Despite how snug this bra fits me (I went down a size to wear as a strapless) I still love it. I actually wear it quite often with the straps. I love the shape it gives under my clothes and find I can buy just about any top I want without worrying whether my straps or other bra areas will be showing.
This shape is all wrong for me. The cup wrinkles on the bottom where my breasts doesn't fill it, but then the top of the cuo cuts into my breast. The wires dig into my sternum terribly. Just all around bad.
I wanted to love this bra, but it seems we simply weren't meant to be. I would say this band runs true to size. For my 29 in ribcage, the 32 band only fit snugly enough on the tightest set of hooks. The cups seem a little big; this could be due to the molded fabric. For those interested in ordering, order your usual size or your +0 band size + 1 cup size down (i.e. I should have bought a 30G or 30FF). A lot of my fit issues with this bra are likely due to it being the wrong size/shape for me. The color doesn't show even under thin white shirts, although the molded fabric is noticeable. It's really a standard nude bra, and its aesthetics are plain and functional. The detachable straps also make it a wardrobe workhorse. I think it would likely fit really well on someone with projected, firmer tissue and wider roots than mine.
This is huge, for an F cup. The band is nice, I feel it will be too big after a while because I can fasten it on the smallest hook. I'm really in between a 28 and 30 band it seems, depending on the brand. But it gaps at the top on both breasts, where the cups are just clearly too big. And the center gore is very high on me, it pokes into my sternum and gets painful very quickly - and that's not something I'm sure a smaller cup size can fix. If it fit properly, this would be a very supportive (if somewhat ugly) strapless bra.
If I had this in a 32 instead of a 34, I think it would fit perfectly. Strapless bras will always be a bit finicky when you have larger boobs but if the band was tighter I think it'd stay up much more comfortably. It's a serviceable bra, it does what I need it too. The appearance is rather bland for me (I prefer a more feminine, lacy style) but I was so relieved to find a strapless bra in my size (I dropped a band size since I bought it) that I didn't really care.
i bought this bra maybe 3 or 4 years ago....before i knew my real bra size, because like a lot of women i was wearing the wrong bra size, i didnt knew that the band was supposed to fit in the loosest hooks!! jajaja.... And it is in great shape, I don't wear it often, first, because I bought it for a dress that I wore once and second because it doesn't fit right, the band is ok, it fits only on the tightest row of hooks, and even in that row is a little loose, but wearable, to tell you the truth the times I have used ...it stays in place, I guess is because the band is very well built and it is sturdy, the cups are a little big too, ( if I wear it all day the wires hurt a little)but I can get away with it depending on the blouse or dress I put on. I love the bra, I want to buy it again, I hope to find one in my size and in nude color. Beautiful, basic strapless bra. Read more 78 more words
This bra fit perfectly when I got it. I have since gained weight, so it does not anymore. But when I got it, it covered very well and did not ever slide down when I wore it without the straps. If I do wear the straps, they do not always stay on. Sometimes they will just pop off in the front, which is very annoying.
