I don't have many bra's with a wire so the fit is difficult for me to judge. The band seems to be a good fit for me. The bra fit okay at first but after wearing the bra all day I was a little uncomfortable and had little red marks where the bottom of the cups and center gore lay. The wrinkles at the top of the cups suggest that my breast aren't filling in the top properly. And the cup doesn't cover all of my larger breast on the side but its only by a bit. I still need to try other sized bra's so I'm not sure if this size is good for me. I got this bra before signing up for this site and was suggested the 28DD size from here.

It looks a little big. But also, the same size will fit differently in different models and brands. The suggestions here are really not fantastic, its only a starting point.
getting used to wearing wires takes some time. i had gone wireless for decades and was told (here) to start wearing them not full days, so I started only wearing my wired bras for 4 hours. Eventually they broke in and I adjusted and I can easily do 10 in some of them
