  1. Keira Banded Underwire (6090)

I really love this bra overall except for a couple of things. I really need a band smaller than a 36 and I need to size a cup up I believe. My breasts are heavy and splay to the sides a bit and this bra picks them up and brings them front and center. It's not exactly cutesy but I reach for it regularly. Very supportive for bottom heavy breasts and very comfortable.

The Keira is a five part bra made out of a satiny nylon/polyester. It is incredibly comfy! It's like I'm wearing nothing. Even the straps are comfy, although they have a subtle floral design that just looks weird and blotchy from a distance.

That leads me to my first issue with the bra: it's really frumpy. I've seen worse, but suffice to say, the Keira is not a sexy bra. The bra is also quite full coverage. It doesn't work under all my necklines. I also get some wrinkling at the top of the cups because my full on bottom boobs just don't go up that far.

The major ... problem with this bra, though, is that the band is very loose. Seriously, I have a 40 inch snug/ 39 inch pulled very tightly underbust and the 38 band is too loose. It fit me fine at first, but throughout the day, the back slowly rid up.

I'm probably not going to keep this one, but I will definitely try a smaller band because, appearances aside, it is so darn comfy.

I really liked how sturdy this bra is unfortunately this bra has no stretch in the cup and is sewn so sturdily that it's about the same size as the old Cabarnet 38H I have that is stretchy. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> If you normally have very stretchy cups in a favorite bra your going to have to go up a few cup sizes in this bra. Otherwise the band is super sturdy and feels comfy since I measure at a 37 I order 38's and I have this band on the second hook and it fit snuggly with enough room for two fingers. Unfortunately since the cups were smaller in this bra I could not get the gore to lay flat. If you have narrow roots I think someone would find this bra to be to wide in the wire and bottom half of the cup. Not a lot of room for the side or top of a full bust I think also.

I really want to like this bra, but I think the cup is just too small. Before I knew about lifting and scooping, the cups fit ok. The center gore wasn't flat, but it was good enough. Well, now that I know better, I'm seeing all the ways it doesn't fit: definite quad-boob, underwires too short in armpit, center gore, etc.

However, this bra is still super comfy. Nice supportive band. Cups are a nice satin fabric. Straps are ok. I would definitely wear this bra if I didn't have any better fitting ones.

For a larger busted woman, this is the best strapless longline bra I needed a strapless bra for a dress that was off the shoulder and it worked great. Also, I never thought I would ever be able to wear anything strapless in my bra size but this bra fits so well I can now wear strapless tops and dresses.
Note band run tight and I had to go up a band size. Cups are very generous, I normally wear a 40K and the FF cups fit perfect.

This bra is too big in the cup for me. I am very bottom-heavy and the Alice FullCup is cut for somebody who is top-heavy. I don't fill out the upper part of the cup.

I only tried this bra brand-new, so I cannot say how far the band will stretch. But the material looked very sturdy and unlikely to give. I even had some trouble closing the band and I can understand how some people would go up in bandsize with this bra.

The Alice FullCup 6041 is definitely a lot less stretchy than the Goddess Rose 6080.

The cut of the Goddess Alice is similar to the Panache Andorra.

This is a comfortable bra. I wear it around the house when I'm just lounging around and don't want to go braless. The band is a little bit to big but the cups fit nicely. I think I bought it when I was bloated because I've had to put it on the second hooks since a month after I bought it. It could also be stretching but I'm not sure. It washes well by hand or in the washing machine.

This is a very full bra that managed to contain my boobs. I actually have a 48FF but the programme said that was not a valid size. The Goddess386 has very deep boned sides and a four row, four column back that also provides plenty of support. Considering the weight that this bra has to hold the straps are rather narrow although the limited stretch does help reduce bounce. I would thoroughly recommend this bra to women with really large heavy boobs.

  9. Jayne Soft Cup Bra (6002)

    Good bras, good support!
    It offers maximum coverage.
There is a practical metal strap adjusting in the front. You can adjust shoulder strap up or down.
For me the cups are little small. The band fits loose but it's ok with the first row.

I'm more than a DD cup (G) but could only buy this cup size on Amazon. As expected, it is a bit tight but bearable. I'd go up a band size for future bras as I'm wide in the midriff area. I love the shiny satin look and the 1950s style. This has rounded cups not pointed, but supports "the girls" without underwire.

I purchased this bra in 2013 but for various reasons returned it to the retailer a few days later.

For starters, it was tight in the band and small in the cup. Yes it was new and may have simply required some break-in time but there was a design aspect that I had not paid much attention to when I tried it on at the retailer. I did not where it on my way home and so didn't notice this design feature until after dinner that night. This feature was a sort of bridge between the cups, extra material that would seem to ensure that there was little chance of developing an east-west appearance. This bridge material gave this bra a rather matronly appearance and so this plus the over all tightness of the bra compelled me to return it.

This all happened before I discovered UK bras and Bratabase so I do not measurement data or pictures.

    Didn't fit

ORIGINAL REVIEW AND PHOTOS (July 2019):
I'm looking for a strapless bra to wear with a bridesmaid dress. Most strapless bras are made with molded cups that cater to a shallow shape so they don't work for me.

The Goddess Adelaide Strapless Bra is made with seamed cups. It has boning in each cup that helps give it a shape that works with my breast tissue instead of against it. Unfortunately, the size (34G US/34F UK) doesn't quite work for me. The band is too big and I only expect that to get worse as I break it in further. Ideally, I would try a 32H or even a ... 32G (US size). Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to come in either of those sizes.

    UPDATE (November 2021):
So, I actually did wear this bra in nude with the bridesmaid dress and I still have it. It ultimately was the best fit of all of the strapless bras that I tried. I can't say I wore it again after that event but I still have it, so I figured I'd see how it fits now. I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and measuring (UK size) at a 34G or 34GG. That means this bra should be 2-3 cup sizes smaller than what I currently need. The band fits but feels tight due to the fit of the cup. The gore floats 1" off my sternum. The underwire gets pushed about 1.5" below my IMF and is probably about 1.5" too wide for my frame/shape. Therefore, there is empty space in the cups that tries to wrinkle and crease, but the boning in the cups tries to keep the cup out. It's a very interesting effect. It is very hard to swoop/scoop in this bra because of the cup construction. If I could swoop/scoop properly, I would certainly get a quad effect at the top of the cups. Instead, my tissue tries to sink into the cups and gives the illusion that there isn't spill over. I don't have a lot of use for a strapless bra (especially in the pandemic-era), so it's not a big loss that the "can make it work" bra is now a "doesn't fit" bra.

    • Panache Evie comes in seamed cups, but they are slightly padded I believe. It does go up to H cup.

    • My favorite strapless was 42G - Elomi » Smoothing Molded Strapless (1230) but it is different. You could try the Elomi Maria Strapless Bra (8500) as it is a similar shape to the goddess.

    • What about the Bravissimo contour strapless? I just bought it second hand, and works really well. I am quite projected, and while moulded bras can do the trick, this one works way better!

Overall one of my favorite bras, but the band fabric can be scratchy. The band tends to stretch out as it's worn and will ride up in the back. Gore does not completely tack to my sternum. Wires are wide and end up in my armpits with slight wrinkling. I could probably do better with a 34GG in this model.

Wouldn't work for full on top. Straps are at the absolute farthest - so if you need longer straps, it wouldn't work. Shape, for me, is excellent. It is a tad too wide at the gore - but most bras are for me - I can fit one finger between my breasts. The cups are medium in width - not wide like many in larger band/cup sizes. If I put on a few pounds, it can pinch a bit on the outer edges.

Best fitting bra I've found so far. Wire goes very far underneath the arm, but it's high enough that it doesn't poke me. It is HIGH, though, and I could see it bothering some people. It has a pretty narrow gore that nearly sits flush against my sternum, which is about as good as it gets for breasts as close-set as mine. I can fit a single finger in between the gore and my skin and that's it. Not perfect, but the only alternatives are to uniboob it or wear plunge bras. My tissue is too soft to stay put in a plunge, so this is the next best thing. I personally also have a little bit of gapping at the very top of the cup where the straps connect, but not enough to be super bothersome.

This bra is very supportive and has big, full coverage ,(I guess 4 part cups although there are side support panels too!) The material the band is made of is kind of stiff and itchy , just like my@ Goddess Rose (6080) Banded Underwire. As for the cups , I'll just say they are 4-part with a side support panel. I think it's kind of lame that there are only 'two' hooks in the back for such a big ,full cupped bra!?! I probably won't wear it very often because it's kind of 'industrial strength'. But that's ok because I only spent a little under $20 for this 2nd hand bra from a seller on poshmark.com. I'll just say the@ Keira (6090) isn't pretty but it is pretty supportive! I'd also like to say that it, imho, gives my boobs a weird shape. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

This bra is the worst one out of the 4 I got from Breakout Bras grab bag. My guess is that something about the scaling in this size range is wonky. Basically everything's weird. The straps are almost too short (I'm 5'4", wtf?) The cups are really tall and really wide so I wrinkle in the middle and on top and yet it slides down and out of place so I also get some wrinkles in the bottom but it's also weirdly tight/constricting at the apex. All these wrinkles are absurd. The materials are also the least soft and honestly feel really rough immediately. The gore is lopsided and pulled towards my larger breast.

It looks good and the band fits fine but that's all. In every other way this bra absolutely does not work for me
