I fit ok in this bra but it's just a tad empty on top, especially on my smaller boob's side. So I'm not keeping it (it's being sold on here). The lack of breast weight to fully fill up and hold down the cups (my fault) makes the bra extra pointy and it looks somewhat weird from the sides. The bra has an older sort of shape to it, not a circle but more triangular. While I can find that attractive, I probably would only get an appealing old fashioned look if I sized down a cup. The seams definitely make this ...a hard to wear bra with most clothes, so it's more of a "sexy time bra".
Band is tight, more like a 28". I measure 26" below and 33" around the breasts (26F) but like 28s and 30s---the band was nice on me. The cups? Probably run true to size; this cup being just a little big on me can be expected if we look at sister sizes. I really do love the band and the bra itself is super pretty, but just not made for my shape. Someone with more projection and larger boobs would fit better, say a 28F/FF.
The top of the cups also try to encapsulate your breast tissue. This could be an issue for some people. It wasn't as plunge-y and revealing as I had expected.
Worth noting: No push up padding. Not sheer. Lightly padded cups with lace on top. Read more 143 more words
Great retro shape, absolutely gorgeous to look at. This is probably one of my best-fitting bras. The band is snug but not too snug and the straps feel like they're doing their job. Cups may give a pointy shape to larger breasts, but they're nicely rounded for me.
Great fit for tear drop shaped busts (fuller on the bottom). I sometimes have a problem with cups coming up too high & cups being too round in shape, as the sizes I wear are designed for "full figures" despite the actual size not being large.
This bra gives a "classic" shape, which I prefer to the over-padded, overly round look. It looks better on my figure to have that shape of cup, probably because it's closer to my actual breast shape. I wouldn't recommend this bra for breasts that are full on top though.
The band runs a bit small; the 30 band barely stretches to 28". The cups are spaced closely together & have a nice angle to them, so it gives a good lift.
The straps are also thin (yea!), which is hard to find in DD+ bras.
Unfortunately, a horrible fit. I love my Ooh La La in ivory in 30DD, but slowly it is running small. So I thought, hey let's test the next size, but this time in black. Both disappointing. This bra is much more pointy and big, I can't fill it, perhaps I am between sizes. The inner cup nearly cuts into my boob, and the padding in synthetic instead of cotton like the ivory.
normally tends to cut in at the inner side of boobs, but not for me. The most comfortable bra i have, no itching at the underband. Also the cups are very open at the armpit, so the fat there moves into the cup!
