Very structured with little ability to adujust. The wires seem to bend but they go right back to flat in minutes, the boning in cups it excellent for shaping anf support but you'll have to have or like the precise shape they offer. Seems VERY supportive.....IF you can get a perfect fit. No immediate projection. The band is very wide, which typically I don't mind but it's so stiff. Straps are super long with spots to bring them forward an inch in the front as well as long enough to cross them in the back. Without straps bra stays up exceptionally well. Maybe good for an event where comfort isn't a priority. It is attractive tho.

My favourite day to day bra is the goddess michelle, and a number of the qualities I love about Michelle are also evident in adelaide: a comfortable wire that isn't too firm, making it instant friends with my squish, pretty lace that isn't too frilly, and a supportive but comfortable band. Michelle was made specifically for small cup/large band, though, and I don't believe Adelaide was, so that's kind of where the comparison stops. Adelaide might be the first strapless bra I've seen that isn't molded or even lined; it's thin and soft, with a lace band across the ... top of each cup. Giving each cup shape are two pieces of boning that curve outward when worn, helping the bra maintain its shape when worn. It's an interesting bit of engineering, and not uncomfortable at all, since the boning is flexible, but the cups are VERY tall. For someone with taller roots that probably isn't a problem, but I have quite short roots, so the top of the cup gaped and wrinkled. The wrinkling wouldn't have happened were the cup molded, but the gaping would have happened regardless. There also isn't nearly enough immediate projection at the wire, which is one of the most important things I look for in a bra. The comfort of the cup, and the softness of the band and underwire compared to a brand like panache or even Freya, means I probably could have survived wearing it, but I'd like to find something better than "surviving".

ORIGINAL REVIEW AND PHOTOS (July 2019):
I'm looking for a strapless bra to wear with a bridesmaid dress. Most strapless bras are made with molded cups that cater to a shallow shape so they don't work for me.

The Goddess Adelaide Strapless Bra is made with seamed cups. It has boning in each cup that helps give it a shape that works with my breast tissue instead of against it. Unfortunately, the size (34G US/34F UK) doesn't quite work for me. The band is too big and I only expect that to get worse as I break it in further. Ideally, I would try a 32H or even a ... 32G (US size). Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to come in either of those sizes.

    UPDATE (November 2021):
So, I actually did wear this bra in nude with the bridesmaid dress and I still have it. It ultimately was the best fit of all of the strapless bras that I tried. I can't say I wore it again after that event but I still have it, so I figured I'd see how it fits now. I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and measuring (UK size) at a 34G or 34GG. That means this bra should be 2-3 cup sizes smaller than what I currently need. The band fits but feels tight due to the fit of the cup. The gore floats 1" off my sternum. The underwire gets pushed about 1.5" below my IMF and is probably about 1.5" too wide for my frame/shape. Therefore, there is empty space in the cups that tries to wrinkle and crease, but the boning in the cups tries to keep the cup out. It's a very interesting effect. It is very hard to swoop/scoop in this bra because of the cup construction. If I could swoop/scoop properly, I would certainly get a quad effect at the top of the cups. Instead, my tissue tries to sink into the cups and gives the illusion that there isn't spill over. I don't have a lot of use for a strapless bra (especially in the pandemic-era), so it's not a big loss that the "can make it work" bra is now a "doesn't fit" bra.

    • Panache Evie comes in seamed cups, but they are slightly padded I believe. It does go up to H cup.

    • My favorite strapless was 42G - Elomi ยป Smoothing Molded Strapless (1230) but it is different. You could try the Elomi Maria Strapless Bra (8500) as it is a similar shape to the goddess.

    • What about the Bravissimo contour strapless? I just bought it second hand, and works really well. I am quite projected, and while moulded bras can do the trick, this one works way better!

This bra is so close to perfect it makes me sad that it literally doesn't come in the right size for me. I am usually a 32FF/32H (UK/US).

This comes in my sister size of 34F/34G, but the band on that was clearly too big for me. It doesn't come in a 32FF/32H, but I figured I would give the smallest 32 band a try anyway. The smallest cup it comes in is a 32G/32I. I tried it on the outside chance it would work and it almost does.

The band feels good - snug enough to be supportive, but not too tight. The cups are a nice shape thanks ... the the seams/boning in them. My tissue fills the bottom decently (thanks to good projection at the wire), but I can't fill out the top. I think I truly need a cup size smaller. Unfortunately, it literally does not come in the size I need. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I'm honestly considering adding some padding to make up the difference, lol.

If anyone knows of a similar bra that does come in 32FF/32H, please let me know.
