    Didn't fit

The tips about this bra running large in the band and the cup are definitely true. Normally I wear a 30GG or so in unpadded Freya bras, but the 28H I ordered for comparison had wrinkling in the top section even after judicious swooping and scooping. And while the bra is a bit too tight for me on the loosest hook, it's certainly not as tight as I'd expect. If I keep this bra, I'll probably be wearing this with an extender until it stretches.

The straps are nicely soft and wide, and while I think I'll have strap slipping issues, I have sloping, slightly narrow shoulders, so I ... have that problem with every bra.

The center gore sat better on me than I'd expect of a Freya balcony-- they usually come up too high for my close-set boobs-- but it didn't sit as firmly against me as I'd like. It felt like the band was holding the underwires a tiny bit forward of my breasts, especially in the middle inch of the gore.

The comfort was pretty good. The cups are fully lined, so you pretty lace details on the bra without having to feel the lace against your skin. The straps, as I said, are very comfortable. That said, something about the feel of the materials just wasn't as nice as my Freya Ada, which is my current gold standard for comfort.

This bra gives me a slight double boob on my larger side, especially right after a swoop and scoop. I feel like the top section of the cup just doesn't quite agree with the shape of my larger boob-- it cuts in most in the middle and toward the center gore. It's not obvious through the soft cotton tops I usually wear, but it kind of worries me.

This is a nice one! I'd say if you like the Freya Antoinette, you should give this one a try.

The cups are a tiny bit big on me since I get a bit of gaping in the cup near the center gore. It fits fine in every other way, so I don't find this much of a problem. I kind of think a smaller cup size would have caused some quadraboob, but I may track one down just to compare.

I like the shape this bra gives me. It isn't ultra rounded like the Ewa Michalak bras I love. Instead it is more of a natural shape. Still, ... I'd say it is pretty flattering. I also like the mesh fabric on the inside of the cups. It is so soft!

Lastly, I found the band to be a little big for me. I have to clasp the hooks on the tightest set from the beginning.

Overall, a very natural every day type bra.

    -ETA-
This is a perfect period bra for me! I never really noticed my boobs grow that much around that time of the month, but this time it is very easy to notice. This bra is so comfortable and those slight wrinkles have disappeared. The stretchy lace is perfect for this!

    • If the bra fits you on your period but is a little loose the rest of the month, you could have two measurements and set that it fits for one and not the other ;)

    • I tried remeasuring at the time and for some odd reason the actual measurements were the same. Is that normal?

    • Yes, I am not all that surprised, boobs are very misterious :P, they could swell in a direction that's not captured by the current measurement (top part) so they do swell but bratabase never knows :(

I like this bra, except that the center gore definitely does not sit flat on the chest - it pokes out a lot. So much that I can show even when wearing clothes. Apart from that, good support and nice, wide straps.

I was always curious on trying a Freya Jolie. I love how it looks and that it comes in many pretty colours. Also it's known to be very comfortable and to run big in the cups, so when I saw it super cheap on Ebay I had to give it a try. I wouldn't have bought it a full price since I knew that Freya and I don't get along and all Freya bras I've tried so far failed to work in the J+ cup range.
This bra is no exception. The wires feel quite week. I find the band too stretchy, I need to wear it on ... tightest setting. The cups almost fit my 32JJ/K boobs, so I'd say it does really run a bit big. I get some issues with cutting in on top but it's not really visible. (I get this issue with almost every bra since my boobs are very full – on -top) The gore does not lie flat which is mostly caused by wires just being too weak. The whole bra is quite comfortable. I get less wire pain, since the wires are a lot more bendable than for example the extreme sturdy Panache Arizas wires. Shoulder straps are typical wide and comfy Freya straps. (I want these kind of straps on all my bras! Meh)
The colour is a very bright bubblegum pink. I love it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
The shape from the side is quite projected, a bit more than I prefer.

  6. I just received this bra so I might update it in a few weeks to let you know my final review.

I purchased the Jolie balcony in 30J after I previously ordered a 32HH Freya bra (my usual "Cleo size") but I found the band too large so I had to send it back.
The band on this bra is about the right size, but it's a bit tight so I will have to get an extender to give me an extra row and some room to breath. I hope the band stretches out a bit in the future.
I hesitated between the HH and the J cups, being a 32HH ... going down a band size, but I don't regret getting the J cups because it fits like it should.

The center gore lies flat against my chest although I have the constant feeling it doesn't when I look at it. The top of the wires in the center are a little bent outwards that's why I have this feeling.

The straps are large, which I liked in the previous Freya bra I bought (the one I sent back) but with this one, they have a tendency to slip from my narrow shoulders.

I love that there are 3 hooks instead of only 2. There is also a side support in the form of a flexible vertical straight wire on each "wing" of the band.

The fabric is soft and airy but not really see-through on my skin, which I like.

I didn't have the choice of colors and received the "chili" color which is a very bright red, almost pink color. I thought I would dislike it because red isn't a color I'm comfortable with and I don't think it goes well with my complexion, but I was surprised to be pleased by the "chili" color !
There are cute little red roses with navy "bows" between the cups and on the end of the straps.
The cups are made from a cobweb-like fabric, with a pattern of simple flowers. I don't like the flower pattern much, it looks like it has been drawn by a 5-year-old... It doesn't go well with the overall adult silhouette of the bra, in my opinion. It is not very obvious when you wear it though.

This bra gives my breasts a rather natural shape, which I'm not used to with the brand Cleo I usually buy (which gives me the best rounded shape), but I don't think I look bad in this bra so that's ok.

On first try, I thought this bra wasn't as comfortable as my Cleo ones, especially around the wires, but I hope that will change once it becomes nicely worn in.

So in conclusion, I have mixed feelings about this bra, but the overall feeling makes that I am keeping it and hope for the best between me and this Jolie piece of underwear https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

This fits similarly to the black 32HH 4102 I reviewed. When I first got it, the band was too tight (unsurprisingly, since my break-the-tape measurement is 30.5") but after a few months, it stretched to fit comfortably.

  8. This was a great bra that gave a really nice, lifted, front-and-center shape, if just a little pointy. It does seem to run a bit big in the cups and in the band (as with all Freyas I've tried), as the 32HH fit well when I was usually wearing a 34HH in Panache. However, the band itself is firmer than most other Freya bands, once you allow for the size difference.

It's also one of the few full-coverage type bras without a stretch-lace upper cup that fits my projected, full-on-top breasts well. The gore is just a little wide for my close-set breasts, but not as much as you find in most non-Cleo Panache bras.

Unfortunately, my breasts seem to have gotten a little bigger recently, as the top of the cups now cut in a bit during certain weeks of the month, despite the fact that this fit well when I was about 7-8lbs heavier.

This is probably the best fitting bra I have, but it does dig in underneath my boobs as the day goes on. I am using an extender at the moment which makes it a little better. The straps are fantastic. I don't have a quad boob happening and it doesn't dig in under my arms which is amazing.
The straps still slip off my shoulders throughout the day, and the shape is a bit too pointy. I like to wear a crop top over it to give me a rounded shape.

It's a very pretty bra, it gives great support and shape.
Unfortunately it did stretch out quickly, with my 77cm under bust size 32 is quite loose now- it's not so bad so I'm planing to short the band.

Edit: I tried to make a band shorter but I made it too small!! It doesn't look very good but it could work for somebody with smaller backhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
