    Didn't fit

30F/FF narrow and tall roots, projected, full on top

Freya half cups, why do you vex me so? Admittedly it's mostly my fault. I knew the 30E would be too small. I just love the style and want it to fit so badly. I've tried 30E and 30FF. The 30FF is too wide and the 30E spills over the top of the cup. Hopefully I will be able to try this in a 30F someday.

This is my third Totally Tartan Longline. I went with a 30FF for a fuller look. The cups on the 32FF gives a more relaxed look. The band totally doesn't fit on the 32FF but wearing it as a halter, I kind of wanted my boobs to just sit and settle in the cups. The 30FF is less loose in the band but still loose. Both feel very comfortable. I love wearing these bras under low back or side cut tank tops and loose shirts. It's a cute way to let your bra peek out and doesn't look like a conventional bra because of the longline aspect. I'd buy more if they had other colours.

Another Freya longline I wanted to love but it was too big in the band and too small in the cup for me. There might have been a brief period it would have fit but I unfortunately lost an inch off my underbust and gained a cup size right after I got this.

  4. I bought this bra because I have a thing for little buttons instead of bows! Normally I wouldn't have gone for the longline, but I'm not overly fond of the colours in the other versions. I'm all for more tartan bras, but the pink is not my thing. A stripey blue pattern, I am much more into.
Despite the longline aspect needing some getting used to this bra is actually really comfy, while being tight enough on it's loosest set of hooks! So far I've only worn it for an evening at home test-run, but my first impressions are great.
The bad part is, I'm FOB and projected. I fill ... out the bottom part of the bra better than a lot of other bras, but I'd say there's still not quite enough immediate projection for me. And of course my other near-constant problem also reared it's ugly head-- the gaping in the top part. When I swoop and scoop, it moulds my boobs into a sort of peculiar shape, and then once they've settled for a bit the gaping starts. It is sadly pretty clear the shape of my boobs is at war with the shape of this bra.

    Update 16 Oct 14
Tissue migration, maybe weight gain. I fill out the top of the cup now! It's not the best fit-- with narrower wires and more forward projection it would be perfect, but it achieves the affect of squishing my breast tissue into the shape it wants in a pretty comfy way, all things considered. Really happy to say this bra works for me now, even if it's not ideal.
Also, for some reason I didn't mention this in my original review (but it has been a thing since the beginning), but I want to echo every one else who said the part of the band under the cups bunches up. Considering my options to add some firmness to the fabric there.

    34G

    Didn't fit

I typically go for a 32GG, but had to sister size to a 34G to try this longline.
The 34 back just isn't supportive enough and the G cups is so very small on me that I think a GG would be too small too, so I think I would really need a 32H if they made one.

The bra itself is a pain.
There's no support for the extra fabric of the longline, so it annoyingly folds over itself.
The back is difficult to do up and very uncomfortable.
The 34 back stretched out bigger than 36 inches.

This is one of 2 bras I have in this same style and size. I keep one at my apartment and one at my parents house. I can wear it as a bra or as a top with light a jacket/sweater over it. I really like that with the casual appearance of this bra, it can be styled to work into my wardrobe as both as functional support garment and as a fashion accessory.

I bought 2 of these bras in the same size and they fit exactly the same.

I purposely bought these in a larger band size hoping that the wings would be higher/longer than in my usual band size. My intention was to wear these as a crop top under those tank tops with the very low dipping arm holes that are so popular this summer. The back rides up and actually doesn't even come in contact with my back where the hooks are, but the fact that it's a longline style means that the band is wide/tall enough to compensate for some of the lost stability of a ... too loose band. For its intended usage, it works well. As a bra, however, if I were looking for more support, I would size down to a 28 band while keeping the cup volume constant.

The best thing about this bra is the straps are stretchy and supple and feel like a dream on your shoulders without looking like granny straps. I will be bold and make a generalization that all the straps on my Freya bras are beyond comfortable, but I would have to say the straps on this longline are even better.

Very cute. I slightly quadboob. The gore really digs in a lot, so I've gently bent the wires in the center outward. But the straps are really soft and the band is soft! It's a very attractive bra that doesn't have flowery patterns or anything. It has a nice denim look.

I think I could get addicted to longlines.

I bought this one knowing the bra's shape was a mismatch for mine, but the joy of soft tissue means I have relatively biddable/obedient breasts, and there's something about the denim pinstripe with wooden buttons that just called to me. Perhaps the pared-back "femininity" of it? Not sure, but it is nice to have a bra that isn't all lace and flowers and bows.

The cups run wide and shallow; however, despite the shallowness, they allow for some measure of immediate projection at the base of the cup. The cups are too shallow at the gore for me, so my inner fullness ... pushes at the gore and shoves it downward during the day; thankfully, the longline's broad, extremely stable band simply refuses to allow the gore to move downwards and the bra remains comfy.

Typical of the Freya padded halfcups, the cups are very open on top.

The material of the bra is lovely, soft to the touch and firm, but giving. I find the width of the band incredibly comfortable: it's tricky to get the wires sitting in the right place on first donning the bra, as shimmying it up into the inframammary fold isn't so easy with a few inches of band gripping your torso.

The band bunches up at the base during wear; the band is cut longer than any of my other bras by a good 10+cm, so it's cut to allow for the ribs below the underbust to be wider than the underbust itself, but it's either not enough or I slump and slouch far too much. Even bunched up, though, it's more irritating than uncomfortable.

For my notes: wires are about half an inch too wide for me.

  10. I love this longline bra. It fits very snugly in the band. The cups are lightly lined. As usual, because there is a half cup to a cup difference between my breasts, my right breast spills over just a bit while the left cup isn't quite full. (However, I've made my peace with this. It's better than fitting only for the right breast and having to fiddle with silicone inserts for the left breast.) The shape the bra gives is fantastic. It's a fun, flirty bra.
