I am a Fantasie fangirl, and this bra is a good example why. Everything is perfect about this unlined beauty otherwise! Sophisticated baroque red & white damask print, delicate high-quality lace trim, superior quality construction with softness everywhere it touches skin especially the straps, nice firm band with just enough give so you don't feel it all day, lovely firm wires that can adjust a little in their channels, uplift & centering with a great natural profile under clothes, nicely deep at the bottom of the cups for immediate projection. The straps are fully adjustable, the band has two hooks and three sets for when/if it ever stretches ...out (Fantasies really wear, so it could be a while). Its kind of a hybrid between a balcony and a plunge, I think, because it has a low gore and swoops down, yet still provides balcony coverage. The bra feels and looks very sophisticated and feminine. I wish it fit, but since it is a Fantasie it is true to size, and since it is a balcony I can't get away with a cup size too small! Read more 78 more words
I got this bra via Bratabase as a 32E and then Franken-bra'd it into a 30F by folding & sewing the bands. More on that later.
QUALITY: The fabric is consistently firm with a silky inner lining. The lace along the top is charming and smooth as can be, not to mention snag-resistant, and the stretch mesh on the band perfectly matches the cup fabric and yet is crazy elastic. I do sort of wish the band was 2-ply because it can itch a bit. Plushy elastic and soft, luxurious wire channels. COMFORT/FIT: As a result of my modification experiments, the cups are a little odd - the wires ...are way wide, but since they don't rub or effect the side support of the bra, I ain't mad at it. The gore is a little high and presses in after a few hours, but that is the way of the world for those of us who have too much centered tissue for plunge bras and yet have close-set tits. I consider this modification an overall victory! APPEARANCE: It's nice! The shape is par for the course with other Fantasie bras - uplifted, rounded, on straight up lockdown until you take it off. The seams disappear under just about any shirt, bless them.

Wire width on this is perfect for my wide-set boobs, good containment on the sides. Cups are a bit big at the top, but I can't fill out the tops of pretty much anything. I should be able to take it in near the gore to get it to lay better on top, though.
I would recommend this bra to anyone who loves the shape of the unpadded Cleo balconettes but finds themselves between sizes, even more so if the size that fits in the wire and bottom of the cup is too deep in the upper cup. Order the smaller of the two cup sizes- I find the 30DD Celia fits me wire and wing-wise like the 30E Cleos, but isn't nearly as deep.
This is a very pretty, super-comfortable bra which offers good lift up and forwards (probably more of a Meg shape on me than a Bella/Melissa, but still very good). I have low-set breasts and the ...wire/wing comes pretty high under my armpit (which I love as it minimises sideboob), but this may be a problem for anyone often troubled by wires. The sole downside of this bra for me is the loose and super-stretchy band. I can fasten it on the tightest hook and still feel comfortable (I measure 29). I think I'm going to keep the bra and hope it doesn't stretch too much, but I have small breasts which don't need too much support. If you're sub-30, this band will probably be too loose.
There is a teeny bit of loose material at the seam/apex, but it's smooth on the lace at the top - this may be not be so good if you're fuller on top. Otherwise it's a great fit. I'd love Fantasie to bring out a plain cream/white bra in the same style to wear under light tops. Read more 151 more words
This bra is comfortable and pretty, but seems to have a design flaw in the cups - it creates a line across my breasts, despite seeming to fit in the lower part of the cup. It is almost as if the edge of the cup is pulled tighter than the rest of it. It also digs into my sternum at times, but that is due to a design flaw in my rib cage. The band has stretched quite a bit. I do like it, though, and it has been apart of my daily rotation for almost a year.
It fits on my smallest days, but I'm too pointy to wear it well. It's well made. The material is soft and the straps are wide and super soft. The rigid upper lace and the narrow wires are the reasons why this is not my perfect bra. I believe it runs large in the band.
I love this bra! It's really soft, comfortable, and it has a cute pattern. The quality of the fabric seems very good.
Unfortunately, the strap doesn't seem tight enough, and the cup seems too tall even after the swoop and scoop and tightening the straps. I plan on exchanging to see if going down a band and cup size (to 30G) will help fix anything...I really hope it does!
This bra is so pretty and fantastically comfortable (I currently rate it at good but if the band fit better it would be excellent). It is close to being the right fit for me but the band feels like it is rising on the back. After 3 wears I put it to the tightest hook and still felt like it was riding up. The band is very stretchy and while I fit a 30F wonderfully in the Panache » Sport (5021) the 30 band in this one is just too loose. Arguably I am a 29" bending over and 28" when standing up so I believe a band size down and a cup size up should set things right. However even with a too loose back it still does a great job at support with little of the weight going to the shoulders which I was rather impressed with.
