This bra is a gorgeous pattern, and the first longline I ever bought. I LOVE the longline style, however the band is too stretchy for my, and the cups are much too small. I wish they covered more. This bra is super comfy, though, that could possibly be due to the incorrect sizing.
Cute pattern. Makes me think of pixels. I like pixels. The colours are totally not my thing and makes me look like a ghost. Still, it's adorable. One thing I don't like, and find stupid, is how the patterned outer fabric does not cover all of the padding, and the lace trim is very delicate, so the padding shows through. I don't get why they thought this wasn't a bad idea. It just doesn't look good.
To get on to the fit, like any Eveden half-cup and longline, it doesn't fit my shape because I need a narrower and deeper cup. This is the first time I've sized up ...in this cut, and it is much better now. The gore actually tacks, for one (although the wires sit on top of each other). A size up gives me the depth I need, but at the price of narrower wires - there's a whole lotta' empty space at the sides - not that the wires are small enough in 30G. The band is a little loose - I would love a 30GG in this - but the wider band provides enough support to keep it (mostly) in place. Also, Freya, please add more columns of eyes to your longlines; only two settings is, simply put, idiotic.
I think I'll keep it (and take in the gore - a lot) despite the not-for-me pastels, I still quite like the pattern, and half-cups are the only cut of bra that brings my low-set soft boobs high up enough to actually make them look the size that they are, and not like pancake sacks of flesh. So, I'm keeping it for vanity reasons, I guess! Read more 171 more words
The hopscotch longline is adorable. I purchased it with the intentions of adding real boning and taking in the band, but as I don't have any real sewing skills, I think I took on too much of a challenge.
Definitely fits TTS, so the band is too big for me (hence the desire to take it in). I only wore it long enough to try it on, so I'm not sure how comfy it is. Nothing poked me though. Seems like a regular bra with extra fabric. Freya bras are usually comfy for me, so I'm sure this one would be as well.
I love the look of this bra, and it fits reasonably well--I have a tiny bit of space in the cup (but not anything crazy), and the band is comfortable. It's giving me a weird "wing" on the side (under my armpit), though, so I'm not sure if I'll keep it or not.
This bra reminds me of a candy store--particularly of a candy necklace.
The fit is small in the cups. Fully swooped and scooped, I spill out of the front and a bit on the sides. Since the cups are small and the band is a bit too big, my boobs naturally want to escape anywhere they can. The bra then gets pushed outwards away from my body and boobs escape at the bottom as well. I would fare better in a bigger cup and smaller band, although I'm ok with the band tightness due to the fact that the extra hooks (there are 6 in total) provides more stability in the bra structure.
The bottom of the band that makes up the longline aspect does flip and bunch with any amount of daily movement. I don't mind it. I almost feel like short boning might eventually poke through and stab me. I'll pass on that.
This bra is best suited towards those with shallow breasts. I get orange-in-a-glass with this. As a result of being too projected for this bra, I'm getting horizontal wrinkles near the centre because the cup is pulling. The appearance of this bra is not as bright as indicated in stock photos, but that's kind of been a recurring problem with Freya in the SS14 season. The bra is however, still very cute. The band on the loosest hooks ride up on me. I have to close it on the second AND last set. Seriously Freya, only 2 columns of hooks?! Luckily, I only paid 23 bucks for this bra. Despite the fit issues, I'm still keeping it because it really creates the illusion of having a slimmer torso, looks so damn cute AND is very comfortable. It gives the green shape that Bras I Hate talks about.
Good for shallow breasts. I'm a little surprised by the cup depth measurement because I never fill out cup depths over 6''. I just barely fill this out though, my breast tissue is very soft and may be too soft to fully "expand" the cups (especially on the sides) but it looks fine. Fits much better than the Totally Tartan longline that I previously tried.
