    SM Wanilia is an unlined sheer white bra, with pink flower accents and a pink n white polka dot gore bow. The cup construction in this size (60L) has 3 lower sections with 2 vertical seams, an upper section above the horizontal seam, plus an outer wedge section that connects the strap to the cup. The lower cup range will have only 2 lower sections and a single vertical seam instead of 2. The band is an opaque white power mesh without lace. As with all SM style bras, the cups have no stretch to them, and not a lot of give. This provides firm support but is ... not very forgiving to size or hormone fluctuations, nor is it flexible if you are between sizes. If you need more flexibility with fit and sizing, you are better off going with Ewa’s BM or SF styles instead which both have stretch lace on the top half of the cups.

    I ordered this from the wonderful MagdaBras4you. I love my sheer SM Czarna Mgielka, sexy yet supportive and a wonderful fit, so I took a chance on this one even though I am not fond of pink. The fit is very similar to the Czarna Mgielka though not identical, but I am still happy with the fit. The cups themselves are smooth (aside from the top of the lace trim) without any gaping or wrinkling except at the bottom of the wire which isn’t terrible. If that top lace was smooth, I’d get quadding so I am okay with this frill not being smooth against the skin. Clearly the armpit curve is too straight and does meet armpit resistance, but it’s not terrible and lowering this curve is an easy alteration for me. The gore is 1.75 fingers off my sternum but if it tacked the cups would be too small, so I’m good with this as it’s comfortable. The band is nice and comfy on the tightest hook set, and far more supportive since the band is firmer than the recent “runs big” trend. Overall I am happy with it!

    For the technical aspects:

    All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

    The band measures 22” and stretches to a max of 27.25”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
    1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 13.125”
    2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.125”

    I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

      A monumental example of how thin sheer materials help visualize distribution of forces. Well uniform in both directions = no wrinkles.

      I really loved to see the underwires at work on the sides, must be a very comforting perception.

      Now please, for my learning curve, what is the purose of that embelishement where the side bone would be ? A decorated bone pocket ?

      A lovely cup geometry for a lovely bra. Must be quite a hugger, looks sheer delicate but fit for the job. Adorable !

      Wish you many excellent days in it's company.

      femineaaeterna The wing just has a pink ribbon covering the seam connection of the cradle to band but no boning at the connection. So the side embellishment is just for looks not support.
      I too love the sheer cups as they demonstrate so well where the fit issue are if any. It shows how the underwires curve with the breast or if they don't follow ones IMF. Wonderful self learning bra for fit indeed. Plus it also is a confidence booster that helps you feel sexy all while being supportive. A total win win bra. 💕

      @AprilGoulding Thank you 💕
