This bra is actually different from the other Freya half cups (Patsy etc). The cups have the usual two vertical seams but also have a horizontal panel and seam at the top. I will add a photo to illustrate. I find that this makes the Pixie a better fit for me because it closes off the top of the cup a bit, which helps keep my "wiggly tissue" contained.
Also, the outer cup fabric is much silkier than the Patsy and the straps are too. Consequently, this bra has a smoother appearance under clothes.
At the moment, this is my favorite bra, even though the band is a bit larger ... than I need. The cups seem deeper than my Patsys and I get less spillage at the gore. I wish Freya would make all their half cups with this construction because it's nearly perfect for my shape and breast type (soft, slightly pendulous, even but with very little upper fullness, short roots, high set). This bra in a nude colorway would be the ideal for me. I'd buy a drawer full of them!
