So I don't know what the deal was last time I bought this bra, but I'd ordered 75FF after hearing that the band ran pretty tight. I was surprised to find a 70FF when it showed up on my doorstep. At first the too small cups weren't a bother (and the band was definitely tighter than a 70 should be, which is good for me as I'm a 65), but then when I heard about another group order, I noticed there was a 70G still available, so I went for it (I will be selling the 70FF). I wore the ill-fitting one a couple of times for no ...more than an hour tops each time because while it didn't look bad through shirts, it just bugged me.
So here I am with my properly fitting (cup-wise) 70G, and I'm much happier. Annoyingly, this actually fits TTS for 70. That means that I'm immediately on the tightest hook. That's okay, but I'd have preferred it to be tighter like it was supposed to be!
But I digress....
Anyway, this bra is lovely, and I'm super happy to have it in a cup size that actually fits. Once it stretches out, I'll have my mom help me take in the band. Another A+ for EM bras! Read more 104 more words
I am not sure where we went wrong, but the 75FF I thought I was ordering turned into a 70FF (aka that's what they sent). So I'm a 70G if I bump up to 70, and this 70 fits perfectly at 29." The cups are (as expected when I saw the size) too small, but it's not so bad. It gives me super cakes on a plate boobs though. I want to say it *just* fits, but if I sit down and slouch at all, there's a lot of quadding. I can easily maneuver the boobs to fit, especially when standing, but I could definitely use one cup size up.
Since it's from Poland though, I'm not willing to do an exchange since I'd probably not see it again for another 2 months. Since it's so darn pretty and I love it, I'll keep it. My husband will definitely enjoy this one!
I got this used from another Bratabaser. The cup in this size is made of 4 parts and the straps are fully adjustable. The bra fastens with 3 rows of 4 columns of hooks.
I don't think that any pictures I've seen really do justice to how pretty the Burek is in real life. It's quite lovely, and looks delicate. With bras in my size, it's not very often that I'd think of a bra as delicate, but the sheer cups and embroidery give a lovely appearance. The main body of the bra is a cool pinky beige in real life. The embroidery can show up a bit under ...thin or light coloured clothing, but is fine under something a bit thicker. The one negative of the design is that the straps are the dreaded 'stretchy straps', where they are just made of a single layer of elastic, so they can bend and cut in a bit. This wouldn't be a problem in smaller cup sizes, but even 10-20% of breast weight works out to be an awful lot when your breasts are big!
Sadly, it's just not quite the right fit for me. The cups are a little wide, a bit tall and much too shallow. I wish that I had a best size in the SM cut, because if I did, I'd love to wear one of these (and get the matching panties)! Read more 125 more words
I have had mixed success with Ewa bras in the past, but it was my fault. This time, I measured the underbust tightly, and got the perfect band size. I erred on the cup size, it is wearable, but let's just say I look very juicy... On order: 75ff and 75G. The bra itself is beautiful. Great projection, great support. This one is going to be listed.
This bra is too large for me (2 cups at least) so it's difficult to evaluate fit.
The band in this style is quite snug and the area with the hooks is wider than normal so it feels very stable. The wires are narrow and very strong - sometimes flimsy wires stretch out, but these are very stable.
Aesthetically, this bra is lovely. I really think the sheer lace used in the cups is gorgeous - flowers and vines. There is one rose colored bow in the center and two smaller ones at the base of the straps so it is very elegant. The straps have the loop embroidery on them so the fastenings won't slip. The material of the band is the same as Porcelanka.
This cup is too large overall, so I've exchanged it in a 65F and will review it when it arrives. The easiest way for me to tell is when the wires become too wide (as seen in the photo with the arrow) because Ewa wires generally fit me perfectly in my correct size.
I can't evaluate the fit really, but the bra itself is very nice. The embroidery is very beautiful and the color seems to suit my skin nicely. The only aesthetic flaw is that the elastic straps don't quite match the rest of the bra - they are a more of a peach nude and the rest of the bra is a pink-beige nude. It's not a big deal, but I thought I would note it. I think it would be more attractive to have had a covered strap in this colorway.
