    Didn't fit

Me: 30F/32E. Center full, close set, relatively even when supported, tall-ish roots. Not particularly narrow - average to wide roots. Soft tissue. Shoulders are on the slightly narrow side so some balconettes have straps that are too wide for me.

This bra: yeah, the one hook thing really threw me. But it didn't feel less supportive than the many 2- and 3-hook bras I've tried. It also had the right distribution of cup depth. However, the top part of the cup/lace section cut into tissue, so it was too closed on top for me. Also, it was slightly too wide in the gore, so I could feel the wires around the center start to rub on tissue after a few minutes. That was the real dealbreaker.

Might work better for short/average roots. It had an okay amount of room for center fullness, just too wide-set for me.

Beautiful bra. It's supportive but I should have sized up in the cups. The center panel doesn't lie flat which is the biggest issue l tend to have with bras

    Fits

Really cute, and lightweight because of only one hook. Cons: the one-hook may not give the most support for bigger boobs. But it supports mine just fine.

  4. One of the rare more projected and narrow bras available in Canada and on Amazon. The mesh on the lower portion offers some much needed support. The gore tacks nicely and the keyhole design is quite unique. Does not cut into my armpit, underwires do not poke!

The lace is a bit too rough, and the lace on the top portion could be more flexible to allow for more variation on the top fullness/shape. The lace has an additional elastic band at the top, which creates some minor rippling effect for me, being that I have more full on bottom shape. Or maybe it is because the bands are ... set a tiny bit wide so when I push them in it creates a small bubble for the top lace portion. The top lace being looser than the mesh support allows for more projection in the centre than at the nipple, which distorts the shape ever so slightly. Planning to fix it by stitching in the lace by hand a tiny bit.

Could benefit from more than one hook for the band. I find the lace pattern quite generic. Offers several colors though.

Near perfect fit anyway. Happy with this bra. It's a keeper. My husband finds it nice and sexy too!

This is so far the best fitting of my new sized bras 38FF since discovering abrathatfits
Pros:Cute color, good projection for my FOB shape, I like that it isn't moulded, love the stretchiness of the band
Cons: a little bit wrinkly at the end of the day but ok for 2 hours after S&S. So far as with all bras, my splayed shape means the wires don't widen fast enough for it to reach my IMF in the center so that's the main thing on my wish list.
    At least it's comfortable?

This bra wasn’t quite right for me, I do love the stretch lace, the color and the fun gate back. But I had quadding. I have relatively high and soft tissue and almost all the cups with an elastic line end up with this cutting in on me.

This is one of my better fitting bras. I have high projection and it allows my breasts to sit out in front of me instead of being smooshed. Very pretty. Not super supportive but OK. I don't love the feeling of the lace but I'm not a lacey bra types of person. Overall seems to be pretty nice and high quality. pretty color too, which can be hard to find with a 32FF bra size.

My shape: close set, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

Beautiful bra, love the way it looks, not the way it fit me. This bra is best for full on bottom breasts. I have full on bottom breasts, but tall shallow roots and soft tissue, so this cuts in at the top. It makes my breasts look pointy and kinda droopy, no lift, which I don't like (I prefer a round shape). I like the low gore and the look of the band in the band.

The band is too flimsy to put in loosest hook, fits better for me in the second loosest hook. I can fill the cups, but on the sides my breast tissue escapes a little bit. Overall, not a good fit for me unfortunately.

This is my first experience with the Freya brand. There are a lot of things that work for me in this bra, but it is not quite right for me.

The good? The band easily stretches to 33" which is actually perfect for me as that is my snug underbust measurement (so 32" bands are often too tight, but 34" bands can be too loose). There is only one hook in the band. I thought that would be weird, but it feels fine and seems supportive enough.

The ok? The wires fit me reasonably well. They may be a little wider than I'd prefer, but they follow my inframammary ... fold fairly well. The gore tacks nicely and is comfortable. I think the cups have enough projection at the wire for me and I fill them fairly well, but this leads to the bad. The material is a little itchy/irritating, but I know that often resolves after washing/wearing a few times. I won't test that with this bra as I'm not keeping it.

The bad? The top of the cups don't fit me quite right. My larger breast quads in the cup a little. I don't think this would be a problem if the top of the cup was just stretch lace, but the strip of elastic digs in. I get some wrinkling where the lace meets the cup at the strap on both sides. I don't think this would show under a shirt, but it is still a little annoying. Finally, the seam placement allows my nipples to show through my shirt unless I ensure they are sitting behind the seam which isn't where they naturally fall. This may not be a problem for some people, but I'd prefer coverage in that area.

Overall, this is a bra that is almost, but not quite right for me. I won't be keeping it, but I will consider other Freya offerings and may even revisit this bra again in the future.

    • I have the same issues with elastic strips. I think it’s a mix of the soft tissue and tallish roots.
