I love this bikini. I could probably wear it and no one would think there were anything wrong with the fit of it what so ever. But it is. My boobs are south and my band is north. Still even now the wires are somewhat distorted due to my ribcage.

I took my typical pics with pushing boob up against chest to show how shallow the bra should be to support me.

If I lean over I quad a little in the center. The gore is too separated, the cups are too projected combined with too small.

The wires are too narrow on the bottom so that when I ... scope I get extra fabric on the bottom since my bottom is more straight not curved like a typical wire.

I don't have particularly big boobs but this bikini still cannot hold me. To make it fit I would probably need to strangle myself with a 32 band and size up to 32H. But I wouldn't be comfortable running around like that.

Neither am I comfortable in this way to non supportive bikini. Even if it is extremely beautiful.

It's beautiful indeed. But I have issues with mine too... and honestly it does not feel supportive at all (even when I tie the band together on the back to get a smaller band lenght)
Now I don't know If Bikinis do not feel supportive at all (even in the right size) or if it's just that one.

    • I would say CK bikinis are supportive. But I either need a too small cup or a too tight band to make anything work :D

This top did not fit at all. While it fit more so at the bottom of the cup, I did not fill out the top. The band size was good.

Bought this bikini top in multiple sizes. For me, the 32E was way too tight. The gore poked into the sternum, I had fat overhanging around the band. The 34DD was much better. However, the top felt great in the cups.

  4. West End Plunge Bikini Top (3483)

There's not much to say about this, other than: I wish Freya made bras based on their swimsuit designs. My soft boobs don't usually get along with plunges, but this was the best plunge I've even worn, and with a low-cut dress it gave me the best cleavage I've had in years. Change the fabric, and pop on some hooks & eyes to replace the clasp, and I'd be buying this in multiple colours.

The size runs the same as any other Freya.

One thing to watch out for- the colour is almost orangey-red, less red than the stock photos.

I love this bikini so much. It's super sexy and cute without being too revealing or frilly or loud. The bottoms fit me wonderfully, but unfortunately I got the top years ago, while I was still searching for my size (and my boobs have grown a bit since.) The band is too big and the cups a bit too small for me (though the fabric does expand slightly in water.)

The back doesn't have multiple rows of hooks- there's just one sort of buckle thing, so it's not adjustable. I recommend going for your true back size in this bra, no more!

The quality and support are great though. If ... you want a bikini that you can wear for some real swimming and still look great sunning yourself on the beach, this is definitely up your alley https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

My only complaint is that the strap detail sometimes pokes in the armpit, but I have quite narrow shoulders, so it really does rest on top of my armpit- it might fit better on someone with broader shoulders.

    Didn't fit

I bought this as I was still losing a bit of weight. At the time I was buying Freya bras in 30GG and when I received this bikini I was thrilled: I hadn't had such a comfortable bikini in years (previously I was wearing a 34FF Freya triangular number with tie string halter and tie string back ... and was tieing it as short as I could).

Now that I wear a 28GG in Cleo, 30G in Panache and 30G in Freya and Fauve this is clearly too big on me.

I was never happy with the 30 back and really noticed that it doesn't hold me firmly in the 30 Pier. It's a generous back, if you're between sizes go for the smaller.

This summer (Australia 2012/2013) I bought the same model in Jitterbug 28GG. See my review - it's a better fit for me now!

Comfortable, a little smaller cups (only fractionally). The colour is darker, more beige/orange/rose than on Brastop´s photos.

Unfortunately, unlike my other 30F freya bras, this tankini seems to be a bit...loose? in the cups. I am reluctant to say that it is big, because it just seems to be more of a product of not having underwires more than anything.

This tankini is SUPER cut, very soft and comfy. I do feel relatively well supported, much more so than wearing XS/S regular bathing suit tops that are available. This actually does account for having some breast tissue, which is fantastic!

It does give a slightly pointy shape, which is less than desirable, but that could have to do with the loose cup/possibly too big cup issue. Despite ... the minor problems, it's adorable, it leaves room for the boobs, and it will work fabulously on the beach or when doing not so rigorous activities in the water.

I should also add that due to the lack of underwire, this probably works better for me because I don't need much "lift" in a bra or bikini. It really is just a regular bikini top that accounts for 'larger' breasts versus what you can typically find in the store. I probably wouldn't call it incredibly supportive, but it works for me.

  11. Lindy Hop Sweetheart Padded Bikini Top (3347)

I love the way this bikini looks and feels. It's really beautiful, and very, very comfortable.

On two occasions I wore it under dresses when I planned to go swimming and didn't end up going in the water, and it not only looked great as a bra under the dresses, it also remained comfortable for a good few hours.

I did pop out of it once or twice when I went swimming, but I fear that was more of a bigger-breasts-at-that-time-of-the-month issue, and as long as I'm able to rectify the problem underwater, I can live with it.

Not the right size for me.
The band is OK, quite perfect. But the cups are too small. Massive quadraboob, probably need 2 cup sizes bigger, so I would need to try 32GG.

As for the rest, the bikini top is lovely. Very well made, comfy and beautiful. No complains other than size.

The classic bottom I ordered in M size was a bit too big for my EU38 size. Too much fabric for my taste and the back! It came too high in my back!

The bra is too big, I get wrinkles in the cup, which surprised me as I have the balconette in 32F and felt it wouldn't hurt if the cups were a little bigger and I've read that it sometimes works on a plunge to size up in the cups. I'm going to return it. Maybe I'll try it in 32F. It's definitely the Best bikini I ever had. The band is fine now but I hope it won't strecht too much. Beginning to wonder if I might fare better with a 30 band.

    32DD

    Fits

This was my first bandeau bikini bra and also my first Freya bra. I bought it online, so I had to guess the right size. Assuming it was similar as my usual 34DD/34E, I first ordered it in 34E. The band was too big and the cups were also 2 sizes too big. So I returned it and ordered the 32DD instead. It looks and feels very good with the soft halter strap and slightly padded cups, but the cups are a little snug for my boobs a few days in the month. I am not sure that a 32E would have been perfect for me anyway, so I am happy that this bikini is my 2012 summer beach winner.

    28GG

    Didn't fit

Got this set from ebay (with the boy short bottoms) in the Apple Sour colorway. Tried on before measuring, but has not been worn yet.

I could not tell from the images or reviews I found online, so I'll say it here: this is an unpadded plunge, but it is lined and the material is fairly thick, so it's modest despite having so much white in the pattern.

The fit is pretty forgiving due to the stretchy cup, but the band does run pretty tight for Freya (still not super tight, as I could not fit into a tight 28 band-- but it is a bit tight for me. I ... think it will likely loosen in the water, though, and I can't find this top in 30G, my alternate Freya size).

A very cute set-- if you like the look of the set, you will probably like it on! Order true to normal Freya sizing. I'm a big fan of bright green, and I love cheerful prints for swim suits-- I feel gorgeous in this, and like I can actually swim (I have no use for decorative swimsuits that will fall off if you actually like to swim), while looking pretty damn good.

The shorts fit like I had hoped, which means no major concerns about the bikini line being as freshly trimmed as possible. I like the look of short shorts better for swimsuits, as my hips are not very wide and I like to emphasize the width a bit.

I haven't swam in it yet, so I can't review it fully yet, but so far, so good!

The good is that this is a cute suit.

The bad is that the band is just a strip of power net, so there's no way to adjust it. The 32 is too big around for me, and so the suit itself doesn't offer much support. I can hike it up a certain amount by adjusting the ties, but it would be much more comfortable with an actual bra band, and tends to sag (excuse the poor cell phone photos, but I thought they'd be helpful. Note the one looking down into the cups - that's the view if the band is at all too large). And if ... I went down a size, I don't know how I'd get it on - as it is, it's a bit of a struggle. Which leads to my other concern...

The model photos suggest a bit more ease around the middle than what I experienced. I've found that that the middle runs fairly tight. If I bought it in a 30GG (or even an H), I don't see A: how I'd get it on or B: how I'd be able to breathe.

It's an adorable suit, and I know it works for some, but I won't buy another swimsuit without a proper bra band.

Overall I like this bikini. I could use a firmer back band. (When I order it the 32E I wanted was out of stock, so I order the 34DD instead.) I do still get the pain-in-the-neck associated with halter neck bikinis in this top. I have thought about bring this to a seamstress to see if they could alter the band to make it fit me better, but I'm not sure if altering the back band would help with that. To get the uplifted bust, I think I would still have to tie the neck the strap almost as tight as I tie it now.

I do pop out of the top of the cups a little (quad-boob), but I don't think I would want the cups to be any larger. There is also some wrinkling at the bottom of the cups. I'm also always adjusting the cups/straps to keep my arm-pit fat hidden/contained.

This is an INCREDIBLY comfortable bikini top. It's supportive, doesn't exactly look like a bra, and the flirty pattern is really cute. For once, I didn't have to worry about a wardrobe malfunction.

The biggest con- the straps to tie around your neck are VERY long.

    Didn't fit

I was looking for a good and cheap bikini so I tried ordering my sister size 34F as sometimes a 34 band is fine for me.
No luck at all https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> It is definitively too big in the band. Also, I have a bit of a quadraboob with the F cup, so probably the right size for me would be 32G.
The centre gore doesn't lie flat and I don't fill the cups in the bottom. I believe this is because the band is too big and the cups rides big.

Otherwise, I found it more beautiful than in the pictures, because the colors ... are brighter. I like this kind of Freya Bandless bikinis because they show more flesh and I like the sun to hit the as much as possible when at the beach.

Although it didn't fit me, it seemed comfy and supportive. The lycra it has is very stretchy.

I also ordered the side tied bottom in a M size and I think it is a bit too big for my EU 38 size. I can tie it firmer but I find Freya bottoms have a bit too much fabric for my beachy taste https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
