I love this bra! The fit is amazing. Sure, the band is too loose on me but everything else about the bra is perfect. Great spacing, great cup depth, strap width, cup width, wire length, etc... I've got high set boobs and this bra does not cause gaping at the top of the cup what so ever. Despite its level of coverage. I know a lot of people say they get major torpedo-boob from this bra but, I don't have that issue. I'm basically equally balanced (equally full on bottom and top), and I get a very natural appearance that I find to be totally acceptable for normal everyday wear. I hope I can find more bras like this one, or that Gossard releases another one like it in the future.

Ive been wanting this bra for some time now. I had it once long time ago in a wrong size. I saw this one in a decent price so I gave it a go.
Obviously as it is a Gossard its well made. Materials are good quality and feels luxurious as it is the VIP collection.
My usual Gossard size is 32DD, so the 30 band is bit on the tigh side and if id decide to keep the bra id need to get it in 32. Surprisingly, the cups fit me well with only some wrinkling on the smaller side. However the main issue with this bra is the shape that it gives.. I was expecitng that as the cut already shows the shape but also I was quietly hoping that Ill like it - but I dont. I am one of these who likes rounded shape. It doesnt look horrible, but not good enough for me.

This is a very pretty, retro bra that I managed to get cheap (99 pence on eBay? What a steal.). It fits technically, but the shape it gives is horrible. Lovely bra, great fit, but...super torpedo! Looks great with vintage-style dresses and tops, but looks out of place under a regular t-shirt. I'm projected and FOB, for reference.

Visually this is a very beautiful bra. Despite having lots of details and being sturdy it's simple and delicate (in a good way). It's not the easiest bra to wear due to the half-padding and the stitching at the apex showing through clothes that aren't thick and patterned. It's also pointy but I happen to like that shape, so it's not a problem. The neckline is a cross between a plunge and a full coverage bra. I wouldn't recommend this bra if you are very FOT since the cup is closed and has very little stretch. I've only worn it once but nothing chafed or poked me, ... it's very soft and comfortable. The gateway back is my favorite due to the two thick straps. It feels firm but I am wearing it on the first hooks b/c it's too big for me. Maybe because this is my sister size and the band could stand to be tighter but I felt like the straps had too much stretch. I plan on altering the band to see if this can be remedied.

I've recently had a large bra haul of older season styles I've always wanted to try. Retrolution was one of them!
Positively reviewed by missunderpinnings, 2cakesonaplate and lecurvykitten, I've had my eye on this bra for almost two years. Too expensive though (it was a VIP item) but now I found it for £13, I couldn't resist 😁

Got it in two sizes + two colors, trying to combine the reviews:

While I'm not necessarily into cone boobs / pointy bras, I do like the design and 'retroness' of this (aptly named) Gossard model. Wasn't sure if I could rock this style but very curious to try it out! ... I actually prefer the black color but as I don't have any nude-ish bras and not all sizes were available, I decided to try both black and blush.

I had heard this bra ran small both in the cups and the band?
My average size is 30GG and normally I'd try 32G in Gossard. Here I sister sized to 34G (blush) and 36FF (black - no 34G available). Both bands are way too large though - definitely need to shorten them. Im not very surprised but a 32 (or even 30) band would have been much better.

In the blush (34G) there's some wrinkling on my smaller breast. Perhaps a 32G would have been fine after all, although I do think there would be cutting in on my left breast (this bra is kind of closed on top).

Cup-wise, the 36FF seems to fit a bit better than the 34G? Less wrinkling and the strap placement is less wide. The straps themselves are very stretchy and I need to adjust them pretty short. Strap width is so comfy and even if it looks a bit industrial, it fits the aesthetics of the bra imo. However, the area where the bra cups meet the straps is quite tall and wide. Chafes my armpits and will peek out from under clothes.

About the shape, well it is definitely POINTY: especially from the side.. No surprise, but I'm not sure I can get used to this look? Very different from other bras I own (so yeah it does add to my bra repertoire 😇). But I'm not sure how often I would wear them as the shape it gives is slightly out of my comfort zone.

However, under the right clothes this bra is actually pretty awesome! I've added a couple pictures under different outfits. Keep in mind it does need a tight / structured dress or sturdy fabric to hide the pointiness.

Guessing I'll keep the black (alter the band) and return the blush. Unless someone on here wants it?

This is a strange bra, the strangest I have tried so far. It looked like some kind of harness. Amazingly incredibly comfortable. But the pointiest silhouette I've gotten from a bra that actually fits fairly well. The back is so NOT sexy on me. It's fitting great and no back fat. But it hits me in a way that I look more like a block of wood than usual. Not giving up on Gossard but afraid they are not going to no to fit my shape at all.

Not a bad fit and very comfortable. Definitely a pointy retro look. I like it, but I prefer a bit rounder look under most clothes. Might keep this one, not sure. Definitely high quality and well made. Fabric is soft and silky.
