Longline bras are super comfortable and I love them. This one smooths out back fat and gives a very good cleavage. In my case, it's a tiiiny little bit big on the top, but definitely not enough to go down a cup size. The front can ride up a bit if you have fat rolls under your boobs.
I think I've kind of fallen in love with Freya's longline bras. First of all, the wide 6-row, 2-column band on the longline is SUPER comfortable and supportive for my heavy, pendulous, slightly-full-on-top breasts. Second, it gives a beautiful rounded and uplifted profile for me, which is what I prefer more than the pointed, super-forward projection in some other bras. This particular longline is my favorite so far because the coral with white polka dots is beautiful and coral is one of the colors that looks great on me. When I am wearing this bra and the matching underwear, I feel like I'm having a great ...bra/boob day!
Generally, I wear a 34G in most Freya bras, but I have found the sizing in the Patsy line of padded half-cups and longlines to be hit or miss. This 36FF fits pretty well, which surprised me. I only ordered it because it was on clearance and they didn't have my normal sizes in this Patsy longline. I thought it MIGHT be too shallow, but it wasn't.
I can wear a 34G regular padded half-cup in the Patsy padded half-cup black colorway but needed a 34GG and/or 36G in the turquoise colorway. If you're going to consider the Patsy, order your "normal" Freya size plus one cup size bigger than normal to see what fits you best. I find the band to be particularly stretchy with this bra, so a smaller band might work better for some of you. I'm solidly between a 34 and 36, so either band works pretty well for me with sister sizes in the cups. Read more 160 more words
The band is (or feels) firmer than that of the non-longline Freyas I've tried. The support from the wide band is wonderful and the cups give a pleasing rounded shape. However, the cut is not really right for me — it wants more upper fullness and less bottom fullness and immediate projection.
This bra fits almost perfectly. There is a little bit of gaping on my smaller boob. I wore it all day yesterday, and the longline feels a little strange at first. After I got used to it, I really liked it. I haven't had an issue with the longline rolling up in the front like other reviewers mentioned. The part where the strap connects at the back was kind of uncomfortable on one side, but I'm hoping that will go away after a couple of washes.
EDIT: It became more comfortable as it got washed and broken in. The strap issue is gone. The front of the longline does roll up on me now when I bend forward, but it's not that big of an issue for me. I still like this bra.
A very pretty bra. I wore the half-cup non-longline version of this earlier, and liked it so much I bought it in my actual size. Sadly, once I was sized correctly, I realized that it didn't fit at all. The wires were too wide, the the cup too open on top and too shallow at the bottom. However, even with those issues it's still a really comfortable bra, so it's got that going for it.
This bra is super cute, its so cute I tried it on even though I was certain it would fit horribly, I was surprised when it fit really well! This cut is usually recommended for wide & shallow, I'm narrow and projected, and I also tried on the piper long line before and that was disastrous, I thought they were the same but I think they're actually slightly different. I tried on a 30FF too and it probably technically fit better but unless I kept my shoulders all the way back it gaped a little bit, the bra is pretty open on top so even when I ...went down to a 30F it didn't cut in and it doesn't gape when I slouch a little. Gore doesn't tack but I'm fine with that. The band feels kind of loose but the 5 hooks keep it in place. The band kind of rolls up in the front, not sure if this happens to everybody (though I know it does happen to more than just me) or if it has to due with my flared rib cage. I've been meaning to add some iron on interfacing to the inside of the band to see if that would stop it from rolling up but I keep forgetting. But seriously this bra is SO cute. I feel like I could wear it to a concert and people would just think I was wearing one of those festival tops, not a bra. Read more 141 more words
Band is on the loose side: I prefer 30 bands in Cleo, but this one is just perfect with 28 band. Cups are quite open on top, causing a little gaping, but not enough to size down. It sits quite low on my body; I might just be wearing it too low, but it is comfortable in that place, so I'm not worried. It's not very full coverage, so if you're looking for a very supportive bra, you could do better.
The band tends to roll up several times a day, and I end up adjusting it every now and then; it's not too big a problem, but a bit annoying. I have scoliosis and one of my ribs sticks out more than the other, so that might affect the fit.
Shape is nice under clothes, but due to the band rolling (and the distinctive colour), I prefer to wear it with looser t-shirts. It's comfortable to wear whole day, and my only real complaint is the band rolling.
I love the look of Freya's longlines, but the underwire is just too short for me, and causes armpit wings--and then I have a little bit of a gap at the top of the cup. The band is nice and snug, and the gore is comfortable.
In order to fill the cups I need to place it a bit lower on my ribcage, so I guess I'm not filling the bottom. The band rides up a bit in the front when I bend down (I have a fat roll right under my boobs, so it may be it). Other than that, super comfortable. I love the wide band, it doesn't move at all.
