The Piper longline was my first longline bra. I like it mostly for the extra hooks at the back. The wings on this model are quite snug; moreso than on the Flourish I own.

My favourite use for this bra is under a button up blouse. Busty girls know that having a blouse that will button up and not gape between buttons is a nearly impossible phenomenon unless you are wearing a shirt much too big for you and can pull off the frumpy look (I know I can't). This bra helps to keep projection to a minimum which helps me fit into said blouses.

As it is a half cup, the wires rise about half an inch too high on my cleavage. The wires end up sitting on breast tissue, but it's a small price to pay for the reduced profile it gives me under tops that would otherwise be unwearable.

Ordered this too small. The wires are almost narrow enough for me but my boobs are squished and popping out the top. The bra itself is great though.

I accidentally ordered it a size big. It's comfortable and pretty. The lace on the bottom folds when I bend.

This bra is not owned any more

I really like this bra, its my favorite Freya so far! I was really worried about trying a longline bra but it is actually extremely comfortable.

There is a small bit of gaping at the top of the cups when I lean forward a little, but overall the fit is very good. I do wish the straps and cups didn't go so far out, but I have wore it twice so far and it hasn't been a problem yet.

Runs a little small--more in between F and FF than a true FF. This is good because I'm rather in-between sizes as well! It's a great bra for shallow and wide shapes, and it is very cute.

I don't like the longline style so much because the band flips up in front when I bend.
Vertical seams show through thin tops, and I wish there were another row of hooks. But the cups are so comfortable that I don't mind all the other problems with the bra. I'm on the hunt for a very similar shape now!

  6. For me, this fits very similarly to the Tartan longline (which is supposedly the same cut). I find the Piper seems to give me a little more oomph upwards, but that could just be small sewing differences between the two bras. I also for some reason find that the band in the front doesn't want to roll/curl up as much as on my Tartan.

This bra makes me feel like my breasts are resting on clouds. The wires are a tad (.25 inches) too wide, but that doesn't cause any discomfort. The band runs big and if this were't a longline, I think it would be too long for me. But since the band is so wide, I am comfortably supported.

I have this in Cornflower Blue and hands down, it is one of the prettiest bras I've ever seen! Despite having a bad experience with Freya with the Deco, I decided I needed this in my life. It was love at first sight for me and I managed to get it at a good price too - £20.

This was also the first longline bra that I've owned despite trying another on in a shop. Now I'll go ahead and say it straight away - longline bras are probably not a great choice for my body shape but I love them so much that I wanted to try ... one. They're super cute haha. As I have quite a bit of flab, the band does flip up when I sit down, but this is unnoticeable under clothing and is probably mostly to do with my body shape, though I do think Freya could have added some boning into the wings to help avoid this as I have heard plenty of smaller ladies say they have had the same issue too.

I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived as my bra, size 36G, has three rows of hooks and eyes when I was expecting only two from the reviews here. Maybe this is just on larger band sizes? As others have mentioned, the band is very firm and if this will bother you I suggest your larger 'sister size'. It's fine for me though (I like the feeling of added support) and I'm sure it'll stretch out and become a little less tight in a few weeks as I anticipate myself wearing this a lot! I love the powermesh back - gives a fabulous smooth shape under clothes. There are 6 hooks which I imagine could be fiddly for some but they don't really bother me.

The cups are fairly shallow which could be an issue for those of you with more voluminous, full breasts, but suit my pendulous, full on top breasts fine. I get no quadboob or gapping. The top is open enough for FOT boobs. The lace doesn't sit totally flat, but from what I've heard if it does then you're wearing the wrong size anyway. It gives subtle cleavage and the most gorgeous uplifted round look under clothes. I ADORE the shape this gives me! However, a minor niggle is that the underwire does sit slightly below my breast tissue, but this may just be the style of the bra.It definitely doesn't bother me enough to return the bra or not wear it. The gore comes up pretty high, which suits me best as I have soft breast tissue that has a tendency of spilling out of lower gores such as plunges.

The straps, unlike some of Freya's other longlines, are the standard thick Freya straps which aren't popular with some ladies but they suit me just fine. They are fully adjustable, I found I had to make them slightly shorter as I'm quite petite. The little bow detail on the strap (also on the gore) is super cute.

I would definitely recommend this bra!

I didn't think I was going to buy this bra when I saw its pictures online. It looked overly kitchsy, and I'd tried on its cream incarnation and been unimpressed by its flippy band and color scheme. When I saw the blue version in person, however, I was hooked. Its floral was anything but kitschy. Instead, it was done with oversaturated pictures of flowers that evoked technology more so than nature. That plus the fact that it was a half-cup and fit more tightly than its predecessor was all I needed; I'll make a lot of concessions for a half cup.

Its band fits like something midway between a ... (Freya) 30 and 32. The bra gives a very rounded shape, and its long band would make the whole thing feel more anchored and secure if it wasn't so prone to flipping up. It did so at the least irritation until I stitched in some boning, and even so, the problem isn't entirely fixed. If you can't stand a nonstable band, this bra definitely isn't for you.

Its cups are also far too shallow for me. There's a lot of empty space in their bottoms. I also feel I could do with one cup size up, were it available.

When I fully scoop, it get a little bit of spillage. However, it all settles back quickly. The band is a bit looser than my other Freya bras, but it still stays in place because of its width. The lace trim on the band can fold under when I sit, but it is not uncomfortable.
