I read somewhere that the cups on this bra run a size large. I have this bra in both 30FF and 30G and find that there's slightly more projection in the 30G, but both sizes work on me.
The thin straps on this bra are a welcome change to my bradrobe. I usually have straps that are 0.75 inches wide and those are not the sexiest to wear under a spaghetti strap tank top. The straps on this bra are as thin as the straps on my old VS and La Senza bras. It's the best of both worlds because I get a cup and band that is better ...fitted and also thin cute straps. The only down side is that for ladies with very heavy breasts, this will absolutely kill your shoulders. Another point is that the straps are not fully adjustable, so if you need to wear it crisscross style, it may not be long enough. When I wear it in crisscross style, the straps are so tight it pulls my breasts all the way up to my collarbone level and the back band rides up tremendously. I'm 5'6 with a proportionate torso and never have problems with strap length, but I think Gossard may not have been very accommodating with strap length when proposing this bra as a multiway. It works well with the straps worn the regular way. Read more 123 more words
This is a very cute bra. The wires are too wide, but they're soft enough that it isn't uncomfortable. This bra doesn't fit very much like the lace super boost. The cups don't have as much space at the center top, and the straps are much firmer. But I believe that is mostly to do with the material being firmer.
the back of the band is very cute and interesting, it doesn't seem to serve much purpose, but it's a nice detail. The straps in this version are partially convertible, another nice detail; However because the straps are so firm and short it isn't much use to people with taller torsos.
Me: avg projection, even fullness, wide-rooted, wide-set
So, this bra is something... else. The cups are definitely too small. Breast tissue escapes out the sides and there's quadboobing on top. I'm constantly having to readjust and scoop my boobs back in. When they do stay, I have to admit the effect is... pretty obvious cleavage. Date-night cleavage. Which is a plus, I guess. It just makes this bra a bit impractical.
Another thing, the band on this bra, while very cute, is super thin and dainty. I feel like I'm going to break it just by getting it clasped... I don't see how that can be even remotely supportive. And it's not.
Beautiful bra, no support, amazing cleavage, barely-there band, cool design. For every pro there is a big con.
I'm pretty sure these Gossard plunges are just perfect with me - except that I think that 30DD would be better or at least just as good. I love the feeling of this bra and am impressed at how snug the band is with just one clasp. Plus with the band the way it is will make it super easy to take the band in a lot. Also!!! This is a multi-way bra which I think is awesome. I really think this bra is one of them that I could wear showing under other clothes (maybe..)!
I have this bra in beige and purple in this size. The beige is definitely taller in the cup as well as on the sides. The wires are also slightly longer (by about a quarter inch). I'm full in the middle and I find that the cup closes a bit sooner on the beige than on the purple. The differences aren't major enough for me to prefer one over the other.
Edit: the hook/clasp on the multiway strap broke. IT'S PLASTIC O__O. Wrote an adventure http://bra.pe/ABOj/
My favourite thing about this bra is how minimalist the design is. The straps are thin, which works under thin strapped tank tops. The band is not your conventional solid band at the back, but instead parts into 2 thin straps that meet again where there hooks are. The 30G gives me a lot more projection than my 30FF bras in this style. There is, however, more side coverage. Not sure which fit I prefer so I ended up keeping bras is both sizes.
My only gripe about Gossard Superboost bras, is that the straps don't adjust nearly long enough to wear comfortably as a multiway. The straps only adjust halfway.
I am too projected for this bra and get wrinkling at the bottom. I wear it in the raceback configuration for wearing with low cut dresses as it give lovely cleavage and doesn't show very much due to the deep plunge.
