SM Czarna Mgielka 60L
SM Czarna Mielka is a black sheer cup bra. While the cups are not made of a stretchy material, they do have some give to them. In the 60L size, the cups are made up of 3 lower sections with two vertical seams, plus an upper section and the outer strap wedge area. As the photos show, this one is completely sheer and shows every skin detail. You can see the seam marks from the other bra I was wearing on the day of the photos, as well as the veins that shine through my translucent skin on my breasts very easily in these cups. ...
Now for the measurements!
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.
The band measures 22” and stretches to a max of 27.5”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops. While this band is listed as running quite firm on Ewa’s site, it is the same length as the others I received in this order, and in line with my last few orders.
Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
This measurement is: 13.25”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
This measurement is: 15.25”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.
The cup width is 6”, with a 9” height. The gore is 0.55” wide by 4.1” tall, and the wing is 4.75” tall.
I also ordered the matching briefs in size 10(38) which measure 65cm flat to 94cm max stretch. This size is intended for a hip range of 91-96cm, so they would run a bit small. My hip is 89cm, but I prefer my panties a bit roomier, so these are fine.
As for fit,
Having tried 3 SM bras prior (Koralik in 60K&60KK both too small, and Tattoo in 60KK which fit fine when I got it) I wasn’t too optimistic on the fit. Kaska did not recommend this size and didn’t feel it would work for me, but I am glad to say that she was incorrect!
The cups are as close to a perfect fit as I can expect to get, not a wrinkle in sight yet no quadding or flattening either! The gore sits less than a finger off my sternum, which is as good as it gets for me honestly. The band is nice and firm which is the current Ewa trend lately (at least with my orders), and is comfy on the tightest hook-set.
