Freya's padded half cups tend to be wide and shallow, and this is certainly no exception. It's a comfortable bra with a gorgeous design, I get some buttcrack cleavage and the gore floats well over 1cm from my chest. The cups are too shallow both at the wire and the gore for me, the straps are also VERY spaced apart, a touch moreso than previous Freyas. Otherwise, the band is great and the shoulder straps are fully adjustable.

My snug underbust is 34" exactly, and I'm wearing my Daydreamer on the middle hooks and it's a little bit loose. I'll have to move all the way in soon. I would have bought a 32F--I later got a 32F Cottage that's perfect--but this was cheap, so what can you do.

Unbelievably soft. Wire width is perfect, unlike the original Lauren which is a little wide for me. By far my favorite straps of any bra I've tried.

Trying on the Freya Daydreamer padded halfcup was the most excruciatingly painful bra experience I’ve ever had. The wires stabbed me at both ends so badly that after wearing it for 30 seconds, I was still in pain 10 minutes after I took it off. In retrospect I believe this was because the bra was far too shallow for me and my breasts were pushing it away from my body, causing the cups to tilt and the wires to dig in. Funnily enough, it didn’t *look* that terrible – there was a little quadboob, but not a huge amount, and I would say the wires were average rather than extremely wide. But with so much pain it was obviously not the right fit for me. Too bad, since it’s so pretty.

I loved this when I first put it on. It is very cute and was comfortable, at first. I wore it to work and by the end of the day I was in pain. I am still working out my UK size, so that led me back to the computer. I read somewhere that women with low rib cage body fat (also muscular women) will often prefer one band size larger than they measure for exactly this reason. That was a big light bulb moment for me. I think that while I measure 27 UB that many 28 bands, while fitting, will hurt after hours of wear. 30E is working out better for me in many cases now. I really love the online community of women helping each other find well fitting bras!!

  7. I LOVE Freya half cups. Everything about them is so soft. The straps are nicely wide and padded. The back band is maybe 2 inches larger than tighter-running brands like Cleo, but that's perfect for me. It feels super soft and comfy all day.

    • I wear the same size as you. Do you know how this compares with other Freya half cups, such as Patsy? Patsy fits me well. It looks like the cup edge might be less visible through clothes on this one, though, which would be nice. Thanks!

    • letstalkaboutbras i've never tried the patsy but i have 2 other freya half cups (the Eden and the Pansy longline) and they fit me just about exactly the same (except that the band of the Eden is different, but it's a new style this season). I'd say all the half cups are pretty consistent so if one of them fits you well I'd really recommend trying other ones. This one has been pretty discreet under loose clothes at least.

    • Thanks! If I can find a good deal in my size, I'll definitely pick one up. I think the pattern is really pretty.

I am between sizes. 34D is too small for my larger side and 34DD is too big all around - band and cups. Mot enough center fullness, I guess.

Lovely cute bra, with a nice soft fabric.

As for the Freya Erin, I like the contrast between the top of the cups and the cups themselves, here a cream part with multicolour dots, and a flowery part.
The little green bows and buttons are also a very cute addition.

I noticed that I need a cup smaller with the half-cup bras, probably because Im not at all full on top.
Apart from that, it's a very nice comfy bra.

this is part of an order i did just to size check, so i cant give a review about anything i would notice during actual wear. ive got this on just long enough to leave a review, and then its on the way back. because ive already reviewed this in a 32G, i wont bother going into many details that are the same, or posting a whole new round of photos.

in comparison to the 32G, this band actually does feel too snug. it's only by a small amount, and it's most likely because the cups are too small. it doesn't hurt, but i can tell the wires are ... warping a bit. one hook on the extender fixes it fine, so i'd likely stay with a 32 band and it would relax quickly. 34 bands tend to be too loose, and id rather get the most life possible out of a bra. i also find that straps on the 34 band half cups are always wider set then on sister sized up 32 band of the same style- and i really cant stand that.

i get some minor overspill, mostly on the left side which is larger and more projected. its more noticeable when i push the underwires closer to the armpit side, because it gets more of my tissue in. if the underwires completely filled the channels at both the gore and the underarm, i would have much more noticeable spill. the wire width feels fine, furthering my confusion about what width i think i need. the straps feel good as well- they are set farther apart because of the half cup shape but not so far that i feel they may slip.

definitely a pretty bra, and hopefully one i will be purchasing later on in a 32FF or 32G.
