Beautiful bra. Fits my shape well but too small.

Really pretty, the wires just dug into my arms too much and the cups were a bit too big. The material is a bit stiff but that'd probably go away with a few washes. Band is only somewhat stretchy.

In my next life I want to be the person who picks the names for the bras https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> because this one is named perfectly, at least from a romanticized, Euro-centric point of view! The delicate embroidery and lace details are reminiscent of Hindu temple architecture; the color I am sure is in a spice market somewhere. Like all Fauve's, stunningly beautiful, well-made, top quality luxury and comfort. The red is not true red, it is tomato-chili. An embroidered layer of exactly matching net lies over the lightly padded softly lined 3-part half cups. The paisley-patterned embroidery is shades of brown, shrimp and ... rose; the arched lace openwork runs along the top of the cups, the bottom of the band and repeats at the clasp. There is another bit of matching red triangle trim that runs the entire length of the straps, both sides, and along the back of the band. Nothing shows through clothes. The band is snug and not stretchy, a single layer of power mesh that I can comfortably fasten on middle hooks (I take a 32, this is a 34 so I was happy it wasn't huge). The soft straps are fully adjustable. The gore is narrow and low; the wires are about average width - less than 1/2 finger-width extra on the sides but still enough to center the girls and no poking or pain. Thankfully the wires, like all Fauves, are flexible enough to bend and I will! The wires are covered in a soft plush. It is deep enough at the apex, a tad shallow at the bottom (every bra except EM is too shallow for my crazy immediate projection); not shallow enough to ride down, just enough to effectively push up. Since this is a 34E sister size for my 32F, the cups cut in a bit right at the top but its not un-wearable, just gives more of the 'soft hills' look. I think Fauve scales for even breasts? I don't think this would be very good for center fullness, either, since it swoops pretty steeply and firmly toward the gore. Anyway, it gives me a lifted, rounded 'green' shape that is not in-your-face center & forward, but very feminine and soft. I love it!

When I thought this was the way a bra should fit, I found it very comfortable and supportive, but since then I realized this size (34E) was too big in the band and too small in the cups.

It's still pretty though even though I prefer this bra in the eggplant color.

Unfortunately I think I am actually a 34F or larger. but have been making do with this bra as I bought it during a busy time for me and wasn't able to continue the shopping/trying on process. It is a great bra, it's just the wrong cup size.

This is another beautifully made Fauve bra. It's a 3-part cup with soft embroidered lace, and not really "padded," but heavily lined. It's a gorgeous, classic kind of pretty, but I don't know that I'd recommend wearing under a thin top. I haven't tried that yet and I suspect the embroidery would show through. The picot edgings on the lace folds around the cups a bit, but it's soft so hasn't caused problems for me. You might want to watch that if you have super-sensitive skin?

I have this bra and a Fauve Pearl (also a padded half-cup) in 34F at the same time, and this one is the ... one I'm keeping. The band is reasonably firm, but has a little more give than the Pearl, and again is 2 hooks. The wires are just about wide enough. They come to the front edge of my underarm, and while they're sitting on just a bit of breast tissue, they're still comfortable. The cups are shallowly shaped, which is perfect for me since I often have orange-in-a-glass kinds of problems. This bra wants you to have some fullness on top — more than I do — but the gapping isn't that noticeable. The gore is nicely narrow and I'm a huge fan of how it's a bit lower in the center than many half-cups and balconettes.

One other thing to note is that the straps are decorated and not fully adjustable. They're also set just about as widely as I'd ever want. Neither of these things are a problem for me in this case, but could be negatives for others.

This was the first bra I purchased after being fitted, and I've had it for more than three years now, and for about two years I thought this was how a bra should fit.

Now I realize that the fitter should have done her job a bit better, since the band has always rode up a bit even before it stretched out after wearing and washing the bra for several years. I imagine that a 70FF would suit me better and be even more comfortable.

I love the eggplant-ish color and the semi subtle embroidery, and wish I could get my hands on this bra in my right size.
