Gorgeous, luxurious bra. Probably the prettiest I've ever seen. <3
The KanKan has narrow and shortish wires, which are great for me! Stabby underwires are my biggest bra woe. (My breasts are slightly omega shaped with lots of immediate projection, narrow roots, and very soft tissue. I lean towards FoB, but am even enough to get away with a Cleo Marcie.)
I purchased this bra because the SM Triumf in 75J was verging on quad-boob. Imagine my indignation when I tried on the SM Kankan in a 75JJ and *its cups fit exactly the same as the 75J Triumf*! The KanKan's 75 band is also much shorter and firmer than the Triumf's 75 band. (I don't know whether the KanKan runs small or the Triumf runs big, because these are my first two Ewa Michalak bras.)
It gives the famous Ewa Michalak "cakes on a plate" cleavage.
My shape: Projected, short rooted, even/functionally full on bottom, somewhat narrow, soft tissue.
This bra fits approximately like a 30G.
I don't quite have enough upper fullness for this bra, especially near the sides of the gore at the top. I get a more pointy shape in this than in Cleo's, but not as pointy as Panache Jasmine, for example. Because of my short roots I have major strap gap in this. Similar to my 70G - Ewa Michalak » Sm Triumf (824) , the cups are fairly shallow near the sides of the gore at the bottom.
I won't be keeping this one. I think a cup size down will be too small. If only I had a little more upper fullness!
I've never owned a bra that was this beautiful. The red with black overlay and jewel detail would make anyone feel sexy and like they could take on the world. @Ewa Michalak SM style gives a nice rounded shape and "cakes on a plate" style cleavage. Better for thicker fabrics as the lace can show in thinner fabrics. I do have a bit of overflow on my larger side, but nothing too drastic. Good for narrow rooted breasts with projection. Would repurchase again, but in size 60HH as the band is too big.
1) This is a very tight 75; I feel a constant, uncomfortable pressure on my ribs at my IMF. I didn't notice this with the 75JJ KanKan. (For comparison, all Panache 34 bands fit me well and I can take a 32 band in Curvy Kate if necessary.)
2) The straps are quite far apart. They stayed up, but I found them uncomfortable and awkward. I have never before had a bra (Panache, Cleo, or ...Curvy Kate) with straps that felt too far apart, so I think I have fairly broad shoulders.
3) While the wires are still pretty narrow, the fabric of the cup seems wide. This doesn't work well for me, as I hate it when I feel like my boobs are getting in the way of my arms. However, it might be worth experimenting with if you have omega roots. I'm not an expert, but it seems to me that cups wider than their own wires could fit an omega shape nicely. This bra provides me with a mixed bag of fit issues. Firstly, the gore hard tacks, which is very rare in a Polish bra for me. Yay! The wire width is great and the bra is projected enough to stay in my IMF. However I'm getting some gaping with the lace, enough to be noticeable but maybe not *quite* enough to size down. The straps are also very wide, even wider than my S cut bras, to the point of being uncomfortable. The materials are decent but the lace is fairly thick, so I probably wouldn't wear this bra to work, or anywhere else where I don't want it on display.
Too pointy for my liking. I'm not fond of unlined bras in the first place, but I'm trying to figure out EM styles. Very pretty! Rather rough fabric and lace, though and it makes it very itchy. I don't think I'll keep it, at least not for long.
