    Didn't fit

This bra is just gorgerous. It is a floral print that I really like everything about. I tried the 32J - Fantasie » Camilla Side Support Bra (FL3122) a few months ago and I found the bra a bit too tall and the wires too wide. I also lost a bit of weight since then, so I decided to pick up a smaller size in the sale. (I couldn't find 32H or 32HH so I decided to try the 30HH since I found the bra on the 32J to be quite stretchy).

So... no it does not work. The band is not too tight I don't even ... need an extender to close it. It stretches to almost 32in so it runs larger more like a tight 32 band would fit. The wires are a good width for me and the cups are not too tall. The bra fits well on the bottom half, but I find that there is not so much room at the center. Also the gore is a bit wide, I'd prefer a more narrow gore.

The upper half of the cups is made of a very pretty stretchy lace... and it is lined with beige non stretchy mesh. Like why make stretchy lace then line it with unstretchy fabric? It makes no sense. Like it is either a bra with stretchy lace or not. I hate when they do that. I also hate the elastic band at the cup edge that cuts in. Why??? Would the cups fall off if it wasn't there? Would the boobs fall out? Okay enough of a rant, the bra is just not made for my tall, full - on - top shape. I have to accept it and move on but oh this is the most gorgerous floral print I ever saw on a Fantasie bra. The only way to top this would be this on a cool toned pink background with pink lace. They better not do it or I will be even more sad.

    • Sorry it didn't work for you, it is very pretty!

    • It’s so pretty! Shame it is still not a good fit in a different size. I also hate elastic cup edging. It’s almost always done too tight and it digs into my soft tissue.

    • I'm not sure why they EVER put elastic on cup edges. I mean, even a firm breast still squishes??

I don't know why they do this. It would cut in on my firm tissue also.

I think they do it to keep the straps closer together at front- the elastic helps the lace not stretch out allowing the strap to slip down.

    • cupandahalf yes that could be a reason for it. Do you do alternations of your Elomi bras still? Cut that elastic ribbon out? Does it affect if the straps slip down more easily?
The straps slipping off the shoulders is a problem of narrow shoulders and a bra that is intended for a wider frame or just straps too wide set.

I haven’t paid attention actually. I have sloping shoulders so I think straps slip off me no matter what, even with really centered straps.

Yes, I do use a seam ripper to cut the elastic off the top cup on my larger side. Works really well to prevent that digging in.

    • Maybe my shoudlers are not that narrow just sloping? :S
