  1. This bra is the most perfect fit I have found! For me, the fit was similar to the Cleo Juna, with a slightly larger cup than Juna in 28D and with added pushup padding. I am between a 28D and a 28DD, and both sizes were actually an OK fit (I get a touch of quadboob immediately after scoop/swoop in this size; 28DD starts to gap with wear). The cups of this bra are also narrower than Juna, IMO, so the Deco Half Cup works better for my narrow frame.

I love the beautiful, rounded shape I get in this bra and the pushup padding actually gives me ... perfect, round cleavage that doesn't disappear throughout the day (I had that problem with pushup bras in my old size, 32B). Just the great shape and cleavage would be enough to make this a winner, but the Deco half cup is also the most comfortable bra I own (nothing pokes, nothing too tight ever), and the "nude" color blends well with my very pale skin.

I would highly recommend this bra if you have average width, slight-to-shallow projection, full on bottom to even fullness breasts.

Huzzah! It fits! The band is a bit loose for a 28 band-- I'm already wearing it on hook #2, which is saddening-- but the cups fit a wide, shallow 28D, and that's really seriously all I can ask for. I also love this shade of blue.

If you are a wide, shallow 28D, however, avoid the HELL out of the Deco Plunges.

    Didn't fit

Actually this bra didn't fit me at all first. The band was too loose for me and the gore didn't lie flat between my breasts. But after washing it became a little bit tighter. And now it almost fits. The band is ok, the gore lies flat. But still the straps are too wide for me. I'm narrow, so this model is not quite good for narrows, that's why the top of the cup doesn't lie perfect.

    Fits

So, the first time I wore this bra around my mother, she looked at me and said, "What? Did you get a boob job?" She wasn't joking either. This bra is shaped so that it holds all my tissue without pushing any into my armpits, or cutting across my breast tissue. With a low cut shirt, it gives a rounded, uplifted shape that's just about impossible to achieve with my small size. This bra doesn't push my boobs into each other, or smush them down...it's a very, comfortable, natural fit. The cup design is optimal for my body and breast shape the way push-up bump pads work for many other people. This is such a durable, comfortable bra, I will buy as many of these as I can afford. This fits me as well as Panache Porcelain (in 30DD) but the cups are not full-coverage (like the Porcelain), so this is perfect for low necklines.

    • Is this the wireless one? It looks great on you. I get what you mean about avoiding full coverage cups! That's always one of my goals.

    • It is not the wireless one. The wireless one seemed more to cover me, but it didn't offer support.

    • This looks quite small on you, have you tried it in 28E?

    • I am hesitant to try it in 28E because I already get gapping at the inner edges of the cups. I feel that Freya moulded Half Cup bras are just not for me. Also, the 28E might be too broad in the wires.

  6. Well it looks like I've finally found a Deco that will work for me! I normally wear a 30DD, and after hearing that Deco cups run large, I ordered this in a 30D. The wires are a little shorter and narrower than I'd like, but nothing to disqualify it from being a good fit. This bra would work well for anyone with shallow tissue. The bra is largely unembellished, save for a few little bows. The cups do have non-removable padding, which fills about 2/3 of the cup. This seems like a great option for everyday wear when you want a little extra oomph. My sole concern with this bra is that with all that padding, the cups don't offer much coverage. My breasts have even fullness, and my areolas are *just* covered by the top of the cups. So the slightest bit of shifting in the cups, and things might start to show. So far it hasn't been an issue, but we'll see what happens with a full day of wear!

Ah, I don't even know where to begin with this bra! Just a total shape mismatch. I have quadding AND gaping happening - quadding in the middle of the cup, gaping near the strap and the center gore. I don't feel like my boobs are going to stay in this bra. The sides of the cup hardly contain me, and I feel like I'm spilling out all over the place.

    • Read your post this morning, then received the same bra in the mail this afternoon and I'm having the same problem. Very slight quad when I swoop and scoop vigorously, but gaping at the gore almost constantly. :( The height of the cups does work better for me though.., if I could just fill out the center gore area! Ugh

    • Ugh, yes! I'm so disappointed. This bra was recommended with a 1.21 weight for me, too. Hopefully Cleo Riley will come out in more basic colors and I can forget all about Deco.

    Hasn't set fit

I bought this in response to a suggestion made in comment to one of my previous Adventures based upon my being wide, top-heavy, etc. I do like the look. I really love it because it is padded toward the bottom which I usually cannot fill.

I absolutely love this bra. It is so comfortable and is perfect for my wide roots, bottom heavy but shallow breasts.

The central gore was stabbing me initially but after some bending of the wires- it was fine.

The push-up padding was not as thin as I had expected but it is also not as thick as the ones you get in most high street shops! The padding did create quite some cleavage that I'm not used to! (Quite a pleasant surprise)

I have the freya deco plunge, soft cup and the strapless in 28d. I do quadboob slightly in the 28d strapless but in this 28dd half cup push-up ... model I was getting a quadboob! How crazy is that. Unfortunately this model is sold out everywhere I looked otherwise I might consider buying it in a nude/blue, maybe try on a 28e to see how it fits.

The band was definitely too loose on me which I was severely disappointed with. This band was much looser than the other deco bras! I had to stay on the last hook for the centre gore to tack! However it is such a good comfi bra - I will probably just get a rixie clip when the band wears out!

Two pieces of advice for Freya:
    - please make more of these and make them in different colours!
-please make the bands true to size!! It was almost as if they took the wing measurements from the deco plunge and pasted those on the half cup (bearing in mind the half cup has a wider base than the deco plunge which is designed for those with narrow and talk roots)
    - please make some 26 bands!!!!!!!!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />

Bottom line: if you want to buy this try going down a band size and going up two or even three cup sizes!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    • I think that instead of Freya making 26 bands, they could just make their bands run true to size. Almost all of the Freya bras I have ever tried/owned were 28 bands that felt like 30 bands. The only 28 band Freyas that actually felt like 28 bands were the strapless styles and the longlines.

Thank you for making this review! I am waiting on my own Freya Deco Half Cup in the mail...

    • That's right! my longline however felt like a 32 band! Even on it tightest hook it did not tack! 😭 I love Freya bras but I sometimes hesitate about buying them as they are so loose in the band and are quite pricey too! Compared to Panach or Curvy Kate for example. I hope you love your new half cup! I still remember the excitement whilst waiting for it in the post too 😉
