runs very big in the cup... this 32DD fits similar to many UK 32Fs. Beautiful fabrics and super comfortable. Traditional full cup look under clothes, i.e. a very defined apex without actually being pointy, but suitable for somewhat low-cut tops as the gore is not too tall. Band is true to size--not nearly as snug as older (2015 and prior) Lejaby Elixir bras but not as stretchy as current main collection Maison Lejaby bands.

    • I am currently obsessing over Maison Lejaby and other french brands (empriente, simon perele, aubade, chantelle,) and I am glad to have found this more recent review.
I am finding bras in a 75 band! Starting at a C cup and I so badly want to buy but am so hesitant due to the cups running larger.

they have this obviously very thin model in a 90D, and she has it on the loosest hook! Which makes me question if I should go ahead an get a 75C/D instead for an 80C. I find myself sizing out of 28D into 28DD in my Cleo Minnie and Freya Vertical Seam..and most of my bras. What do you think?
Thanks for being our resident french bra specialist!

    • Oh wow I actually had no idea they had branched out to 75! That's a BFD!!! Yeah so ignore what is happening on the models because they put them in weird sizes. This being said, I and most others usually found the Elixir bands ran very small. I can't recall if they were cut small to begin with as well, but they just were very firm and did not stretch as much as most bras once worn on the body (regardless of how much you could stretch if you pulled with your hands). This is very unlike the fit on the main-collection Lejaby lines, which fit pretty slack in the band.
I've only ever dealt with their teeny flagship store in the 16th arrondissement, but they were SUPER friendly and had great customer service there. You might try contacting them over chat on their website or on FB and seeing if someone can help.
