Another surprise: after 32F - Cleo » Ellis (7211) failed me and 32F - Cleo » Melissa (6991) somehow fitted me perfectly, this one also fits, altough it's one band and one cup smaller! It is also one of the cutes bras ever, with the lily / teal colourway I simply adore.
I was unsure about the Freya Trudie when I saw it online, the combination of polka dots and flowers looked to be a little much! However when I received it I completely changed my mind, in person she's ever so pretty, cute and fun, and looks great on. I love the colours, especially the mint green straps, I've wasted a lot of time just looking at it! Appearance-wise it is one of my favourite bras.
Considering it's an unpadded bra I think it gives a lovely shape, uplifted but natural, and the support is very good too. It does make my boobs look ever so slightly (and I do ...mean only a tiny bit) pointy, but as soon as I have clothes on over the top it smoothes right out and looks very nice. I personally haven't had a problem with the seams or embroidery showing through even tight t-shirts, but very thin clothes could be a problem, or if you're someone who is particularly conscious about things like that.
As far as fit goes; my ribcage measures 29" and I think I probably could have gone for a 28 band, as I can stretch the it out a good 3-4 inches from my back. I do also find that the underwires are extremely pokey with very little padding, on my sternum and under my arms. I am unsure as to whether this is because I need to go up in the cup, or whether my ribcage flairs out and my sternum is especially bony, or whether the bra just needs a little more breaking in (I am very new to the world of lingerie and correctly fitting bras and am finding myself on a steep learning curve !) Because of this I can only comfortably wear this bra for about 6 hours before it starts to get quite painful.
Overall, the bra is beautiful and really good quality, and gives a nice shape and support. However, in this size, I think my fit may need a little tweaking.
The projection on this bra is nice and deep, and the cups are narrow. Great for me if not for the gore, which is just the wrong height. If it were higher, there would be no stabbing. If it were lower, there would be no stabbing. Alas, it is just on the bone.
The only other issue I've had with this one is the top lace. It's too stiff to mold to my shape correctly. Other than that, this is one of my unlined Freyas that I will wear under t-shirts because it's almost invisible.
Whenever I put this bra on initially, it is very comfortable. Every now and then, something will feel just a bit off later on in the day, but I can't put my finger on what. I feel like this bra pushes my boobs a little too much to the center. It is not that I need wider wires, just that the structure of the cups is such that it pushes together as well as up, which is not necessarily my preference. This may be more desirable with a lower cut shirt, but otherwise it actually makes my breasts look smaller. The fabric is soft, but doesn't seem as ...breathable as other bras I've had. Otherwise, the fit is seemingly great, and it's a very pretty bra. I can't tell if it has stretched out in the short time I have worn it, or if it has always been a little big, but I have already had to switch to the middle hook(after about a month of owning it). I should be wearing a 28 band, so take that as you will(although in the beginning I could wear it on the loosest hook with no issue). Read more 87 more words
I love the look of this bra but it just doesn't fit. The wires don't really encase all of my breast tissue yet I can't fill the cup. I think the shape probably works great for more narrow breasts than mine. I love the material! Black with white polka dots and orchid lace? Yes please! Just needs a shallower wider cup! I really would love to find a Freya style that worked for me.
This bra is very cute, and I think I like Freya's satin fabric better than their mesh. I get a bit of wrinkling in the top of the cup on my smaller side, but otherwise the fit and shape are excellent. I also love the color combination. Definitely not a t-shirt bra for me, but very comfortable even for very long days.
This is a very pretty bra, with black and white polka dots and a sheer top part of the cup with light blue embroidered flowers. The first time I wore it was to work, so I knew it would not have to do much, but I was nervous about not having broken it in yet.
It's fairly comfortable. It's the only Freya bra I own, besides the Deco, so I don't have much to compare it to. It has pretty narrow cups, and as my boobs are rather wide, it's odd to see them so forward, but under the right top, I think it could like nice. It does give sort of a pointy-boob look, but that could also be because I am so used to Panache and their shapes.
Overall, not a bad bra. Cute enough and supportive.
Although this bra is very pretty I don't find it comfortable at all. Some days it is ok, and other days I can't wait to take it off - my back gets quite sore and i am always adjusting it, pulling on the back, tightening and untightening the straps trying to get it to be more comfortable. The main problem is that the back is too big (i don't think this style is made in a 28 so i thought 30 would be ok but have decided I should really stick to the 28 backs). Even the cups are not quite right though, but I can't quite put my finger on why not. I often find freya bras don't fit me properly (although this may be that in Australia it is hard to find someone who stocks the 28s so i tend to try on the 30f).
