I bought this bra in a 36FF about 18 months ago, almost at the beginning of my ABTF search. It was so pretty but much too big all over. I was still learning about fit and it was not a good choice. My friend was very happy to receive it and I moved on to purchase many more bras that are most likely also not a good fit.
However, I keep seeing this one on Amazon and loved the raspberry colorway. It was only $35 so I took a chance on the smaller size. It is still as pretty as I remembered the first one and also does not ...fit. The band is large and I would have to start it on the second hook. It sits below my IMF, the bottom of the band is itchy and the straps seem excessively long. The cups mostly fit but the lace on the cups is loose and wrinkles. Idk where the side support is supposed to be happening but it wasn't noticeable. It's an all over funky fit!
There are two issues with this bra. One is the size and/or shape is wrong for me but I think the real issue is that this is an irregular or factory reject bra that was wholesaled to resellers. It's on the way back to Amazon and perhaps someone else will find it to be a perfect fit.
I am in love with this bra! I am FOB with short roots, soft & pendulous tissue, and in need of immediate projection. This bra delivered everything I needed. I don't even have gapping at the top on my smaller side. I can easily wear this all day, in fact I think I could sleep in it. And it's GORGEOUS. The cups are made of an ivory thin foam with a satin face, which is mostly covered by black lace. The back is just black mesh. There are tiny tulle bows at the straps and top of the gore, plus a teardrop-shaped crystal at the gore. I have the matching knicker as well, which has a tulle bow and keyhole at the top of the sheer lace back. A great purchase, and I hope to see Fantasie keep this bra for next season too (in a new color, though I think the Shadow color is one of the most beautiful features of the bra).
This is for the side support Savannah, which is far different from the one without. This has been my go-to bra for several years and I love it. I have soft full breasts and like the Freya Arabella as much as this bra for the narrow wires, front projection and all day comfort.
Bought for my mum. Fits her well. She's got soft, close-set breasts and average, maybe slightly narrow roots for her size. There's only some wrinkling at the top edge, but it doesn't affect the fit or support, and a size down is too small. On me (usually 30G) it's a total disaster, obviously.
The gore of this bra is too tall and wide for my center-full boobs, so it kind of tilts sideways and rests on one boob. There is also a lot of wrinkling in the top corner where the strap connects with the cup.
This bra is EXTREMELY similar to the Panache Sculptresse Pure. It serves the exact same purpose, to invisibly give you a great shape under clothing. Even the fit is almost the same, right down to the cup size being just a teensy bit too small for my left boob. The only reasons I picked it over the Pure were entirely subjective. In fact, objectively speaking, the Pure is probably a better bra if for no other reason than that the felt lining on the band makes it really comfortable compared to basically every other bra I've ever tried in the seamless/smoothing category. BUT -- the Fantasie gave me ...-- and I emphasize ME -- a slightly better shape. Your mileage may vary, but on me, it gave me a perkier shape than the Pure, to the point where I had sexy (but not extreme) cleavage. That usually never happens on me since I'm so pendulous/wide set. It also stayed put better than the Pure during the most extreme part of my "testing" process, which was zipping up the back of my favorite clingy dress. The Pure slid around a bit and required readjustment after twisting myself into a pretzel; the Fantasie did not. (Part of this may be due to the smaller band size, but there is no possible way I would have fit into a 34FF in the Pure even if it had been available -- the 36F was PLENTY snug.) The Fantasie is ever-so-slightly prettier to look at than the Pure, with shiny fabric and a cute minimalist bow on the gore. Plus the "nude" color matches my light skin tone better on the Fantasie than on the Pure. (Obviously this won't be the case for everyone.) In the end, it was almost a coin-flip decision, but I went with the Fantasie. It was a better fit FOR ME this time around. But I would still wholeheartedly recommend the Pure to anyone, if you can find it in your size!
Pros: Slightly cuter than the Pure and much more widely available while offering most of the same benefits. On me, gave a slightly better shape, as well ... but YMMV.
Cons: Single-layer cup construction offers less nipple coverage/modesty than the Pure, doesn't have soft felt on the band like the Pure Read more 273 more words
Oh, my Lord, this was a tough call on the sizing between the 36F and the 34FF. The band very definitely fit me better with the 34FF. But during my first try-on, the way I was filling out the cups made them take on a slightly pointy shape, which I hate. So I fussed around with the straps and shoved my tissue around, and finally figured out how to arrange things so the shape was more natural. And thank goodness I took the time to do all that! Because once everything was situated properly, this bra looked FANTASTIC in the 34FF. I would honestly walk down Main ...Street in my town wearing this bra and feel proud. Okay, maybe that's overkill, but seriously, this bra is SEX. I feel beautiful wearing it. And it looks great under clothes, too, as long as they aren't too sheer (the floral pattern may show through) or thin/clingy (the seam and lace can create a slight ripple effect in the fabric, nothing too drastic, but it's not always 100% smooth). What I really appreciate about it is that its side support panels give me a much narrower silhouette -- I seriously look like I've lost ten pounds when I put it on -- while the soft stretchy cups allow my breasts to move in a natural way while still being well-supported. It's a great, natural, sexy AF look and I love it. This one, I'm definitely keeping; in fact, I'm wearing it as I write this review. I may even buy another one!
Pros: Beautiful styling, extraordinarily comfortable and lightweight, supportive without adding bulk (in fact, it REDUCES bulk), in stock for $39 at Amazon with Prime shipping and free returns
Cons: Floral pattern, lace or seam may show through extremely sheer or thin fabrics Read more 192 more words
This is either a shape mismatch for me or the shape of the bra (pointy) I no longer wear this size (34FF) but when I did I had no problems with the fantasie seamless (4520) I’m pretty firm, with average or above projection and I believe to be center full with narrow roots.
This bra gives a pointy shape. While it’s out of my size range now (30G/30FF) when it was my size (34FF) it still gave a pointy shape. I have average or above projection, narrow roots, and believe I’m center full. I wore the Fantasie Seamless balcony bra (4520) comfortably in the same size so I believe it’s a shape mismatch for me or the shape of the bra.
I tried this bra in a 32G and literally could not hook it on the loosest hook. So here it is in a 34FF - on the tightest hooks and still too loose. The cups are slightly too large but not as much so as the 32G was. This is certainly a comfortable bra but it's proving difficult to find the right size. I just remembered that the 32G was black and the 34FF is nude. So maybe there's a difference in the band due to color, as I've heard can happen.
The band is VERY stretchy. Right from the start, I can hook the band on the tightest hook and it is still too big. The wires are too wide for me. The gore doesn't tack but that's because the band is too big, I think. The straps are also VERY stretchy. They are as tight as they can be and aren't short enough. This may be because they are convertible - the straps need to be longer to accommodate the criss-cross option. So I tried it on with the straps crossed, and it is definitely better with the straps. But the cups have serious quadding and the gore is floating farther away so the cups are just not right. If the cups were right, I would keep this bra (or order it in a 32 band) and wear it criss-crossed because it seems very comfortable that way.
This currently my favorite bra because it is quite comfortable. I am short-waisted and this bra does not stab me in the underarms. The band is a little stretchier than other brands. I originally bought this 34FF but then bought a 32FF because it is clear that the 34FF will stretch out and be too big. I did not go up in cup size.
This is a full coverage bra, I was looking for an every day comfy t shirt bra. Sadly this just didn't fit properly, It came up very high under my armpit but I was filling the cups at the bottom so I think a cup size down would not have been a solution. I have full on the bottom boobs and I did have a very slight gap where cup joins strap at the top. But have had moulded bras look worse than this one, I would say this is softly moulded. Its a shame as this would have been ideal style wise for me if it had fitted.
