This is the probably the biggest train wreck I've encountered in my bra journey. The gore is so wide, making the cups too far apart for me. I would say the cups run two sizes small. They are very short and small for a 30E while the wide gore makes bra cups very wide in the armpit area.

It doesn't help that I gave the elastic at the top of the cup on my black one the slightest tug and it snapped, leaving a mess of loose fabric. The bras look barely worn but the delicate mesh is showing wear and fraying. I don't expect a ton of durability from a mesh satin bra but that's ridiculous.

Bizarre fit and bad quality. My first experience with this brand is not a good one.

Woah that's a weird fitting bra!

    • 1

I suppose this will fit someone...somewhere....sometime. ;-) ;-) Thanks for alerting us!

    • Have any friends with very wide set boobs? It's certainly a shame that the bra fits so bad, it is so pretty. It sort of looks like they just shortened the band in the back down to a 30 instead of scaling it down from the 34 band bras.

    • 2

I noticed this bra has some patents on the tag, googled and discovered Le Mystere's No 9 line is designed for augmented breasts. They say the wide gore will provide better support for them. Interesting, guess that's why they didn't work for me!

      https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/dr-david-b-brothers-reveals-3-reasons-women-with-implants-require-a-special-bra-200414801.html

    • 1

I hope these bras help augmented women. They are nearly opposite the characteristics my breasts require. Variety in design is a necessity!

    • 1

Super interesting! I wonder if trans women would also benefit from the wider shape?

    • 1

Oh s**t! That's soooo interesting. I wonder why they don't attempt to market them as such? How do these women know to look for these bras if it is not annotated anywhere? Do plastic surgeons have a list of bras that are best for augmented breasts? Hmm.
And cupandahalf I think trans women could benefit from the wider shape under certain circumstances. If they are using forms or have had top surgery, although they would need to sew in pockets for the forms/cookies/chicken cutlets and these cups may not me quite large enough (coverage wise) to accommodate the forms and keep them stable. But if the women is only growing her breasts, this bra may not work at all because they typically (generally speaking, not saying it's true for all t.women) have very wide roots with shallow breasts. I know I've gone a bit off topic, but I could literally talk about this all day. Being a very gender fluid individual.

    • Cool. Thanks for the great info!

I wore the Le Mystere Tisha Evolution in 30D regularly as my daily smooth cup bra for several months, and have am happy to stay that I love this style. However, the 30D has very narrow wires, and when I am fully scooped, there is some overflow at the top. Since this is an open balconette style, the problem is less obvious than it would be in a cup that is more closed on top, but it is finally time to size up, and I am so glad that I did!

Compared to most molded cup bras, the Tisha Evolution is one of the deepest styles I've ... come across, fitting about a 1/2 cup size larger in depth, while the wires are very narrow yet flexible. The 30D wires have always been too narrow for me, but thankfully the 30DD is much better in this regard. It gives a very lifted and pushed up rounded shape without any padding, and is my best fitting bra so far. Now I have both Black and Natural colorways in 30D and 30DD.

Even though this isn't a full band bra, I find that it feels really secure and comfortable. The band is one of the most TTS 30s I've come across, and it's a really comfortable construction that feels snug without feeling tight. The entire bra including the band is made from a slightly shiny tricot material with a hefty 25% Spandex. (This fabric is advertised as having some kind of cool touch technology that lasts through a certain number of washes, but this is hard for me to tell, however it has held up very nicely through wash and wear, and doesn't show any snags despite the satiny fabrication). The elastic is enclosed within the wings and not visible, which is a unique construction detail I don't often see. The upper cups have a clean bonded edge. There is a bit of a leotard back, which is also nice. Straps are fully adjustable and are skinny but thick elastic, and they have a bit of texture to them, so I feel they will stay in place better than many other bras.

Aesthetically, it's sleek, simple, smooth, and sophisticated. It reminds me of an old Victoria's Secret Very Sexy bra that I owned and loved for many years. The only embellishment is rose gold hardware and a small LM circular charm at the center front, plus the aforementioned strap elastic detail. I love every part of this bra, but one thing I noticed is that the back hook section feels like stiff plastic, and this was odd enough I thought it was a fluke, but I ordered 3 more of these and they are all made from the same material. This could be uncomfortable to some, but it wasn't noticeable when worn.

I have finally found my perfect t-shirt bra, and I highly recommend this style. One other point that truly impressed me-- I ordered 4 total bras in the same size, and all of them measured very close, and several of them measured identically. Since I've had experiences with some bra models varying significantly in measurements, this was a pleasant surprise. A fantastic find!

Cup too small for me! Band feels TTS, and I feel like the cup size is about right in TTS, too. The previous owner, right here on Bratabase, had written that it feels more like a 30DD rather than an E. I personally felt it could pass as an E, after trying on other 30E's I had bought and also sister-size 32DD'S in-stores. This may also be as I am shallow and wide-rooted. After trying a Lepel 30G, I now know I must be a 30F/FF.
This bra seems to be right for my shape, and I would have loved to keep it if it was of the ... right size for me.
I like the satin-silky feel that is smooth-to-touch, and find it extremely convenient that it is unpadded. This offer comfort and a branch of versatility whilst also providing lift and coverage.

This bra certainly is of breathable mesh and you could wear it under a casual tshirt for everyday, or under under a fancy dress and let some of the pretty & shiny black material peep through.

I would list this right here on Bratabase, but I sadly do not own a measuring tape. I have listed it on Ebay, so please check it out there https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Ps I only put the comfort and appearance as, just, "Good" (aka, "I dont know"), as I have not worn it in my true size. The bra itself looks pretty, indeed.

Band is very comfy but major quad boob. Order shows it was a 30E but label shows its 30DD (was the size selected for me when I selected "30E" through herroom)

This is a rather plain t shirt bra but one that gets pretty good reviews so I thought I'd try again. The 30D's cups were too small, so I ordered one size up. This bra must really run small because I still got a little quad boob, especially towards the center. The straps were too far apart for my frame so going up again in cup size is not an option.

    Didn't fit

I bought my first Le Mystere Sophia Lace Bra a very long time ago randomly from Nordstrom Rack, and I have loved it ever since. I bought the bra in 30C and it seemed to fit quite well before scooping. It gave a really nice rounded, lifted shape, and I was impressed by how TTS the 30 band was.

However, now I realize that this bra was always too small for me, since I was not a 30C at the time I purchased it and was actually a 30D. It is a plunge cut and the shape of the cup is somewhere between the Masquerade Alice ... and Ewa Michalak M, so it is designed for FOT shapes, and can accommodate more upper fullness, which is why I wasn't totally spilling out of the 30C despite it being too small. Recently, I was able to pick up three bras in 30DD/E, which is my current normal sister size and my normal size in Le Mystere.

However, as I had to size down in the Masquerade Alice to a 30D, it looks like I will need to size down in this bra as well, since I am not very full on top. I also found that the 30DD/E is designed to be too wide for my frame, so the outer cups are too high under my arm, and every time I move, it gaps horribly. There is also some slight gapping in this size when just standing. It seems to run a half cup big, though probably not a full cup big. The depth of this size is actually a little shallower than Alice in 30D.

In addition, the bottom of the cup is quite shallow and there is not much immediate projection. Because of this, I believe there's a bit of a manufacturing issue when molding the foam for the cups, as on some of the Sophia bras, I've noticed a bit of a ridge where the bottom of the foam meets the wire, so that there is no room for the breasts to sit right against the wire. It is more prominent on some of the bras I have tried than others, so I don't think this is intentionally part of the design. In this bra, it is very prominent. Because of this, and probably because the wires are too big, I found that the bra wouldn't sit properly and there appeared to be space at the bottom of the cup, when in reality I think it's just the shape of the foam that's stopping the wires from sitting properly.

However, the bra is super pretty, and I just love the way it looks. The outer cup is covered with a layer of floral jacquard lace with a slight crossdye effect. The cradle and band are also fully covered in lace. I like that the band is actually made from mesh topped with lace, and has a proper wide bottom edge elastic, so it's not one of those flimsy lace bands that so many brands love to make. While it's narrow, it actually feels firm and supportive! The straps are narrow, but they do get a bit wider as sizing goes up. The front of the straps is covered with textured picot edged ribbon, while the adjustable portion at the back is plain satin. Fully adjustable straps would have been better, but the length of these isn't too bad. The only decoration is a lace bow at the gore with a small teardrop crystal charm.

I really wished that the 30DD/E bras worked for me, but it looks like I will need to hunt down a 30D to get my best fit in this style! Since I sized down to a 30D in the Masquerade Alice, I expect that the two bras to fit quite similarly in the same size.

Got this bra as used and it definitely feels that way. I swim in the band, so it's hard to get a good fit diagnosis.
I *think* it's too shallow/FoB/seperate for me, but again, it's hard to tell! I will be gifting this bra soon! Would work well for a 30:5 or 32:4 person https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This bra runs a little small both in the band and the cups. Fits more like a 28 band. The cups are a little narrower than my other bras, it gives a nice rounded shape like the Freya Deco (4234) . The smaller size gives the "oomph" I need sometimes, but not to the point of quad boobing. The straps are also on the shorter side, I have an extremely short torso with high set boobs and the straps are just long enough. This is a very elegant bra with black laces on top of the tan cup bases. I imagine if you remove the black lace layer it would be a good nude bra but I have no intention of doing that just yet.

Got this off valtron and at first it didn't seem to fit too well. The band is looser than my 28's when I wear them, so probably closer to a 30 band. I have to wear it on the tightest hook.

I tried the bra on again (a couple months later) and it magically fits so well now. I guess the small amount of tissue migration that has happened was enough to fill out the cups. I love the smooth look of this bra as well, and it looks fantastic under shirts!
