This bra has a weird shape and very wide cups. It doesn't work well for full-on-bottom breasts, either. The fabric is nice and silky-soft, and the patterns are fun and nonconventionally interesting. It's a thicker fabric, too, so it'd be good for prominent nipples and/or colder weather.

Overall, I think this is a really cute and overall comfy bra, but unfortunately it doesn't really suit my shape.

My favorite part about it is the print, especially on the straps. I like wearing it with tank tops and camisoles because my straps are so cute, and not an ugly nude/black/white. I also like the way the half-cup looks. Overall, a very cute bra.

Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to have to give up anything that isn't a plunge, because no matter what I do the center gore digs into me. I think it's because my boobs are so close together that I literally don't have any ... space between them, just a skin web with some breast tissue under it. This bra, like most half-cups, doesn't work well for close-together boobs.

One thing I noticed is that this bra has pretty wide wires for a Freya. This would work well for someone with far apart boobs. Unfortunately, this also means the straps are pretty far apart. They slide off my shoulders a lot. Not good for narrow shoulders.

I rated it down a little on quality because the inside fabric/light padding on mine is slightly bigger than the outside fabric, and this causes a minor wrinkle. Luckily, it's hardly noticeable, especially with a shirt over it.

Even with the shape problems, it's still a bra I wear regularly--it's comfortable otherwise and the cuteness makes up for it!

I bought this to deconstruct. But, it is so cute and has so much life remaining it seems shameful to cut, bend, and stitch.

The straps are a thick, supportive .8". Cup height is fantastic for short roots. The cup is best suited for shallow to average projection and average to wider root width. This wide, shallow cup design has a pleasant minimizing effect on my narrow, projected breasts. If I were only concerned about comfort, this would be at the top of my list. But, I need tbe support and lift provided by a more narrow, projected cup. The cup is somewhat open and can accommodate taller roots easily.

    Lovely.

    Fits

bought this as used, though it doesnt seem to have been used much. the bra is still in perfect shape, band is snug, and no signs of wear anywhere. yay! its a gorgeous bra, and im so happy i got my hands on it (in the right size this time!). the mint trim with roses is beautiful, and that pattern continues onto the straps. the rest of the bra is a pinstripe pattern with varying shades of white, blue, and green. appearance wise, A+!

as for the construction, this is a Freya half cup construction like the Totally Tartan and sister cuts. its got one horizontal seam, but it ... isnt so closed off that i get cutting in. the straps are wider set, like most half cups, but i dont find them so wide that they cut into my arms or fall off. i think a lot of this has to do with the band on this finally being snug enough- i do get strap issues on my 34FF Freya half cups where teh band is too loose even on the tighest setting. the band is just a hair too snug on me, so ive taken to wearing it with an extender to get one more row of hooks until it breaks in. unfortunately i get a large amount of back rolls going on with a proper fit, especially Freyas. i think its because the material of their bands are very thin and stretchy, and if it were thicker that wouldnt happen.

the cups appear to be a bit too shallow at the bottom, as i get some creasing that ive never noticed before. the gore doesnt seem to wide on this, and i dont notice the back and forth of it like i do on my 34FF versions. the wires are about 6.5 inches wide in this size, which sounds too wide going by other bras that fit, but i honestly cant tell where my breast tissue ends so im going to assume anything that isnt uncomfortable is a good fit.

all in all, super happy to have this bra in my rotation! might have to get some light shapewear for a seamless look under clothes because of the way it squashes my back, but its so comfortable that i can deal with it.

This bra is cute, but the cups are too small for me. I quad out just a tiny bit, but it is visible under a tight, thin t-shirt. It is also too shallow in the base of the cups for me.

This is my very first non-moulded bra.
I found it so cute that I had to buy it.

It wasn't the right size though.. I was still a new "bra that fits" converted and hadn't been professionally fitted at that time.
So the cups are slightly small, the band is too large.

    But how to resist?
Pretty contrast between the flowery top of the cups and the blue stripes on the cups, and the cute little blue-pink bow detail.
The fabric is a very nice, soft and supportive.

I would love more designs like this one, in a moulded cup or balconette bra.

Freya half cups are a go-to bra for me.

I don't like this style as much as the vertical seam only models, like the Patsy. But I still find these bras fit moderately well.

This model is not the same cut as the Patsy, it is a tad more closed off at the top, and that doesn't work for me.

The 32 band was also way too big on me.

This bra has been my go-to bra for ages. It's smooth under T-shirts but has enough padding to hide my nips. I love the colors and patterns. I love the cut because it makes my boobs seem fuller on top without it being a push-up bra.

  9. Love this bra! I'm a newbie to my "right" size bra, but so far Freya's padded half cups have been my favorite transition bras.

Pros - Okay this pattern is freaking adorable! Fits very similarly to all the other Freya half cups that I have so far. It may be because this bra is brand new but the fabric seems very sturdy/more durable than some of the others that I have. One of my breasts is larger than the other, but there is no gapping or quadboob, which is awesome!

Cons - Umm, literally none so far. I haven't worn this bra for a long period of time yet, so I'll update my review if something changes. I do want to say that the side underwires on this half-cup seem as though they don't go up as high as my other Freya half-cups (but this could just by my own perception). I do have some tissue escaping on the side BUT it's nothing that bugs me, and I really prefer this cut/feel.

I bought this used on a Facebook bra swap group. the owner said it had been fairly used but still wearable, so the band is pretty stretched out- take this into account for measurements sake! the cups are also much softer than i imagine a new bra would be. I'm not sure why it doesn't work- but its a shame because its surprisingly very pretty! i love the pinstripes with the mint and rose pattern- not something i would think up myself but it works really well together.

The band is too large (knew it would be when i got it) but on the tightest setting it doesn't ride ... much during the day. I'm not sure if i would size down, as the band is very well worn. A new version may very well be fine. The straps are wonderfully comfortable and soft, with a little stretch.

When i first scoop in the cups fit seamlessly, aside from the gore not tacking all the way. I'm thinking it has more to do with the bra being softened from wear than needing it larger, as pushing the gore against my chest doesn't lead to the any overspill or cutting in. Once i have had the bra on for a few minutes, i seem to settle into it and the cups gape a ton at the top- I'm thinking the under wires are too wide, and since my breasts aren't being supported from the sides by the under wires and they settle back "out", thus the gaping. i have tissue high up on my chest, so it might also be that a half-cup in the right size cant contain it and it slides back out the sides. the 34E - Freya ยป Marina Padded Half-cup (1273) doesn't do this, but the wires also seem narrower and the cup is a little too small. Then again, maybe its that the band is too loose to keep the under wires anchored to my sides, and a tighter band would fix all my problems? no idea on this one.

Even though the fit isn't right, this bra is sooo comfortable material wise! it looks awful under clothing because of the gaping, but its very soft and i love it as an around the house bra. i may consider selling it if i get better ones, but for a used bra that i was fairly certain wouldn't fit at all, i think its a pretty good deal.
