  1. Lucile Preform Plunge Bra (125502)

Really pretty, lightly padded bra. Honestly, this was the very first bra I tried in my "new" size, so it may not be perfect, but it fits leaps and bounds better than anything I've worn yet. There was a little spillage on my larger breast but it isn't noticeable unless standing perfectly straight (which, let's face it, isn't often), and I know if I went up to a 32F the cup would be too big for my smaller breast, so I decided to just keep it. The band is pretty stretchy; I don't have much to compare it to, but the 32E BAND fit me similarly to the Cleo Marcie in 34F, but is a bit stretchier. It has high sides that hold in extra high armpit tissue. The seams on the cups made it just a little bit pointy under really thin shirts. The wires were very comfortable for my wide root, shallow breasts.

This bra works very well for shallow & wide breasts like mine. My measurements are 28 underbust & 31 bust. It looks great on me, but I don't really fill it out without the padding inserts, a 30B might be better but I don't know. It looks perfect with the inserts. I did have to shorten the straps more than usual to flatten out the top of the cups since I barely have any breast tissue on top, but there's no gapping. I only wish the lace didn't poke out from the cups so far, I can't wear my low tank tops with this.

I have very shallow, very wide breasts that are slightly tubular/conical in shape.

This is a pretty bra. It's not outrageously complicated or bridal, but it's not boring, either. Some lace adorns the cups, but it's sturdy and non-intrusive. Indeed, the overall construction of this bra seems to be pretty good. No loose threads or itchy spots.

The band is stretchy, much stretchier than one would expect from a strapless. I have a 29" ribcage, and I can pull the bra back about 3-4" from my back on the tightest setting. If you want to get this bra, you might consider going *down* a ... band size.

The cups, however, are too deep for me, and they curve inwards too far on the top. However, it's not nearly as horrendous as most of the other strapless bras I've tried on lately. The cup width is good for me (but probably wider than an average bra). The cups are probably average as far as depth goes; unfortunately, I need something that is shallower than normal.

Because the cups are too deep and that Lepel doesn't carry sub-30 band bras, I will have to call this one a no-go for me. I do think that it would work wonderfully for someone else, though, someone whose root is wide but has more projection than I.

The Lepel Katie bra is similar to other Lepel bras (like the Fiore) in that it is best for wider-set shallow breasts. It is a satiny pink with a lace overlay on the top of the cups. There is a sheer bow and a pearl decoration in between the cups - this bra evokes a sort of a vintage glamor. The cups are molded, but not heavily padded/push-up.

As a petite woman with smaller boobs, I am often recommended balcony/balconette bras that end up jabbing me due to high center gores. This bra does not have that issue.

Shape: The shape of the cups are more natural, leaning toward a bit pointiness due to the center seams from the bottom of the underwire and across the nipple area to the top of the cup. This does not bother me, but if you prefer a really round shape, I would skip this bra.

I am a 28D and the 30D was comfortable on the second hook.

This is my first well fitting bra after measuring myself and realizing that my 32B bras did not fit correctly. My breasts are small, shallow, and wide and this beautiful fits really well. The only slight issue is that the straps (not the cups) feel pretty wide.

This is a very comfortable bra for me. The straps stay up. The construction is sturdy. It's a very nice-looking bra: is both a pretty bra and is flattering for my breasts.

The bra comes with small inserts/cookies that you can remove if you wish, but I just wear them all the time. There's enough room in there that you can insert more/larger cookies for some va-va-voom.

I tried this bra because the Lepel Fiore fit me so nicely. Unfortunately for me, the Erin bra is much deeper than the Fiore, so it didn't work at all for my shallow shape. Too bad, since I was particularly excited to find a bra with straps thin enough to be worn under a tank top. If you have enough projection to wear this bra and you're looking for something with small straps, definitely try this one out. If you have very shallow breasts, though, stick with the Fiore bras from this line.

I really like this bra - it's pretty and stylish. The lace is special, and the matching briefs are interesting, comfy and make my butt look great hah..

I measure a 28d - 28dd but I have very shallow breasts. I could stand to size up in the cup with this as I have experienced a bit of re-migrated breast tissue and I've lost an inch in the band. I quad boob a bit but it's not noticeable under clothes and this gives me a nice everyday shape.

Highly suggested for shallow boobs! Also comes with removable padding inserts to even out asymmetry.

Shame it doesn't come in a 28 or 26 band..

It's a little loose for me. Not hugely but I need to wear it on the middle hook. Also, I quad boob when I scoop n swoop but it settles down enough to be comfortable and to give a great cleavage! I actually wear it pretty frequently even though it's a bit small in the cup. I've had it for a while no and it hasn't really stretched out at all.

Fits just like Lepel's "Madeline" Padded Balcony Bra. Review here: http://bra.pe/S40/.

    Inexpensive, on-sale, a brand I'd hadn't yet tried I figured "Give it a go".

Outside design gave the impression it was constructed of vertical seamed cups. Nope. One look inside it's clear this bra has very different construction. In fact, it is just not built for my shape. It's similar styling to Panache's Ariza, Andorra or Melody bras which I know having tried them on in stores do absolutely ZERO for my shape. Now add padding to that and it's just uncomfortable chest decoration. Center gore pulls away from body. Size 30-band is far too loose to be supportive. Breast tissue spills out from many places. Cup cuts into top of breasts.

    Cute design, poor fit.

Identical review for 3 sizes of the same bra. Find 30FF here: http://bra.pe/S42/ and 30G here: http://bra.pe/S40/.

I wondered why Lepel brand bras always seemed to be in-stock... so I took a chance and ordered a few sizes. Reviews I'd read were scant.

Since I'm on average a 30G in padded bras I started there. Some reviews suggested the cups may be too large/small so I decided to try the 30FF and a 32G as well. (I knew 32G cups would be larger--more like 30GG but the band would be looser).

Based on the design I anticipated this cup style as having vertical seams covered with satiny ... fabric. When I opened the delivery I was sad to see what I thought were really bizarre seams underneath. It's actually very similar to those of many Panache Superbra styles like Ariza, Andorra or Melody which all have a horizontal line that curves across the breast with a single vertical line on the bottom part of the cup. Personally, I think it makes boobs look like blinking eyes, which is kinda creepy. Either way it's not something that helps my shape and so the main reason I cannot stand to look at those types of bras. And this combined with the padded material certainly does NOTHING to flatter such a large cup (at least not on me).

Both 30FF + 30G were awkward shaped and too small in cup size to consider. I really wanted to make the 32G work because my breasts actually were closer to filling the cups properly... the terrible shape just did nothing for support. The 32-band was far too big but so were both of the 30-bands. The center gore pulled away from all 3 bras. There was side boob and more spillage on all 3 bras. The quality of all 3 bras was so sub par and uncomfortable I did not want to put them back on to take pictures ...but I did. As pretty as the design is it felt like being back in my old 34D US-sized bra. I couldn't wait to get them sent back for my refund.

After all of this I really wonder how Lepel stay in business. Are there really women out there who fit properly into this brand's styles? If so, do they really stay so quiet? If there are in fact ladies out there who proudly wear Lepel in F+ cup sizes I wish they would review them more often so other women (like me) had some idea what we were getting into!

Very pretty lace bra. Not an ideal fit for my short, wide, shallow and slightly conical boobs.

Quality: Really loved the quality of this bra, no loose threads and the cookies feel substantial. The fabric feels nice and thick and luxe.

    Pros:
    - Plunge & Gore - while the gore didn't fit me, I really appreciated that this was a true plunge shape with a short gore. It can be really hard to find these in dd+ sizes so this was a huge plus for me.
    - Cup height - I'm finding my short boobs quite hard to fit but the height of these cups was perfect. I wouldn't recommend if you're ... super full on top or tall but definitely worth a go if you're short and struggling to find things
    - Band - The band is supremely comfortable and felt like I wasn't wearing anything at all. The corset detail is a nice touch too.

    Cons:
    - Cup shape - With my slightly conical boobs, the horizontal seam really just accentuated the slightly pointy shape, which I'm personally trying to counteract with my underwear. The bottom of the cup projects in pretty much a straight diagonal line so if you have very bottom heavy/round boobs you may find that this is not an issue for you, but if you're slightly pointier, it really does add up to a sort of "madonna" effect that I personally didn't enjoy.
    - The straps - The straps are very pretty but I have some question of their durability as they aren't truly attached to the cups. They're actually attached to the elastic at the edge of the cup and the lace overlay of the cup, so I'm not sure how long they'd last or how much they would really do their job. While support is the bands job these really did leave me feeling a little wild and free.
    - Strap placement - Again, a personal preference but the straps really were just too wide set for me. They were better than other bras I've tried but I could still tell that they would chafe me over the course of the day.

Overall I would definitely urge people to give it a go. I picked this bra up for £6 in the Pour Moi sale so for that price and with their returns policy I've really lost nothing in trying it out and it's definitely an option I'll keep in mind for the future.

I had been worried if the wrinkes would be looked through t-shirts but it wasn’t.
The cup is longer than I expected. After I adjust straps, the top of the cup irriates the skin around the armpit. It gets alright as I wear it through a day.
Sadly, this is slightly small for me. It leaves marks on the outer sides of my breasts. I think I need deeper and wider cups.

UPDATE December 2021: I thought that I might have spurted immediate projection since I last wore this bra because I was having issues with the wires aligning properly with my IMF. Alas, it is a band issue. I already need to use the last hook (original problem solved) and I haven't even had this bra for a year! I hand-wash all of my bras in cold water using a detergent for silks and lingerie. I lay my bras flat to dry. I wish I could say "you get what you pay for" but this bra isn't exactly inexpensive. Caveat emptor.

    ---

For reference, I ... have a fairly shallow shape and my breast tissue is wide-set.
Of all of the bras meant to give lift or extra volume, this one is better than average for my wide-set frame. It's comfortable enough to wear all day although the straps are too wide for someone of my stature (I'm 5'1"). I'd like them to rest more centered on my shoulders. Wearing this with a bodycon outfit is problematic because the lace is very texturized. It also makes my breasts look pointy (which isn't really my preferred look), so I usually wear this bra with looser fitting clothing. This bra isn't perfect, but it's much better than many others I've tried for lift or the semblance of some cleavage.

I've wanted to try the Lepel Fiore for a long time, but it isn't easily available in the US and based on measurements it seems to run 1 cup size big with a tighter band. I originally tried this in a 30D and found that the cups were a bit too short and shallow, with the upper cup cutting into my roots, so I decided to reorder in 30DD although I felt the band was actually a bit loose.

I was surprised to see that the fabric is so soft, as some other UK brands are notorious for stiff lace (I'm looking at you, Freya!). The cups are made ... from very soft floral lace, although it looks quite delicate and seems like it might snag easily. The bottom cup is double lined with soft stretch tricot, and the upper cup has a small strip of clear elastic at the upper edge. The cradle and wings are made from very stretchy matte jersey. I love the little lace up detail that connects the cradle and wings. Straps are not very wide, and taper off to a leotard back.

Compared to the 30D, this fits me much better. Interestingly, there’s a big difference between the two sizes in terms of coverage. The 30D is like a demi cup bra, and the 30DD is like a full coverage bra. The wires are noticeably taller in this size. The larger cups enclose all my tissue and provide much more support. I originally thought that the 30D wasn’t supportive enough, but this was due to the cups being too small and too short. The elastic at the upper cup doesn’t cut into my roots anymore, although it does create a bit of a visible indent due to its tension. The cups are actually a smidge too large on me, and I see a bit of wrinkling on my smaller side. The taller cups do chafe a little bit under the arms, but since the material is so soft, it’s not too uncomfortable.

It’s still a nice bra, but I am kind of between sizes and would prefer a 28 band. Too bad this doesn’t come in 28E!

I've wanted to try the Lepel Fiore for a long time, but it isn't easily available in the US and based on measurements it seems to have a tighter band, and sizing between the Padded Plunge and Unlined Full Cup are pretty different. I finally decided to go ahead and order both the Full Cup and the Padded Plunge styles from eBay now that my measurements are definitely enough to fit the 30D in Unlined Full Cup and 30DD in the Padded Plunge. Luckily, they both fit, although neither is my favorite.

I was surprised to see that the fabric is so soft, as some other UK ... brands are notorious for stiff lace (I'm looking at you, Freya!). The cups are made from very soft floral lace, although it looks quite delicate and seems like it might snag easily. The cups aren't stiff like Parfait Charlotte, but a soft foam like the B. Tempt'd Ciao Bella, though the cup construction is different. The cradle and wings are made from very stretchy matte jersey. I love the little lace up detail that connects the cradle and wings. Straps are not very wide, and taper off to a leotard back.

I got lucky with this particular bra as the band runs small. The Unlined Full Cup I own is TTS in the band, and it feels too stretchy for me and unsupportive. This one is much better. Overall the cup width, depth, and size seem fine on me, although it's hard for me to be sure due to the padding. The bottom cup has another thin removable pad, and because of this I get the feeling that I am not filling out the bottom of the cup since my tissue is not sitting against the wire, however the bra does look like it fits OK. Cut and sew foam bras can be prone to visible seams, and this one is no exception. I get a bit of a pointy shape, just like I get with the Panache Andorra Plunge, but as this one is foam, the effect is stiffer. The bottom cup is cut without much room, so it appears as a diagonal slope rather than a rounded shape, leaving little room for FOB breasts to go. The upper cup fits me better than the Unlined Full Cup as there's no additional clear elastic to cut into my tissue.

The main point I don't love about this bra is the comfort factor. While the Unlined Full Cup is super comfortable in all its soft lace glory, this one just feels a little weird. It might be partially due to the fact that I am not used to wearing bras with inserts, because the feeling of not being up against the wire from the inside of the cup just feels odd, but it's also due to the tall sides of the cup where the straps attach. Honestly, I always have this issue with certain cuts of plunge bras, especially foam-lined ones, since I am very petite and the distance between my breasts and armpit is quite short.

Because of this, I'd say this bra would be tough for women with short torsos unless you wear a smaller cup size, and it doesn't seem suited for FOB shapes. It fits OK and looks fine under clothing, but it isn't a favorite of mine.
