  1. This bra has been on my wishlist for years, and it has been discontinued for several years now as well, so when I saw jlcl119 selling it in my sister size I couldn't pass it up! I've come to realize that I prefer the BM shape over the SM, but like I said, I couldn't pass this up https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> It fits pretty much identical to my SM Summertime, with the embroidered cups and everything. The only differences are the larger band (which I may take in if I'm feeling confident in my sewing skills), and the straps. These straps ... are different than anything I've seen from EM before. They're wide, stretchy, soft, and smooth. I'll have to see if they loosen throughout a day's wear or not. The band of the bra and the material of the coordinating thong and briefs are all made of a really soft jersey material, so it's super comfy.

Overall, I think this is a stunning set, and I'm so lucky and grateful to jlcl119 for putting it up for sale!

    Fits

This is the second SM I acquired. After my success with the Burek, I saw this on eBay and made it mine.

Fit is typical for me and the SM.
The band is good in a 65. It's made of a really soft t-shirt type jersey material, but it's thick. Looking at it and touching it, you'd think it's really stretchy but it's not. The elastic on the band is really firm and really wide. So I get less red marks with this than I do the others.
The straps are a bit wider than the other SMs and are also really firm. They stay adjusted just fine. They're also ... shorter than the black ones I have, so they accommodate my high rack without having to have the adjuster all the way to the top.
The cups are good. A bit on the small side perhaps. I get a bit of quadding on my left and my right is about perfect. Fine with me. I don't slip and it isn't noticeable, so I don't care.
The color is a really pretty raspberry red on the band and a true red in the cup mesh.

The thong is a size 36 (38" wide hip/31" hip bone) and fit fine. They're really cute. These are stretchy though, I'd prefer a 34 in these if I could get it.

  3. I just love the look of this bra! I can't remember having a non-padded lacy bra this pretty since I outgrew f-cup. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I had some trouble finding the right strap-band adjustment combo, so for a couple of horrible days I thought this bra might not fit me after all, which would make the EM Sm-model unsuitable for me. But, patience pays off, I found the right combination.

    Pros:
    - Pretty, pretty, pretty!
    - really soft lace, and the non-lacey parts are silkier than the powermesh EM usually uses
    - the Sm shape is so very nicely understatedly perky

    Cons:
    - The band is ... on the loose side, I have on last hook, so I have a sinking feeling I need to get it shortened at some point when it has stretched with wear
    - the fabric on the non-lacey parts (the stretchy part of the band on the sides and back) is really soft, read: very stretchy. EM could have put a bit sturdier powermesh underneath as this fabric has really much "give" to it

I absolutely love Miss Malinka! Although, I have noticed that of the 3 SM's I have (Trefl, Bezyk, and Malinka) - they all fit *slightly* different. The Trefl gives the most rounded overall shape, and is my favorite. The Bezyk I noticed had some "tightness" on the inside of my cleavage - when looking down at my boobs, it would look kind of like this:
    ( \ / )

However, this wasn't noticeable under a shirt, and after wearing this bra for a while, it does seem to have stretched/relaxed a bit and that effect isn't as pronounced.

The Malinka doesn't have any weird shape issues, but isn't quite as perfectly round as my Trefl. This one definitely collects the bust along the sides and sends it shooting forward! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Also, the matching bottoms for this bra are to die for - I'm a sucker for the ruffles https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    • Did you find that the Malinka was shallower than the Trefl and Bezyk? The Trefl and Bezyk are awesome on me, so I was excited for the Malinka, but it didn't fit at all! I had the orange in a glass issue at the bottom, leaving a ton of empty space. I just want to know if this was a sewing mistake or if it's just the cut of the bra.

I've admired Malinka from afar for the longest time, so when I came across a used one for a great price in a cup size too big, I thought I'd try my hand at an alteration experiment! I used All's Fair in Love in Lingerie's guide to making a bra smaller (here: http://allsfairinloveandlingerie.com/?p=38) in order to take in the cups to fit approximately as a 65FF. The alteration was pretty successful and maintained the shape of the cups well, although whereas this bra originally had too much projection for me, it now has just not *quite* enough as a result of decreasing the overall cup volume ... and coverage. That's okay though, the bra still fits much better by comparison and I absolutely love the SM cut... I find it to be super practical beneath a wide variety of clothing even if the shape it gives is more natural than super round.

Expectedly for a used bra, the band is not super firm, but is still wearable and very comfortable... the fabric it's made out of is softer than any of my other SMs, almost a jersey knit texture. The creme-colored floral embroidery is amazingly detailed and creates a pretty scalloped effect at the neckline, and as always I love the satiny bows EM uses on the straps and center gore.

One of my favorites! The band material is absolute perfection and not scratchy at all, which has been an issue with EM lace bras. The only notable minor issue is that when my boobs are swollen, the embroidery tends to flatten them just a tiny bit.

Otherwise, the bra is gorgeous and one that I hope to have around for a very, very long time.

This one runs pretty tight in the band and big in the cup compared to my experience with the PL bras. I'm not sure it's enough to order a band size up, but I'll have to wear it with an extender for a little bit. I'd recommend ordering a cup size down from your usual PL size, if you know it, though. Otherwise, it's a good fit for me.

Ahhhh! An embroidered lace fuchsia Ewa Michalak bra! The world is about to explode; it can't contain so much awesome!
But seriously, this is a very nice bra. I bought it from another bratabase user, and it was worn 2x and handwashed once. I bought it knowing I would have to use an extender, but I was more concerned about getting the correct volume, since I am starting to quadboob a little tiny bit in my 65F - Ewa Michalak » S Ptyś . The volume is good. The lace at the inner bottom of the edges of the cups near the gore points out ... and up, but I think it's more about the lace being floppy than the cup being the wrong size.
This does not fit like my 70E - Ewa Michalak » Sm Beżyk . Although this isn't surprising, since this bra is a sister size down + a cup size larger than the Sm Beżyk, the differences are great enough that I would personally not consider them the same cut. This bra is more closed in on top than the Sm Beżyk, and the cup apex is more east - west.
The straps are unimpressive compared to my other EM bras. The straps on this bra are normal, plain elastic and not the embroidered straps that stay put.
I wore it for a couple of hours yesterday evening when I got it in the mail, and when I inspected it this A.M. to measure it, I found a popped seam. Since I didn't look that closely last night, I'm not sure if it arrived with a popped seam or if I did it (if I did it, I didn't feel or hear the bra stretch enough to pop; like I said, I used an extender to make sure I didn't stretch it too much). If it arrived that way, I have no doubt it was unknown to the seller.
The jersey material on the sides gives me a strong impression that it will eventually pill.
Anyway, due to the popped seam, floppy lace, suspicious jersey material, and plain straps, I have marked this bra down on quality.
Don't get me wrong; this bra is extremely nice and was worth what I paid for it. But it's just not in my personal category of "I'd never wear a different bra ever again if I didn't have to" that I put Sm Beżyk and 32E - Cleo » Lucy (5851) into.

    Name means "raspberry" in English.

I can't really review the fit since it is too large for me.

However, the bra itself if beautiful! The color is a bright raspberry pink and the lace detailing is gorgeous. The outside layer of the band is kind of a soft jersey fabric - really nice.

    Straps are fully adjustable.

I thought this bra was absolutely lovely out of the box. The color and embroidery on the cups are incredible. Unfortunately my enthusiasm lessened once I put it on. The cups are roomier than the S-style bras I have in the same size, so I have quite a bit of loose fabric at the top of the cups. I am very full on bottom though, so I may just lack the breast tissue to fill it out. The bra supports well but doesn’t quite give the lift and projection that the other styles do. It holds my breasts closer to my chest. I found the wires to be too tall in the armpit and too short in the gore, so it’s a bit stabby in both areas. This is the only bra I couldn’t wait to take off at the end of the day. So sad, but it looks like the SM style just isn’t for me.
