Holy lemon halves glued to a wall, Batman!

I ordered this bra because it is widely recommended for shallow breasts, but this is one of the most insanely narrow, projected bras I have encountered (in tiny sizes). The cup is an incredible 3 5/8" wide, at least an inch too narrow for my super-wide, shallow breasts.

I can't see why this bra is recommended for shallows AT ALL; presumably larger cups don't have this dramatically pointy, narrow, and projected shape. (I ordered it in two colorways, black/magenta and cornflower blue, so I don't think it's a manufacturing fluke.)

Too bad, though -- I wanted to like this bra. It's inexpensive, the lace and detailing are pretty, and the band is generously wide. The Just Peachy Lana Broderie is a much better shape in this size, so I may try ordering some of the other Just Peachy balconettes, but perhaps I had better keep looking for vertically-seamed bras in my size. (Still looking... are they out there?...)

As a balconette style, this bra has less room in the bottom part of the cups. I have more breast tissue below the nipple than above, so this makes it a bit less comfortable for me. I had been concerned that the seam across the front might show through t-shirts, but it doesn't, as the lace texturing conceals the edges of the seam. It's pretty and comfortable.

  3. I have shallow, moderately wide breasts that are conical in shape.

Having tried on several padded bras across some of the various Figleaves brands, I can definitely say that they are all the same basic shape. Shallow, wide, moderately padded, the cups are just a tad small, the band runs small/tight, and the straps are a bit too far apart for me.

Even though this one was cheaper than many other Figleaves bras I've tried, this one seems to be of superior quality. No puckering, the strap length stays put, etc. The only quality quibble I have is that there's already a few stray threads on this bra, straight out of the box.

I got the pink with black lace, and it's a very pretty bra. And the lace isn't obnoxious, either. I'd definitely recommend this bra for anyone else with shallow breasts, especially if they have wider shoulders. And even at full price ($30), I'd say it's a great deal.

I tried on 30D and 32C. The cups are the same size as expacted but the bands were so tight that I kept the 32C one. After a few times wearing the band is too large so that I will shorten it. I recommend buying the smaller size and using an extender.

I don't know if this bra is to shallow for me or just to small but it doesn't fit me. The band feels tight as well.

I bought this on a whim, because I like my other Just Peachy padded balconette in 30C, but sometimes feel it's a bit small (on my larger swing of the month). This is fast becoming my favorite bra! Either a combination of the wing height (which overall I do like) or the cup width makes me wonder if it's too wide for me, but it's comfortable so I don't worry about it. About the only complaint I have is that the straps are *just* at the max width for me; they're not quite in my armpits, but they'd sure like to be. As with all bras on me, they're also a titch too short.

This one didn't fit my shallow breasts. The tops gapped unless I sat up straight with excellent posture which realistically I wouldn't be in the majority of the time. The bra itself is very comfy and pretty though. I got this as a lingerie set with panties. The lace is very soft and of great quality. The lace is not glued to the cups so things could fall in between the cups and the lace. The lace is fully shown onto the underwire but only attached at 4 points on the top of the cup. The padding is thin (about 1/32"). It's a very pretty bra though if you are a full D cup.

    • I again think the fit problem here with the gaping is because the band is clearly too big for you. I think the 30 band bras you own fit you very well, IF you put in the time to shorten the band to your needed length of 28.

I have a wide root and shallow boobs. I do need flat cups but not extraordinary wide wires. I almost don't have any volume on top.

The band is really tight and can be compared with a 28 in other styles. That might be why the gore hurt me everytime I wore this bra.
The cups are very shallow and were too shallow for me which caused a quadboob effect. The wires are extraordinary wide and were about 2cm too wide for me.

At first, I thought this bra fit me pretty well. It is pretty shallow, fits snugly, gore tacks great, only minimal poking, and is terrific at minimizing and keeping my boobs securely in place. After about 1 week of wear, I began to realize that the wires were just too wide for my narrow rooted breasts, the cup was too tall for me, and that the outer top edge of the cup was cutting into my pectoral muscles. Plus, although I have a very large frame, this bra just seemed too wide, tall, and large for my shallow, deflated boobs.

It just isn't doing what I wanted, which ... was to give me some oomph and lift. It just seemed to flatten my soft and shallow breasts further. It felt more like a sports bra fit on my body. I've lost about 110 lbs recently, and my boobs are quite deflated, so while I measure about a 34 DD, I just don't have the volume, projection, and firmness of breast tissue to fill out this cup. It doesn't wrinkle much on the top edge, which is a problem I normally have with most bras, but when I bend over or reach, it gapes incredibly. I tried adding some silicone cutlets, but it didn't fix the fit problems for me.

This would be a great bra for someone who is fuller, has little sagging, is shallow, wide rooted, and measures 32-34 band-wise, as the band is very snug on the last hook. The only other thing I'd add fit-wise is that I have a very curvaceous rib cage in the front, and the wires sit very straight. I found it would pinch the front of my ribs at the very bottom of the cup. May not bother someone with more rib cage padding.

On the plus side, it is a very pretty bra, and I'm sad it doesn't fit well as I think it is quite sexy looking. It was listed as 'gray', but the color is more like a smoke lavender with pinkish cream detailing and inner cups. I did cut out the Figleaves branding tag on the back because it was scratchy, but I left the washing info/sizing info tag, which has a satin feel. It has been washed twice, and worn approximately 20 times. It has stretched out a bit, but still looks and feels next to new.

Great for wide, shallow breasts. However, my breasts have recently gotten slightly more projected so the bottom of the cups are actually a bit too shallow for me.
The band runs small and fits snug for a 28'' underbust.
