    Fits

I never wrote a review on this because I intended to add it to my blog.
As of now, I don't have time to do what I wanted with the blog, and I've worn this a few times, so I think I might as well review it.

I'm not so sure about the fit of this. I bought it knowing full well that it may be a tad small. I measure 30 underbust 36-37" bust, which would put me at 30E or F, but as it seems(from EM's to other typically narrow brands), I'm more in between 30DD and 30E. I think this is due to my boobs being super ... projected and very narrow.

For this bra, it fits a little too snug and I think I would do better in 30E. It's a very similar fit to my Hopscotch Longline, nearly identical.
The cups are decently projected (for being a smaller size for me, even), and the width of the wires is spot on-perfect for me.
If I could take wires from a 30DD and depth from a 30E, I'd have my perfect fit.

So as typical of the Freyas I've tried, this has decent projection and narrow wires. The gore is also very close set, but does rest slightly on my tissue, making this the most uncomfortable part of the bra for me.
I honestly believe this is due to the fact that the cups are just a smidge too small for me and I should size up.

Otherwise, the band is nice and fairly stretchy, but not overly so. The back portion is a layer of black mesh, which felt super nice during the more humid months.
Pretty sure the Hopscotch's back is mesh also, so maybe this is just something typical of Freya's longline bras.
The material on the cups is a silkier material, very soft and comfortable.

The appearance I get from this bra is projected and uplifted, again, almost identical to my Freya Hopscotch Longline(and some of my EM's even).

Straps are comfortable, but not fully adjustable. I am fairly lower set, and I have them tightened all the way, so that may be something to consider.

Otherwise, this is one of my favorite bras appearance wise. The colors are so vibrant, it's absolutely gorgeous.

I'd recommend this bra to anyone who needs some projection, has narrower roots and wants a front and centered, uplifted look. I would also not recommend sizing down as I did. I only did that because Bare Necessities was having a sale for $10, I'm cheap, I adore this bra, and 30DD was the last one. xD

I have it too (in 30E) and it's amazing. It's my second most comfortable bra right after the Freya Ivy Longline.

    • I have this same wire thing with Freya, mostly need the depth of a 28F/30E with the wire width of a 28E/30DD. When I gained weight I got fuller and more projected, but not wider at all.

    • I love love love the pattern on the pansy! I've been looking for one for forever. I missed that sale by like an hour.

    • Looks good on you, I'm a huge Pansy fan!
That print just rocks. Jealous! 😌

Because I don't wear my Flourish longline a lot, and technically Pansy doesn't come in my size, I wasn't allowed to buy it. But for such a great price I could not have stopped myself 😁

This bra is lovely. The pictures don't do it justice, fyi.

    Let's start with the good:
As stated, this is s beautiful bra. A prettier bra, I never did see (until I get a new bra, I'm addicted to bra shopping now and they're all "sooooo prettyyy" 😒 I'm working on the addiction).
    It's comfortable.
It didn't quadboob for me, and doesn't show under clothes.
All in all a pretty smooth silhouette.

    The bad:
    The band.
Can we talk Freya bands for a minute? Why are they ALWAYS, without fail, too big and not particularly true to size?
I want to love this bra, but with this stretchy band, it'll go quickly ... and I will have to be careful how frequently I wear it.

    The ugly:
we already talked band. It's big. But the longline Does. Not. Stay. Put. It wrinkles and rolls up.
I don't know if this is just an issue with me, with everyone, or what. I have an extremely tapered ribcage/waist so longlines are always a bit of a gamble for me. But they're so pretty I have to try! Maybe if there was boning it would stay?
I feel the wires aren't wide enough to scoop on all of my boobage. I get some rogue tissue sometimes.
It's not like a Cleo where you swoop, scoop, and are locked in.

All in all, that's not enough to make me return it. I have had much worse bras.

    • Yeah. I like Freya but the bands bug me.

    • uniteacher
I like them too. They're fun, well constructed, and devastatingly feminine. They're also the only lightly lined demi cups that I have mild success with so far.I just wish the bands ran more true to size!

(sorry for my english, i'm french!)

This bra is incredibly PRETTY. Colors are great: there's a dominant of blue and a little of yellow and purple (those colours are not really visible on freya's photographies) mixed with black lace.

I think this bra is more for shallow breast. My breast are a quite projected and the wires stand low under my breast, but it's ok for me. I usually take a 30F at freya, but this time, because of those shallow cups, i had to take a 30FF and it fits perfectly.

The cups have a very rounded shape. It fits my "even" breast, and i think it can work for ... a FoT too because the top of the cup is very open.

In the cons, i found the fabric a little itchy (but it's still ok), and the band runs a little big. I'm a "big" 30 so that's ok for me but if you're between two sizes, you can take the smallest one.

One of the first bras I bought since I discovered that I had an "unusual" bra size. I think it could fit better, but it is way much better than any other bra i used to wear. The band has a good length but is too stretchy for me. I fasten it on the middle hook.
There is just something I can't describe that tells me that it is not exactly the kind of bras I need, but I am not able to find it. The cups seems to be at the right size, maybe not wide enough, because as the wires sits just exactly at the side of my boobs when I put it on, they tend to move on it during the day. The second fact is that I need to tighten the straps a lot otherwise I don't feel supported.
    I could use some help.

    **Backwards & Upsidedown:** Feels fine

**Wires:** Too short, more on left than right. Starting to really hurt after three hours of wear.

**Gore:** Bottom is flat, top is a thumb-length from sternum. Width is fine, height is fine.

**Cups:** Lie about 1/2 inch below inframmary fold after three hours of wear. Fit ok when first adjusted into it. Spilling out top into quad boob.

**Straps:** The width of the straps are fine and are the right width apart.

**Comfort:** I like the shape, it's the best fit I've ever had, and it's super supportive, but it is poking me in the sides and becoming hard to breathe in. The bottom of the longline is tipping up, but that's to be expected, I think?

I previously owned Pansy in 30G, which I eventually sold because it was a solid cup size too big and gaped terribly. But, being the bra addict that I am, I couldn't stop thinking about it, and decided to re-purchase it cheaply in a distant sister size which I took in to fit as a 30FF.

The print is just extraordinary, possibly the best floral I've ever seen in a bra! It's dark and moody with super realistic deep blue, violet, magenta and white pansies... they remind me of the singing flowers in Alice in Wonderland https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Layered blue and black bows sit ... near the straps and on the center gore, and scalloped black lace covers both the longline band and the back of the matching shorts. The comfort is just excellent... the fabric is super soft and the wires are totally non-irritating. The shape is lifted and completely round with very minimal "padding." The wire width and projection is moderate, comparable to a Fauve or Fantasie halfcup. The only fit issue I have with this bra is one that I've had with all Freya longlines I've ever tried: the band has no boning, so it bunches up as soon as you're not standing still. I've experimented with hooking the last couple hooks on the second column instead of the third, but that only delays the issue rather than preventing it. Otherwise, I just adore Pansy and will never get rid of her again!

This bra is so beautiful, and so comfortable. I love it. There's so much that is wrong for me, but I just don't care. The wires are too wide, the cups are too shallow, the band flips up. BUT even with all that, it is still comfortable for a 12hr work day. I walk about 10,000 steps a day, and this is the go to bra. It minimizes me a good bit, but I don't mind because of the comfort.
