  1. Theresa Uf (201)

Finally my best fitted bra list will be updated. I almost can't find any disadvantages of this bra. The material is soft and the color is joyful. The base of the cup is made with very stretchy lace, and there is a unstretchy mink liner inside.

It's deep enough for my projected boobs and can also give my boobs a rounded shape. The center gore is not too wide and the wire just sits perfectly in my IMF. Like other Hunkemoller bras, the band is tight. I would describe it as a 67 band rather than a 70 band.

The price is also very friendly to a student's budget, it costs only 25 Euro.

Summary: I think Hunkemoller E+ cup series is generally a good choice for normal size boobs in EU regions. Although they don't provide very professional fitting service in their local stores, but their online shop has many fancy bra styles with reasonable prices and a good return policy. Just with some luck and bra fitting knowledge, you can also easily get your perfect fit there.

Actually it's a beautiful ruby pink bra and it also fits me. Unfortunately there are two small holes on the cup top. I don't know why, so I decided to return it back.

The shape of this bra is just perfect. The 70F cups are narrow, projected and not too much padded just like Comexim halfcup bras in 70H/70HH. But they are not so tall as Comexim halfcups, so this bra can give me a better fit.

The center gore top is also wider than Comexim, but for me it's not a problem. The gore bottom is
6.0 cm wide, so it's an advantage for splayed/seperated boobs.

My favorite ... of this bra is the material of the band and the straps. Although it can be only stretched to 78.7 cm, it doesn't make my ribcage painful when I pull the bra up to let the wire sit into my IMF. The straps are made with satin, very soft and stretchy, and easy to adjust.

Summary: Excellent shape compare to other padded bras, but maybe not a good choice for someone who is very concerned with the detail appearance of the bra.

Wow. This bra is gorgeous. I love the lace, the color, the shape, everything. Are you going to ask them to exchange it for the same bra, just not a defective one? I wish I could wear a center gore higher than 1" because I would so buy this bra.

      Thanks for the review!

    • This looks really great on you! So pretty too.

I've already ordered another bra with a similar cut.

By the way, this brand provides a lot of different shapes from narrow and projected to wide and shallow, with reasonable prices and update every half year, so it's worth to try it out. And if you become their member, there are even more price adventages. However, their bands are very tight, the 70F feels just like a loose/stretchy 30F.

This bra actually has the same design as the Hunkemoller Marina Padded. But for the AW colours, the name has been changed. It's the most TTS 70F Hunkemoller bra I've ever tried, so the band is definitely a little bit too loose for me.

It's a very comfortable bra. The material is soft and not itchy. With the "Passion Points" I collected on Hunkemoller App, I spent only about 18 EUR to get it. And the quality ist just amazing, the lace patterns of the both cups are almost symmetric.

The center gore is too wide and tall for my close set boobs. With the loose band, the issue becomes ... worse. I can even set a finger under the top of the center gore when I am leaning.

Compare to other bras from Hunkemoller "The One and Only" collection, the cups of this bra are deep (22.5 cm). However there's still not enough projection for my shape.

Summary: A TTS bra that suitable for the most 70/32 ribcages, EU F-cup/UK E-cup boobs that based on the band size with average projected, average wide and even shape.

So I went to the Hunkemöller despite knowing they don’t stock my size in the shops, they have a few options online but I wanted to at least try on some sister sizes to have an idea if a certain bra would worth ordering in the first place. The people working there either really have no idea how a bra is supposed to fit or their trained to ignore a terrible just to be able to sell a bra. Anyway I decided to play along with their game of finding a fitting bra and tried on everything they suggested in any size. And I went something like this ... : here try this 80E I did and complained about the quadboob and that the band felt too loose to feel supported. Their solution: try the same one in 85E. This of course solved the too small cups but did nothing to get me any support. After more terrible fitting bra’s she decided that regular bra’s wouldn’t fit me and went on to give me bralettes in size large. Claiming as they had more hooks in the back so the tightest set would be smaller then the 80 bands. Of course this wasn’t the case and it was so loose the ill fit of the cups were hidden quite well. As a joke I tried to scoop my breasts in but the loose band made only one of them stay scooped. The result hilariously lob sided cleavage and zero support and guess what the person working there declared it a perfect fit.
It is a pretty bralette and for the intended size range it would probably be a nice option. According to their charts the L is for 85BCD and 90ABC which I think is fairly accurate.

Sounds a lot like Victoria’s Secret. Lol they tried to sell me a 38D one time when I was there looking for something for my teenager who wears a 30B. I literally had to put that 38D around my butt/hips to show the lady just how big the band was on me. I’m like that’s not how it works lady.

I'm curious about Hunkemoller bralettes, so I chose one to try. It looks lovely, however I don't think it is designed for curvy bodies.

The Evelyn Bralette came with 2 removable pads. I don't like them so I took them out. The material is soft and cozy. And extremely stretchy. It can't provide much support, but luckily my boobs are self-supported, so it's not too bad.

The major issue of this bralette is the too short front panel. Combine with the loose band, my 30:7 boobs just want to go under and escape. If I'm still 12 with a 30:3 or 30:4 size, maybe I will try it again in XS.

Summary: Excellent material, not suitable for small ribcage big cups, but probably ideal for young girls during puberty.

Well, so unfortunately it's like all bralettes (and bras) in clothing sizes :) all of them are either to loose in band or have too little panel in front. Luckily even brands like Nike start to make bras with different cup sizes :)

    • 1

A common experience for me, too.

I purchased a stretchy and supportive Rayon/Nylon/Lycra Ponte fabric that I hope to sew into a wonderfully supportive, comfortable bralette for my small band situation. Also, I plan to sew grosgrain ribbon to a significant section of the bands to limit stretch. I hope this transforms some of my current comfortable bras into supportive, comfortable bras.

    Didn't fit

Well, I purchased a Hunkemoller bra again because I'm really curious about the fitting of strapless bras. I've heard before that a lot of people can hardly fit in strapless bras, so today I'm going to write a protocol about one of them.

For a good fit, I think it's necessary to choose a strapless bra that has wider and more projected cups than regular bras. Otherwise it may cut into breast tissue under armpits. This bra is pretty wide and projected, it has 15.0 cm cup width and 23.7 cm cup depth. However the cups still get folded after I’ve jumped around the room. I guess the main ... cause is my firm tissue. Without the straps, the padded cups can't compress my firm boobs properly. But luckily this bra is multiway. As I put the straps on and tried it again, this issue disappeared.

The band of this bra can be stretched to 77.9 cm. I feel it is really tight but I don't consider it as a problem. Because all the weight of boobs should be supported by the band of strapless bras. The center gore is 8.1 cm tall and 2.0 cm wide at top. I think it is relatively wide for me but still can be tolerated.

Generally this bra is ok to wear. I love the bright colour and can also get some transparent straps to avoid the folding at cup bottom. However I prefer a cleavagy look, so I don't like the center gore very much. What do you think, shall I keep it or return it back, or do you have some other strapless bras to recommend? Just add a comment below and let me know.

As is always the answer with bras, it depends on your preference and comfort.

If you prefer cleavage with your strapless tops, how often will you really wear this bra? Unless you absolutely need to go strapless soon, I'd recommend returning it and finding one that better fits your needs/wants.

I bought a strapless bra (big, ugly, but held them up) years ago and never wore it . Waste of money. All the strapless tops and dresses that I wanted to wear it with, you could see the top of the bra. I had also wanted a more cleavage-y look. Ended up with the Neve strapless to meet that need.

If you have firm tissue or fibrous tissue, you will almost always get folding in a molded cup. As long as it is still supportive and looks the way you want it to under shirts, you can work with it. If you ever find one that doesn't fold (and isn't the Luxe) PLEASE let me know!

    • 1

I would keep it based on look.
I love the comment about jumping around the room. Because honestly, who doesn't do that from time to time.

    • 2

Love the color, and the clear straps is a great idea. It looks good on you. I personally haven’t found a strapless that didn’t annoy the heck out of me, or try to slide down my body. I’ve given up on strapless bras and now only buy a strapless, backless, stick on bra cup bra that has the lace up front to pull boobs together for more cleavage, or not. Now that I’ve found that, I’ll never wear a strapless bra again.

    • Happy2BraShop which stick on bra do you like? I'm considering getting one too, as I've given up on strapless bras.

    • Thanks for the suggestions. Have already returned it back because a better alternative was founded. I've tried my one year old 70F Change Nadine Multiway again, I like the design better and now it can also work better on me than one year ago. The only fit problem is just the over stretched band. But luckily there is a big sale in their online store currently and all the goods are 50% off. So my next bra is Nadine Multiway in 65G, and I will also buy the transparent straps and have a trial with them on, hope this bra can fit perfectly.

This bra actually fits, but I'm not satisfied with the shape. I think it can work better on someone with short roots, otherwise it is very nice.

The fabric is comfortable and stretchy. Compare to my Hunkemoller Theresa Uf, the cups are wider and slightly shallower. However due to the big elasticity, they can still contain my swelling boobs during the ovulation.

The wires are pretty soft, but still firmer than Theresa Uf. I forgot to mention that the center gore of Theresa Uf can be easily twisted when I scoop and swoop, and for this bra also a little bit. I guess it is not only related to the material, but also the sewing technique. Actually it's better to overlap the wire ends than sewing them directly too close together.

By the way, this can be the last Hunkemoller bra I tried this summer. Generally I have positive experience of this brand, their bras are not expensive, beautiful and can easily fit very well. I'm always looking forward to seeing their style updates.

I'm so happy to get this lovely bra. It fits perfectly and has a similar cut just as Hunkemoller Malika Padded: http://bra.pe/X23x/

The cups are narrow and VERY projected. They have almost 23 cm in depth and I should bend the wire a little bit down on my knee to measure them, but they are not pointy at all. Just at the opposite, they give my boobs a lifted and rounded look.

I've never expected that it can even make a cleavage. It has a center gore with 6.1 cm tall and 2.3 cm wide at top, but I don't feel it is too wide for me.

The ... band is really short, it is almost the shortest 70 band I have ever seen. However it is strechy. All the measurements of this bra are just like a strechy 30F/65G.

The high light of the appearance is the big bow on the center gore. That's also my favorite bra decoration.

By the way, I think I should write an email someday to suggest Hunkemoller to make more sizes. Now they only have cup sizes up to H for band sizes over 75. Maybe because of this it has been so far underrated. There is also not much information about this brand on Bratabase, but I guess I can help to complete, just because I love it and want to stick to it.

This bra is so beautiful and also very comfortable. However it doesn't fit.

The cups are a little bit too wide, but actually not very shallow. Hard to believe they are 23.0 cm deep. The main issue for me is the center gore. It can't work on my close boobs. The 8.7 cm height and 2.0 cm width makes it float off my breast gap. Another issue is the cup top, it's too close up for my even shape.

Like other Hunkemoller bras, this bra has very tight band. I love these 3×3 hooks because they can give me a more stable feel and make my back look straighter.

A two piece cup with nice stitching and lace on top. In smaller cup sizes (up to EU-E) the top part is see-through. For F,G and H they added an extra layer of fabric. I bought it in a light blue/turquoise coloir, it's also available in other seasoned colours and in black and white. There are three tiny roses added at the gore and the straps.

The straps are center-pull, rather wide, rather long and only partially adjustable. I will probably shorten them slightly

The band is wide and true to size which also means I will shorten it. The bra does come in 70 bands but only up to E-cup.

The fabric is sturdy and the bra gives me a very uplifted, pointed shape. There seems to be little immediate projection but I don't get empty space at the bottom. The wires are almost the perfect width.

It is labeled as a longline bra. However, I'd rather call it a "fake loneline", because the effective support area of this bra is no differently from a regular bra. The lace part below works only as a decoration, but it can give your back a straight look, although it can not provide any compression.

It looks so beautiful and I believe it can work on many people that are struggling to find a proper fitted "real" longline bra. Unfortunately it still has a distance from my perfect fit. The cups are 0,5 cm shallower than my favorite Hunkemoller Millie Padded 70F, so I get slightly quad boobs from ... them. The wires are stable and the center gore is also not too wide. Despite of the big lace part below, the effective gore height is only 7.3 cm. Compare to the other Hunkemoller bras, the band of this bra is extremely stretchy, but it's also very comfortable to wear on just like Hunkemoller Malika Padded.

Generally I will recommend it for someone with even, average wide and average projected boobs. The price is also affordable, it costs only about 33 Euro on Amazon.

I think I will follow this brand for a long time because it is inexpensive and provides so many interesting bra cuts to try. This one is their basic model.

It looks like a good fit on me, but actually it's not. I really don't like these thick padded cups because my firm tissue just press them down from my IMF. They can't provide any support for my boobs, but maybe they can work on someone with extremely soft tissue?

Despite of that, the material and the appearance details are all nice. Just as the name, the general feel of this bra is very light and comfortable. It's even softer than Comexim 2HC. The bow patterns on the straps make it looks lovely when getting close.

The band is tighter than my other Hunkemoller bras, it can only be stretched to 77.4 cm.

    • I have similar problem with any padded bra... I cannot feel comfortable at all. So actually the only padded bra I'm using is strapless/multiway one.

    • @pierniczki
Yep. Padded bras are generally more difficult to fit than unpadded bras. But I'm surprised that you can fit in strapless bras, I've heard they can only fit very few people, even more difficult than normal padded bras.

    • veggiechic I don't like them as well, but I got one now, because my boyfriend asked if I could wear some off-shoulder dress this summer. Had Freya Deco Strapless earlier, but I've sold it like 2 years ago, after using once or twice.
Right now I've got new Corin Karolina multiway, I will test it soon, but I think I will look after used Panache Evie. I had an opportunity to try on Evie 30FF, but it was way to small in cup.
But oh well, I've made quite an offtopic right now :D

This is my first moulded bra that generally fits. I used to wearing bras that made of lace so I feel the cups are a little bit too hard, but it's also very robust. The band is much tighter than I thought, it feels like a 30-band. The center gore is about 2.5 cm wide and it's the bare maximum for my slightly close boobs.

Summary: Suitable for someone who usually wears a 30:7, FoB, average or wide set.

Edit: Now I think the center gore is too wide for my boobs during ovaluation, and I get slightly quad boobs too.

  14. Underwired Bra Maya (104042)

The whole bra is made from stretchy lace - especially the upper part. I like the pretty pattern. This reminds me a bit of the Panache Andorra. The fabric could be a bit sturdier for my taste.

The straps are rather far apart in the front, attach at a weird angle and do dig a bit into my Tail of Spence if I slouch. The straps are not fully adjustable but a good length for me.

I suspect that the cup runs slightly small as I am usually a 70G. This also means the band is slightly big (I can immediately hook it on the tightest eyes) and I will probably take it in at some point.

The wires are definitely narrower than the Andorra and almost perfect width for me. The gore could be a bit wider but it's not a problem.

    Overall happy with this bra.
The distance between the straps is intended for wider shoulders than mine, which causes some distortion in the cups.
Other than that, it offers enough support and coverage to be comfortable for me.

Frankly, I'm underwhelmed with this model.
It's the only decent-fitting nude-colored bra I currently have, but as soon as I find a better one, it'll be replaced.

The main issue I'm having with it is the contruction: the cups consist of two separate layers of fabric (a slightly padded inner one, and a thin outer one) that are only connected at the seams along the outer edge of the cups, which means smoothing out some pretty big annoying wrinkles every time I put it on.
The sizing is pretty weird for this one too: the cups run so big that I need a cup size smaller than with other models from the same manufacturer, and they still feel kinda large (another cup size down would have been too small though).

The straps would need to be set closer together to better fit my shoulder width, and I'd also prefer a more subtle cut that attracts less attention than the cups extending into tapered straps.

This bra is super pretty, and has such a vibrant neon pink colour! It would be a great option for summer.
Regarding the construction, the cup is made from the parts, connected via one horizontal seam. Despite that, it doesn't give a pointy shape, it's somewhere between round and pointy. The bottom part of the cup is made from a stretchy but thick material, which feels a bit plasticky, but is not scratchy. The top part of the cup is also stretchy, made from stretch lace on the outside and mesh on the inside. The cups are quite narrow at 15.5cm, and the gore and wing are relatively tall. ... The wire is I'd say medium strength, not as hard as Panache wires but not flimsy.
The band is made from one layer of powermesh which feels quite stretchy but supportive. The straps are just half adjustable, but thankfully both halfs are elastic. Overall the materials seem sturdy and the quality is good. I haven't worn this or washed this often to be able to judge how well the fabrics will hold.
About the fit, the cups have average projection, not particularly projected at the bottom of the cup and they give a quite minimised shape overall. The stretch lace at the top can accommodate top fullness. For me, the bottom of the cup does not have enough projection and the cups slide downwards during the day. The gore is also on the wider side, and for me became uncomfortable with wear - which is quite unusual for me as I'm not close set. I imagine this would not work for someone who needs a narrow gore. The size is not ideal for me, I sized up in the band to get a fit in the cup, but the band does not ride up despite being a 40 instead of the 34/36 that I need.
