My Freya Urban Echo Padded Plunge in 28E was the first Freya Padded style that worked for me, but I haven't been able to find this same fit in any other style yet. Therefore, when I had the opportunity to snag the same bra in a size down, in 28DD, for a ridiculously cheap price, I decided to go for it. Luckily, this bra doesn't measure that much smaller than the 28E, and thanks to the plunge construction, it is definitely very wearable on me even though technically I marked it "doesn't fit."

For some reason, the band on this one measures a bit bigger than my ... 28E, but it works out since the cups are smaller, so it feels about the same. Compared to the 28E, the cups are not much shallower, but they are narrower, so when worn, I feel that the wires are a bit short at the outer cup. The cup height is also noticeably shorter, and the shorter height combined with slightly shallower cups makes it cut into my upper tissue slightly. However, the shorter cups and wires are the most noticeable differences between 28DD on me and 28E, as the cup depth is not much of an issue.

While I felt like the 28E fit like a Comexim Standard Plunge in 60H, this feels a bit different from the Comexim Plunge in 60G because of the different proportions and the deeper plunge on the Freya. However, I can get away with the Comexim 60G despite too-short wires and a slightly too-shallow cup, so this is a similar situation--it's a bit small, but definitely not so small that the fit problems make it unwearable. Something about this type of plunge cut makes the sizing a bit more flexible for me.

The appearance of the bra also looks very much like a Comexim. The print of this bra is white-based with graphite grey and soft pink florals and swirls, similar to a coloring book page. The print and color is very similar to the Comexim Jasmine, which has dark grey botanical sketches on a pink ground, and both share similar graphite wide elastic. The cups are lined with soft batting like all of Freya's Padded (not Molded) styles. The band is made of very firm printed powermesh, so the print goes throughout the entire bra. The trim is graphite grey crochet lace at the upper cup, similar to the one on Comexim Blue Spring. The overall color scheme is similar to Jasmine, Brigitte, Princess, and Matthiola. Thus, if you like the aesthetic of these Comexim styles but aren't typically drawn to Freya's prints, you might enjoy this bra!

The only thing "Freya-esque" on this bra that I feel Comexim would never do are the pink foldover ribbon segments at the center gore and straps, instead of standard pink bows, and the odd triangular metal charm at the center gore. A bit weird, but not terribly offensive. The inclusion of additional lace detailing where the cradle connects to the wings adds some nice interest and ties the whole look together. Despite the name, Urban Echo is surprisingly feminine and pretty. I highly recommend this if you love Comexim Padded Plunge styles!
