This bra was my last stop on my bra tour of Poland. There was very little data here on Konrad and I couldn't even find very many reviews online.

The brand came on my radar when I saw a super pretty heavily multi-coloured embroidered aqua bra (that they released this spring) on a blog covering the Spring Polish Salon Bielizny.

When I went to their website to find that bra, this bra instead captivated my attention immediately - it is SO original. I have never seen anything quite like it in terms of the colour combination.

I hemmed and hawed about buying it for months and only pulled the trigger ... when I found it on EBay from a seller than I have used before and who I knew accepted returns and exchanges without argument.

I first ordered the bra in my then usual Polish size - 65G. I am actually between sizes 65G and 65H...leaning more to H these days...and when it arrived in 65G, it was clearly too small. I contacted the seller and he agreed to send me the 65H right away.

NB - "Right Away" when ordering from Poland and having things shipped Polish Post is a minimum month wait.

Anyhow...here it is. It arrived. And, it is beautiful and it fits. It's not my optimal fit due to wire width, but it fits.

This bra is technically a balcony - but the top panel is cut more straight across and cup height is a little lower, so it looks like a hybrid between a balcony and soft balconette/half cup/demi. It's different.

Combine this cut with shoulder straps that are a little wide set and you get a bra that's terrific under low wide necklines (like a sweetheart or a boatneck).

OK - back to the structure.

It is a 4-part softcup bra - 3 vertical panels in the bottom part of the cup and one horizontal in the top part.

The outermost panel connects to the strap and although there is no side sling, this structure gives somewhat of a side support. Ewa Michalek uses a similar construction and so does Krisline in some of their soft bras.

The negative thing about this construction is that it often results in straps that are wide set. So...if you tend to have problems with that, this bra is most likely not for you. The straps on this bra are wide set much like Ewa's SF.

The lower part of the cup is made from a sheer printed mesh. It is lined with opaque burgundy mesh.

The top part of the cup is sheer mesh with a feminine irregularly scalloped edge and colourful embroidery with metallic copper accents. The copper thread embroidery extends down onto the bottom of the cup also. It is stunningly beautiful - it almost twinkles.

This top section has a narrow elastic strip at the top of the cup. Good to note if you have tall soft roots and tend to experience cutting in/quad boob. It's left loose though - it doesn't shir the cup at all when the bra isn't on.

The wires are pretty narrow for this size - a 14cm wide wire at 65H isn't too bad. Only about 1/2-1 cm wider than my preference, so while it doesn't push me as front and center as I like, it's not annoying or even unflattering.

Cups are pretty projected at the wire. I get VERY minor wrinkling. VERY minor. In fact, I only noticed it when I took angle photos.

    And: Gore TACKS. SOLID. AWESUMMMMMMMM

    Wings are pretty low.

Straps on this bra are heaven. They're fully adjustable and padded on the front 1/3. Smooth edges too. It's a nice change from picot trim. Adjusters are colour-matched. Sweet.

The charm at the gore is a cute heart with a crystal. It's nice but feels a little "light". And...the bows on this bra look cheap. Compared to the rest of the bra, the ribbon looks cheap. Head scratching as to why corners would be cut here on an otherwise pretty mid to high-end bra...

The band is firm burgundy knitwear. It fabulous. TTS.

I ordered the thong but it wasn't available so the seller sent me "figs". I was expecting regular briefs, as this is what I had recalled seeing in photos online, however, when they arrived they are full, high-waisted briefs. They are full coverage on the back (translate: my man HATES them) but they are CRAZY comfortable, the embroidery is gorgeous and there's lots of it on them.

This is a lovely set of nice quality and if something in their line caught my attention, I would buy from Konrad again. I uploaded TONS of photos -more than can be seen just from the Adventure preview.
