This bra works perfect as a strapless bra. I would prefer the gore to be a bit shorter and a little less coverage but other than that it is prefect. Also Be warned the band fits tight for a 28 band. I also love how you have the option to move the straps inwards to fit women both with narrower shoulders and wider. All bras should come with this option!

  2. This is the first strapless bra I've been able to wear comfortably and with confidence that it won't fall down or slip off. The long line definitely helps with the secure fit and support. The cups are nicely moulded and, unlike many other Freya bras, the top of the cup angles back in toward the chest. That's part of what makes this model work for me, the top of the cup sits smoothly against my chest. I also like that the cups provide a little more coverage compared to many other strapless bras I've tried. When I wore this bra under a strapless dress I've worn before with other bras and never got amazing compliments on, several people remarked on how well the dress fit me and flattered me. It was this bra that made the difference. I haven't yet worn it with straps, but I'm hopeful it will work just as well.

Wore this bra for my best friends wedding. This was the only one that could hold the weight of my 34J boobs. I would highly recommend this bra to anyone looking for a great strapless.

This is an excellent and beautiful bra that works VERY well under clothes. It stays up like nobody's business with little to no need for adjustment, and I have enough of an hourglass figure that any other strapless bra is perpetually trying to escape to my waist. My ribs flare out under my bustline which might help keep it from falling though. My "true size" is a 30FF, so I think I should either have gone up a cup size from this 30F, or gone up a band size to a 32F. The gore sits on a bit of boob flesh instead of flat on my sternum, and ... the bottoms of the underwires dig in to my ribs. The latter does get uncomfortable as the hours progress, but I think it would be alleviated either by changing sizes or bending the wires a little into something more my shape. The bra tends to stay quite comfortable for the first few hours, and more so if you're moving and standing, not just sitting through 8 hours of powerpoints. Even for periods longer than 8 hours without a break, I don't think it has ever made me more than mildly uncomfortable.

When this thing wears out, I think I'll go for sizing up in the band, so anyone buying this for the first time:

If you wear your bands loose or aren't as worried about comfort, your true size or a cup size down should be fine.

Otherwise, go up in the band but not the cup.

As a side note on quality, everything is great, except for the stays on the wings of the bra. They appear to be made of plastic, which means I've already gotten one a bit bent.

I wanted to try this bra because the standard Deco strapless is not really amazing for me, and the longline band looked very supportive. And it’s pretty as well! I like the pale floral pattern in the front. The cups are very stiff, and thicker than the standard Deco strapless. They measure about the same (meaning horribly wide and shallow), but the cup shape looks overall a bit more rounded here. The cups are taller than the Deco strapless in the same size, and this one has the thick seam at the top of the cups like newer Decos. The band has soft boning on the sides, silicone ... strips at the top and bottom, and 2x4 hooks.

These cups don’t seem to be really working for me. Without the straps, there’s a lot of gaping at the top. With the straps on, I get quadboob (although it doesn’t show under clothing). One reason for the bad fit is the high and wide gore, which is not even close to tacking with my close-set boobies in the way. And well, it’s just shallow. The band is very tight. Although it doesn’t taper much towards the bottom, the unstretchy bottom edge cinches my ribs and I’ve had to open a couple of lower hooks after a few hours of wear.

I don’t think that I've actually worn this as a strapless because of the cup issue, but I can imagine that it would be very supportive for someone with the right shape. It does, however, create a rather smooth look with the straps on under tight dresses and such. I think that a size down might even be better. In the end, the 28F - Freya » Deco Strapless (4233) is for me the least bad option of the ones I’ve tried so far.

This bra is very projected and VERY full on top! I can't fill the tops completely even though my shape is average projection and even. The wires are also ridiculously wide. It would be a rare breast shape that could fit this bra. Projected, tall roots, wide roots, and full on top... Sizing down would probably remedy this for me. But it makes my boobs look bigger, which I'm not complaining about. But the fit is definitely not good.

In comparison to other molded Freyas, this strapless fits at least one cup-size larger.

So, I think the band on this one is too tight for me. But it's weird - it's loose in front (tent effect), and super tight in back, cutting into my skin. The tightness of the whole thing pulls it down so the underwire hits about an inch and a half too low. So, that screws up all around fit. However, I think if the band were a little looser, and actually fit where it needed to, rather than pulling low, the cup volume and shape would be decent (I'd likely want to try it in a 30FF). There would be a question of whether it would be supportive enough at that point though. 30 bands rarely are supportive enough for me.

I adore this bra. It's the first strapless to fit me. I bought it to wear for my wedding dress, but unfortunately it doesn't work under my dress. The arm holes of the dress are too low and the bra peeks over top.

Very tight band, I'm sure this would be good on those in the 28-and-under range. Feels very secure thanks to the longline style with a good 5 hooks and eyes. I managed to hunt down a matching extender on Ebay, and the bra feels best on me with the added three columns of eyes (so, fifth setting, if it had one). The cups run large, or are very tall, and so my softish tissue pools to the bottom of the cups, and leave a gap at the top. Not at all what I want from a strapless. I'm thinking my ideal size in this would be, I don't know, maybe 32F at least, maybe even 32E? So, booby friends, I recommend you go up a band size, and down one cup to start with. Also, as most strapless bras, the cups are wide and shallow, and like the Deco, the bottom of the cups are shallow.

This seems to fit large. My current best fitting bra is a Freya Deco Honey 28G (purple.) As recommended, I sized down with this to a 28FF. The top of the cup is just *slightly* empty or eventually becomes that way (I start with a swoop and scoop to fill the cups.) The band is lovely and tight - I can wear it on the outer hooks.

The lace detail at the centre gore kind of throws me off though - the pale watercolour like flowers - I initially thought they were a stain or some other discolouration.

It does sit high on my body and therefor occasionally shows the side/armpit. I have a petite frame though, and shortish torso, so I usually have this issue.

I do agree with the recommendations to size down.
