    Fits

While this may not be a perfect fit according to bra-fitting experts, I call it a fit. If there is a bra in existence that meets all the criterion of "fits" for me, I've yet to find it. This isn't really "padded" (like Freya Deco, for example). The cups are about 1/16" thick, and they stretch a little. Rapture is so SOFT, and comfortable, and pretty. I love the fabric; it's supportive but not constrictive. This bra is very lightweight, but it's not flimsy or weak. My boobs stay in the cups, and they are supported (relative to my size, of course.). The bad: Rapture's ... cups are a little too wide for me; the center gore is a little too low; when I bend certain ways I get quad-boob (esp. on my left side); and the straps are pretty far apart for my small frame. I don't think sizing up in the cups would work for me. The cups are so wide already, I don't get much "lift", and sizing down the band isn't an option in this universe. The good: I don't care. I love this bra. It feels great. Rapture looks nice under all clothing, and it feels cuddly and comforting. Out of my bras, Rapture's fit, on me is most similar to Freya Marvel side-support bra (which is another not-perfect fit that I love anyways). I paid $70.00 for Rapture, which is pricy for me, but I had no other option. Bras this easy to wear are few and far between and there's a lot to be said for quality. Two bras that have not caused me migraine and neck pain are Freya Marvel and Freya Rapture, so I hope their designs are paradigms for future Freya offerings! Luckily this sturdy bra will last a long time, and I'll enjoy the comfort it provides.

    Didn't fit

This bra is very lightly padded and is a softer cup. The bra is a very pretty bright neon orange. The lace detailing is beautiful. The wires are a bit wide for me and it almost fits. The wires are taller but I have migrated tissue in my armpits so I don't mind and the wires are covered with soft fleece. The band feels pretty true but I could go down in the band since I am a 31, so if you're in between and like your band really tight side down. For me the band was comfortable enough for me I am still looking for my right size so I will 're order this in a bigger cup to compare.

    • I found that this bra runs 1/2 a cup shallower than Freya's other half cups that are supposed to be a sister cut (e.g. Patsy and family). Just thought I'd mention it in case you order other Freya half cups based on the fit.

    • So I did order a new bra in 32 H I hope that it does fit, but if it does what exactly does that mean? Will it mean I'm half a cup under in the H or should I stick with a GG. This is my second GG purchase, the first being CK Ritzy which was also too small. When I pulled the bra all the way up to my roots I still had spillage. I am semi-soft so I can partially mold to it. What do you think?

    • I'm very soft/pendulous and with high/short roots. I haven't tried CK Ritzy, but I tend to need to go up a cup in CK's padded/molded options like Starlet and Daily Boost. So I'm usually a 30G in Freya half cups (my Rapture is shallow so I get spillage over the top of the cup) and 30GG in CK. I probably could go up to GG in Rapture, but then the underwires would dig in my armpits. Volume wise, I guess that makes Rapture closer to CK than to other Freya half cups. If the GG Ritzy and Rapture are both too small, then I'd say go for H. I wish I could say that means you'll need an H in all similar bras, but I hardly find any 30Gs between brands that fit the same for me. :/

    • Thank you so much sense I'm so new to all of this. I see what you mean, I was really just trying to find my base size. I think H is a good fit sense the rapture was so lightly padded. It should be here no later than Wed so I'll update soon.

    • Good luck!

  3. Seems to fit very well. Band and cup size mostly true to size (I normally wear 30E instead). The very top edge gaps a little. Very very bright neon orange color

    Didn't fit

Well I was sad when I received this bra and put it on. I had just sent a 32GG in the same exact style for this 32H. The H gaps at the straps, but the middle and front cups are filled if not slightly quadding. The wires are also too wide reaching the back of my arm pits. The cups are too tall so I guess I have short roots because I wasn't sure. I still love the overall look and comfort of this bra, but I will sadly return it. I encourage anyone with the right dimensions to buy this bra. I got it off Amazon for a little over $30 for both the 32GG and 32H. Any suggestions on bras I'll take. Also do you think parfait by affinitas Charlotte will work?

I really liked this bra too! I had the same problem though, quadding in the 34E and gapping at the top in the 34F. The lace was also doing a weird little roll at the top, almost like it was already stretched out. My hope was that...maybe it WAS stretched out, and I'm waiting for a replacement to try it again. Also in more sister sizes, since the band is stretchy I'm hoping I can go down to 32 (which is normally tight for me.)
I have tried the Parfait Charlotte and it is one of my favorites so far. I'm FOB/soft and this for some reason contains without puddling/gapping. I think it's the firm yet slightly top edge - seems different than others I've tried. You can see pics on my page.

    • I also tried it when I was confused on sizing it felt great but was way too small. The freya band felt comfortable/slightly loose but that is probably because I measure 31" I'd say it runs true to size.v I am even/fot. Im just concerned of what will happen when I get the 32H in parfait. I have a good amount of projection and am semi-soft. Because of my high set roots I try to make sure I pull the underwires up, but this results in the gapping and quadding 😩. I think you and I need shorter cups. And I need narrower wires. *sigh* some bras just can't be worn with certain breasts, I have tried 2x with this same style, so on to the next one.

I want to love this bra so bad, however, it's just not projected enough for me. However, I'm considering keeping it because it's comfortable. The padding is great and so is the lift it gives. The material is soft.

I want to love this bra. It's so cute. But I hate it.

The Good: 1) It's cute. I have it in white. It's adorable. 2) The cups are relatively open on top, good for functionally FOT people like me 3) They're not kidding when they call it a half-cup, even on my short roots it only just covers what it needs to.

The Bad: 1) The cups are too small. They don't run small, I've just had some recent tissue migration and figured out that I'm more of an E than a DD. 2) The band seemed to stretch really fast. When I got it I could fasten ... it on the middle hooks but now I have to use the tightest. I've heard Freya bands run bit, but it's only been two months and I honestly haven't worn it that much for the reasons below...

The Ugly: 1) It is ITCHY. Like you know the itchiness of a healing tattoo? Or gravel rash? That but everywhere the band and straps touch. 2) The wires are hard and they dig right into my close-set boobs. I have nasty red weals on my boobs after I wear this bra.

I don't know why I still have this bra. Actually that's a good point. Who wants a Freya Rapture half-cup in 28DD? Preferably in Australia/NZ?

Vertical 3 seamed soft cup bra, very open on top. Quite stiff wires, slightly too wide for me. Very bright neon orange colour, but definitely not unpleasant!

This is a great half cup bra that seems to fit me well. The only issue with it being so open is that gaping happens if I being my arms forward (otherwise fine if my arms are at the side of my body). I think this can be fixed with sewing in a small dart right at the top of the seam (especially on my smaller side). 30DD fits me better than the 28DD I tried in the Freya Kiyoko, another half cup, where I ended up with a lot of centre quadding. Again, the centre gore is marginally too wide but this size is less noticeable than the Kiyoko. The 30 band is too big and I think my ideal size would have to be 28E.

Why do I keep buying these? They're so pretty but never work for me. This one seems a bit smaller than the Patsy and others I tried. The cups seem shorter and smaller overall

I tried this and Patsy from Freya and this fit better for me - I do get some very slight gapping at the top of the cups throughout the day, but that's not a big deal for me. Not noticeable under a t-shirt, so it doesn't bother me.

Bra looks OK but has a few issues. Bending over results in both breasts leaving the bra completely. There is zero top support so any movement translates into uncomfortable jiggling and jostling. The UW are way too wide for me. There is also empty space between UW and bottom of breast. Not a good fit for me, and probably not for anyone with looser breast tissue.
