    I . . don't really understand this bra.
I think, basically, all the problems with this bra stem from it having the flimsiest, stretchiest, pathetic underwires ever. (You could easily bend the wires into a circle if you wanted. I think they are even flimsier than the ones on my Pour Moi 36G!)
The cup should fit ok, it seems to be deep enough and wide enough, but the center gore is way out and the bra is really droopy, not because the cup is too small but because the wires aren't strong enough to hold it to my chest!
It's too bad, because it is quite a pretty bra and I think it might fit fairly well if it had sturdier underwires.
At this size I can only imagine this bra would only work for those with super perky, hold-themselves-up boobs. It provides pretty much no lift.

    Hasn't set fit

I recently acquired 3 used bras. I was not too worried about a perfect fit because I'm working from home, and was hoping to find some less intense options than my Ewa Michalak FBs to wear on days I just wanted more comfort.

I think this is a pretty bra. However it is not the right fit for me. I believe it is too shallow at the gore and the bottom of the cup for me, and slightly too small. The gore does not tack. The pattern is cute (gold geometric circle/snowflakes?) and the lace is sharp looking. But I did not like this enough to keep it and plan to list it.

    • I wonder if it would fit better with narrower wires?

    • 1

Maybe? But would that fix the shallowness at center and bottom? It might give more room at top, right? Not huge on bra surgery past wire-bending.

    • 1

      It’s probably not worth it.

    • 1

Why don't they ever improve their large cup range at Freya? No one can get a good fit in those weird constructions. :(

    • 1

What? No scary underneath photo? :)

You can definitely see that it is too shallow at the gore.

    • 1

Sounds like it might be better in the garbage than sold, but maybe i should try to pass it on anyways - for cost of shipping?

and i only take scary underneath pics if I like the bra lol

This bra is...well, big. It's very high-coverage and the wires are very wide. The starting point of the cup (where the bow is) is practically on top of my shoulder and there's a lot of fabric and underwire in my armpit, which is uncomfortable. The center gore is also fairly high and wide. The straps are extremely long and far apart. Everything is just...big. Tall and wide. It's like the bra was built for someone who's seven feet tall.

Like most Freya bras, it gives you a lot of space at the bottom of the cup and relatively little on top. If you're full on top, this might produce ... empty space at the bottom and cutting in at the top; if you're full on the bottom, it might create duck's-beak boobs. On me, the shape is lifted, minimized, not exactly round but less pointy than Freya's other balconettes, and also slightly east-west due to the overly wide cups. It's not awful, but it's not brilliant either.

On the plus side, the high-coverage, high-closure, made-of-stiff-fabric cups give good support. This is helped by the thick, wide straps and the wide band, which is not too stretchy (although it runs very large — this 28 is actually a 32). I don't bounce much in this bra, but I don't think the support is worth the tradeoff in comfort and shape.

This bra did not fit me correctly. It was slightly too small in the cup (although i think the next size up might be slightly too big) and the band was too big. however, the material is comfortable and does not scratch. It gives a nice shape and seems to correct asymmetry well

I got this bra online from Nordstrom's sale. Though it doesn't sit flat against my sternum, it almost does. The lacey top part is forgiving of my "soft" on top boobs. It seems even stretchier than other Freyas, and it does stretch out further than another I have, but maybe I pulled harder. I wore it all day two days ago, and have it on again today. I naturally put it on the second set of hooks when I put it on today, and remember that I thought it might do better snugger when I wore it two days ago.

It is very comfortable, and attractive in an everyday bra sort of way. Perhaps not the best t-shirt bra as there is an obvious difference between the satin lower area and the lace top, though the lace isn't heavily textured so you don't get the lace through the t-shirt effect.

  6. This bra is, I think, meant to be a successor to the discontinued Pollyanna. Unfortunately, the 28 band on the Faye is significantly looser than the 30 band on the Pollyanna. It also seems to stretch out quickly--after a few weeks of wear, I've already got it fastened on the second set of hooks. I also fasten my Pollyanna on the second set of hooks now--but I've had it for a year and a half.

I'd say a there's a bit less volume at the top of the cups in the Faye than the Polly., but it still works ok on my relatively full on top breasts.

This bra is too big in the band for me just. And might possibly be a cup size too small, but I have not been able to find any bra that could fit me better.

I bought this bra in UK size 32H on a second hand website.
The band is one size too small for me so I have a quadboobs effect & a "doesn't lie flat" center gore when I wear it. These are diminished when I use a bra extender with this bra. I shoukd buy a 34H!
The quality of the bra is good comparing to its retailing price (36€ where I live) & the comfort is good despite its wrong size & the bra extender. The lace on the panel is soft to the skin & doesn't scratch.
The only downside to this bra are the design of the straps. They are difficult to adjust because designers decorated them with a textured fabrics so the plastic thing used to adjust them doesn't slide easily.

    Freya Faye 30J
I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.

Faye is an unpadded underwire bra in a full cup balcony style. It comes in a White, Black or Beige w/cream dots/snowflake type pattern. I tried Faye in 28J, 30J, and 30JJ in black, as well as 30JJ in white.

The 30J measures band 27” to a max of 33.5" with 3 hooks with 3 rows of eyes, and like the 28J, the straps are very long.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands.
