My shape : pendulous, very projected, short roots, narrow roots but wide set, full on bottom, outer full. Freya Fancies is one of my best fitting bras. I originally ordered a Freya Expression plunge, but not high apex plunge, and ended up with the high apex plunge by accident. The two cuts look a lot like each other, some sellers don't pay attention to that, and unfortunately the fit is very different. The high apex cut fits like a typical Freya plunge balcony, and especially Fancies. The cups run large, moderately narrow, very projected and very FOB. A perfect fit for me. The materials are soft, and the bra ...is elegant and very comfortable. If you need a lot of immediate projection and apex projection with cups that are very closed on top, and Fancies fits you, Expression High Apex will probably fit you too. Unfortunately, this bra has one big flaw : the band runs large. Like, ridiculously large. Even a little bit larger than other Freya bras. I wear plenty of 34D bras. Expression's band is nearly 3 inches larger than them. It doesn't even ride up my back, it floats ! It's wearable on the tightest hook, although it rides up, obviously. The band material isn't to blame though, as it has much less stretch than other Freya bras. It just is way too big when not stretched. I'm a bit disappointed, because this would have been a perfect fit if not for the band size. This bra is going to find a new owner and I'll sister size down. Read more 154 more words
My shape : pendulous, very projected, short roots, narrow roots but wide set, full on bottom, outer full. Freya Fancies is one of my best fitting bras. Expression has an unusual fit for Freya. No cups and band on the larger side this time, the band is now true to size with not much stretch, and the cups are slightly on the smaller side of true to size, with good immediate projection but pretty average apex projection. The cups are very closed on top, which is perfect for my short roots, but those with tall roots, full on top or center full will probably get major quad boob ...from this bra. Due to my need for a lot of projection, I get some in cup quad boob, but the general fit is good. The cups give a very rounded shape more typical of Cleo than Freya. This is a very comfortable and supportive bra. Materials are pretty soft, although lace on the bottom of the cups is a bit bumpy. The cups are fully lined with mesh, unlike many older Freya bras. The bra looks beautiful and classy with its wine red color. A bra that may fit the full on bottom, short roots or outer full, but if you're used to Freya's generous sizing, you may want to size up in the band, and maybe also in the cup. I originally tried this in a 32DD and the band was comically small. Sized up to sister size 34D and the band is slightly too large. But the bra otherwise fits well and is very comfortable.
This bra is cocoa colored. I want to alter the band so the bra will fit me better, like a 26 or 28 band. Other than that, I really like the plunge style gore and I think the straps aren't too wide either. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The band on this is technically too big, but since it fits everywhere else I am going to keep it and wear it with a rixie clip. My only other complaint would be that the straps are too widely spaced but this is a problem I have in every bra I own.
The band in this is technically too loose for me, however it fits pretty well everywhere else so I am keeping it and will wear it with a rixie clip. My only other complaint would be how widely placed the straps are, but this is a problem I have in every bra I own.
I was sent this size by accident, so it obviously doesn't fit, but I wanted to show pictures of the style since there weren't many out there. I am wearing bike shorts under it so that I can show the cut of the entire bodysuit.
I tried my luck with this bra, meaning to alter it to 28F if the cups fit. The fit wasn´t actually too bad, but still bad enough that I will send it back.
The colour is pretty but maybe not so bright than in the pictures of manufacturer.
The wires are a tad too narrow for me, as expected. The cup shape is also wrong for me. I have wide roots and shallow breasts, and apparently "tall root" because many bras cut like this cut in on the top of cups. This doesn´t cut in horribly, but the upper cups still flatten my boobs, the shape is definitely not ideal. The cups create an okay shape from the side, it is not totally rounded but more rounded and less pointy than I´d expect from Freya.
Please note that the wires are not as long as the wire tunnel! They are about 1,5cm shorter.
The straps are adjustable all the way. Band is very stretchy and much too big for me.
Even prettier than I thought it would be. It fits my larger left side pretty well, but is wrinkly on my smaller right side. Unfortunately, the band is way too big, and I have to put it on the 3rd set of hooks right away. This is my first Freya, so I'm a little bummed. But I'm sure it's nothing shortening the band won't fix once it stretches too much.
Update: After tissue migration, there is a little quadboob, and it no longer feels supportive. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
