    Box of happines arrived *_*
I got 4 new EMs and 2 pair of panties.
Someone mentioned before that this bra looks like granny's curtains - and yeah, it does! Im not really a fan of this print but..
The band when I was measuring seemes to be snug, however when on, stretches beautifully and is not as snug as my 70DD - Ewa Michalak » Bm Chaberek
Straps, as in all my BMs are perfect - fully adjustable and fits my narrow frame.
The wires are great 12.7cm, very comfy when the bra is on
The cup depth is really great. Theres no quadding or empty space. Tajemniczy fits me same as 65F - Ewa Michalak » Bm Szmaragd (794) so im very pleased with it and definietly going to keep it!
It doesnt work as a nude unfortunately, but under beige or pinkish top it would work definitely!

OMG, how have I not seen this before? It's amazing! I wonder if they would use this fabric to make another style if I asked them...

    • Charlotteke this would look gorgeous as a CHP!

    • I'd love it as a CHP, do you think they'll do that if I ask them to? I seem to recall Ewa does not do alterations much.

    • 1

Charlotteke she may do it as shes done before Mietusek BM in chp for someone :)

This looks really cute in your pictures! :) I love those flowers and the lace under the band.

    • 1

I can't wait to receive mine. I'm glad to hear the band runs snug.

    • gratiat if you ordered 70 that should be okay but if you went for 65 i wouldn't be surprise if it will be too tight coz this is 2nd bm with tight band that I got in 70 band. OnlyBrad tts band

    • I meant only Szmaragd had tts band

    • martka00 that's good to hear! How does one go about asking Ewa for alterations, via email? Can I do it in English?

    • Yup, email or Facebook would work :) she does speak English :)

    • Charlotteke Some of us have already asked and she won't do this one as a padded bra. But ask her anyway, because she usually changes her mind and report back, please!

    • 1

I wouldn't mind this as a PL myself...

    • O, that's a shame. I'll ask anyway... Would she consider doing it as an SM?

    • You have to ask :) it's only up to her

    • 1

I asked about making this Into an SM, and the answer was that BM fabrics generally can't be used to make an SM since SM uses single layer non-stretch fabrics and BM uses stretch fabrics doubled for support.
Martka00, good to hear this fits like Szmaragd! I have one on order and Szmaragd is the other BM I've tried, which fit me quite well.

    Didn't fit

So finally the first Chaberek in BM.
I thought that this parcel along with 3 other EMs will never arrive - the shop had to make a complaint on the post office and suddenly 10hours later there was tracking that the pack happily arrived to the UK!
The bra its nice soft dark blue, but I already knew this colours set - few months back ive tried Ava in same colours and kind of like it but the fit wasnt that great...
The cups are quite small and there are small quadboobs but the stretchy lace doesnt cut much and allows to accomodate slightly more than expeceted. I ... need around 1/2 size more but Im also afraid that 70E would be too large.. Ive ordered tajemniczy ogrod in 70DD but I think that I will change it for 70E just to give it a try and see how that would fit.
The wires are okay but I feel like actually I need in the BM 13cm. Theyre nice, soft but stable. Im sure that there wont be any diggin into my chest
The band.. its small!! just 73cm stretched (not maximum but comfortble stretch), so it feels more like between 65-70, however 1-2 extra set of hooks helps and I can wear it.
Straps.. I believe they are the best out of all styles that I have tried and i've rtied most of them. Theyre bit o the wider side but they do not sit in my armipts how it usually happens with SM and S! Im glad that finally I got the right set of straps that wont hurt me while wearing the bra for a long time!
Also I forgot to mention - it gives me lovely rounded shape and !! it make nice cleavage! definietly its not like a full cup + ive noticed that I can slightly fold the lace and it makes nice soft plunge *_*

That is so beautiful. I love that she used cream for the bows instead of some insane, bright colour.

    • 1

Oh, I never thought to fold over the lace on a BM to make it less full coverage. It is pretty full coverage on me, not the same as a full cup because the gore isn't too high, but still enough coverage that I have to wear higher necklines.

    • I dont know how this would work on bigger size as my one is from the bottom of the sizes :D Also this may work on taller roots like mine, and maybe its full coverage for ladies with short roots only?

    • 1

      I love this colour!

    • It’s beautiful Calluna . I’m glad I found another one in 70F! Which fits me very well. Have you seen the new royal blue one ?

    Hasn't set fit

This is really such a pretty bra! And,not at all what I was expecting for a "padded" bra - without the cookies in, I would consider it to be more like a moulded bra (in thickness at least). It's super.

The lace is pretty and soft and the details on the wings and straps are nice.

The gore is REALLY nice - it's sheer and has a bezel set crystal hanging under a small black satin bow.

The only negative is how the cookies go in. The pocket is like a folded over pillow sham. However, I don't think most people would be taking them out and putting them back in on a daily basis, so it wouldn't deter me from buying the bra.

I bought this bra in 2 sizes - 70DD and 75D - for my Mom to try. I'm just adding them here for data. But....I'd be tempted to buy it from a fellow user if it came up in my size https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

    Fits

I have been lucky enough to have three of this coveted model pass through my hands.
None of them have been an ideal fit until now, I guess the third time really is a charm.

This bra in this size does not share any of the issues I had with either my 65F - Ewa Michalak » Chp Gazeta (447) or my 70D - Ewa Michalak » Chp Gazeta (447) . It was comfortable from the moment I received it without my having to alter it in any way.

True to the other two bras, this one runs about two bands tight. I get a stretched measurement ... of 28-29" which is ideal for me and makes this fit as my other 65E CHPs without any help from me.

Aesthetically, I love this bra. I'm a huge bookworm and anything with print, literary references, or books is me.
Again, I don't love the hearts, but I do love that they are everywhere.

The band is small, as my other two were.
The cups are narrow and deep enough for me.
Wires are low profile and the gore is comfortable.
The straps are okay. I prefer thicker ones, but these aren't bad.
The little bungee at the strap front doesn't bother me in this size so it can stay. It is stretchy though and I lose a touch of lift leaving them there, but I'm okay with that.
Shape is rounded with decent cakes on a plate cleavage. Not as much as some of my other CHPs because of the straps though.
This is an older model, so it doesn't have cookies or the pockets for them. I am right on the edge of a 65E/65F these days so I couldn't wear them anyhow.

Obviously I love this bra, I've bought it three times!
I'd love to see it come back, or something similar anyway. We need more book/newspaper bras.

  5. Pl Syrena

I took 5 days to arrive!
It’s been more than a year since I placed my last order on ewa-michalak.pl. I decided to plunge back into addiction with Syrena and Cherry and I’m afraid it’s just the beginning.
I asked for Syrena to be sewn in my beloved PL cut because I don’t feel ready to try the new M cut yet. PL was a revelation for me, perfect cup width and shape, as if it were designed especially for my boobs. I was afraid the wires would be too wide and the cups too small in the M Syrena (Ewa said on FB that the cup volume is comparable ... to the 3D cut which was too small on me). BTW jlcl119 I’m really curious about your comparison of M and S Syrena!
Concerning the size, I decided to go up one band size like in my other PLs, because Ewa always says they run tight. I’m not sure how true that is since I have to fasten all my PLs on the second last hook https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> My first PL was Stalowka, which I bought used, and which is still quite tight but all the others are looser. However, I have decided to not to go down in the band, because I hate wearing bras with extender and Ewa’s bras don’t stretch out or not significantly (which I sometimes regret https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />. I would compare the band in Syrena to Wrzos. I fasten it on the second last hook and I’ll probably end up on the last one in a few months.
I was afraid about the cup volume, because my Laguna and Stalowka are a little small now, but the size seems perfect. I don’t know if it’s true for other cuts, but my Syrena has very long straps, fortunately they are fully adjustable.
I’m not disappointed by the design. It’s the most beautiful and elegant bra I have ever owned. I love the colours (I’d love to try BM Szmaragd for this reason) and the eyelash lace. Syrena is very comfortable, the band is soft and the straps are wide (almost like in Freya https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />. I think it’ll be my favourite bra, which is a good news for Laguna.

EDIT: I tried to wear Syrena on the second (of 4) hook and it actually fits, the band is still supportive. I added the back view so you can see how far I had to adjust the straps.

  6. Bm Szmaragd (794)

I was going to review this one later as I should be busy doing my research.. yeaaah sure https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> EM bras totally destroyed my day today https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
So this is the number 4 bra from the order. And this is the most successful one!
First of all - I must admit that is the most beautiful EM bra from all that I ever owned! At the first time when I saw it on the website I didnt like it too much, I thoutgh that this green wont go well with my pale skin.. I was so wrong ... and just after couple of weeks I started to regret that I didnt buy it - jut because I got lovely dark green dress from H&M that looks so good on my pale skin and with my blond hair. Also, this bra wasnt planned with current order actually as I really wanted to try other bras - and was thinking that Ill get it if Chaberek will be successful - then week before my order was depatched ive noticed that Szmaragd was in outlet section in my size! Ive already missed few bras from outlet section, so I couldnt let this one to go as well and simply just added to my order *_*
The wires are narrow - just 12.5cm - same as in my chaberek I wouldnt mind them being slightly wider but still after Ive tested this bra for around 30 min, theyre good enough and dont lie on my boobs - im not sure how this will work when walking. The gore is low and little painful just after I put it on, however the pain goes away after couple of mins
The cups are little too small - perfect on smaller breast but for bigger theres tiny quad although the lace is kind of stretchy so it doesnt dig into the boob and definietly it is not noticeble under clothes. And the most important it gives me nice rounded shape + nice cleavage with my FOT and taller roots. Same situation as with chaberek - I can fol the lace to inside of the cup and get nice plunge as the gore is quite low *_*
The band is true to size, snug but comfortable and I dont need extender, it has also 2x4 set.
Straps are not as perfect as in my new Comexims but theyre also good enough and it wont hurt my armpits - however with some tank tops it wont work. Theyre fully adjustable - however theres some extra ribbon on the front part to make it more beautiful but I think that is also possible to shorten it with this part.
well, definietly it was worth to pay 189pln for this bra and trully Im not going to regret it as probably Id with any other one!
Now is time to find matchin bottoms (any ideas? I don't want EMs as they would dig in as theyre too high.. )

It's totally easy to adjust over those ribbons. All you need is a rat-tail comb or something slim. You wiggle it in the loop on top and then pull to have a big loop. That makes it looser and far easier to slide over the ribbon. Let me know if this doesn't make sense and I can post pictures.

    • 2

thanks! if Ill need to do it ill try your idea :)

    • 1

I'm happy you have finally put your hands on Szmaragd :) I agree, this colour is actually a great match for pale skin.

    • 2

vesela_krava your review made me mostly to buy it! Thank you! :)

    • 2

I nearly bought this one, I'm glad it's gone to a good home though! (And if you ever decide to sell it...)

    • alexad thanks for not buying it :D! im glad to have but its bit too small after I've wear it today - however im not going to sell it unless ill find it in 65F or 70E :)

    Fits

I got this in a swap from another user.
I'm not normally a pink girl, but I like the soft color of this bra. It doesn't function as a nude for me though, it's very much lighter than my skin and behaves like a white bra against my body. The entire bra is the same shade of powder pink. The bra, the lace, the bows. All the same, but it's very girly and quite pretty. I do not care for the rhinestone charm in the center (I will probably remove it), but that is also very simple and understated.
This is the third entry for this bra in a ... 70DD, all three entries are for the same bra which makes the stretched band measurements really interesting to me because I could only get 29" before the wires started to distort on me. Because it goes to 29" and not the 31-32" it should I can wear this without alteration and without it riding up. It is very soft and stretchy though, and I don't know how long that will be true for. Fortunately, this is one that has four sets of eyes so yay for longevity!
The straps are wide and fully adjustable. They're soft and comfortable and the sliders adjust easily and stay in place.
The wires stay in my root and encase me perfectly and don't bother me at all throughout the day.
Another CHP win for my drawer.

    Fits

Me: very soft tissue; Measurements: UB 68/72 cm (26.5/28.5"), Bust 87/92 (34/36.5")

Oh gosh, this bra is so very much to my taste and very beautiful and intricate. It's like an even naughtier version of Cappuccino. The cups and straps are made of the same color, but the "eyelash" lace overlay is more elegant. The lacing on the cup is actually laced - it's not just sewn on - but it doesn't show under shirts. I really like the oversized bows Ewa is using lately too. I am SO happy about the included half-pads for asymmetry also.

As for fit, I ... think the cup is fairly true to size, or at least the cup volume is close to the 65E Ametyst that I have. Ametyst has unusually flexible wires however so it is difficult to judge from that. From my experience with Gazeta, I was sure Famme Fatale would be too large, but it seems to fit fine even without the padding (my pictures are without on the larger side).

The wires are very firm and quite supportive and don't allow my soft tissue to settle to the sides, so I don't get any east-west action (an issue I struggle with in other CHPs with softer wires). This yields excellent cleavage that still feels secure. The wings are a little higher than the previous season CHPs which is great for corralling any skin in the armpit. It's not enough to poke you in the armpit though - it's like 1/2"/1 cm.

This band feels quite stretchy to me. Normally I am comfortable on the loosest hooks, but I fastened this one on the 2nd and 3rd hook (and even the last) with ease right out of the box. I'm not sure I want to go to a 65E however, because the cup proportions fit me better on the 70 band. Hopefully it won't stretch quickly.

Ah man! You always get the bras I want and make me want them so much more... Must hold off until January! Lucky you!

    • MearCat I might have to enter Bra Buyer's Anonymous. The first step is to acknowledge there is a problem.

To torture you even more, I bet this one will fit you. . . The top is open and I know that's what you are looking for. If you thought the other 70s were too loose, you'll want to size down I think, though I've now decided to mark this as a fit (albeit a little loosely) because the cups are really great.

    • Seriuosly. It's like I start looking at a bra and with in like two weeks you have it! As soon as people suggested the CHP this is the first one I wanted! The only thing I'm really concerned about is I thought it was shallow in the bottom.

The 70s bands are like... just right. Not too tight, not too loose. I'm on the second hook, but there's four hooks so I'm not tooooo worried. I thought you were thinking about returning this one?

    • The CHPs aren't shallow at all. There's plenty of space in the bottom of the cup.

I was really on the fence about 65 vs 70 (as I'm right on the border between the two), but after wearing around today, I'm fine on the second hook so I'm going to keep it. The 70DD is shorter in the cup than the 65E which suits me better anyway.

    • Shorter in the cup as in lower? Yeah, I'm on the bigger end of the 65-70 range. But the 70 seems perfect. What's the difference between the CHP and CH btw?

I took Ewa's warning on the website to heart and decided to size up in the band on this bra . . . and I'm glad I did. I would say the bra I received runs about a half-size small in the band. There is some inconsistency however, because the 70C I ordered prior to this ran an entire size small. My recommendation would be to stick with your normal band size if you are on the smaller end of the range and to go up if you are in the middle ... to larger end of the range.

Unlike some of the other recent CHPs (Ametyst, Cappuccino, etc), the wires on this bra are VERY strong. Even just trying to pull them with my fingers is difficult - they are very thick and have a nice wide casing around them. So this affects the fit in small ways. First, I think it contributes to the feeling of band tightness. Second, the cups feel deeper and narrower than other CHPs because the wires do not move out at all when you fasten the bra (you can see in the side view picture the wires are still straight up). Effectively, this makes the cup feel about a half-size larger than normal. I think can still make it work (the cups mould to you more after wearing), but it should be noted. I might try a 70D if I decide it is still too large after washing.

Also, the straps are very stretchy IMO. I have to tighten them up quite a lot in order to get a normal strap tension. However, they are fully adjustable so it should be okay for most people.

Now on to the famous fabric! I like this bra because sometimes I like to change it up from a sleek, minimalist style and this is anything but that. This bra is all the things! It is antiqued newsprint fabric, with transparent shiny dots, and lace and ruffles and bows and hearts and it's just FUN to wear. BTW, the lace lays flat under shirts.

The matching underwear runs a little tight also as an FYI. I am literally right between size 36 and 38 and sizing up is definitely recommended.
EDIT: I bought a pair of 40s in the briefs just to see and they fit perfectly! Size up!

  10. Hm Cukiereczek (574)

My shape is low set, soft, pendulous, short and narrow rooted.

This bra is very feminine and pretty. It's a beige base with green and pink embroidery. The one I received was pre-loved, and the centre pink bow is stuck in a folded in half position, but otherwise, it's in decent shape with minor signs of use. The shape it creates is very rounded, with lots of top boob exposed. In my case, I can barely get my nipples covered (I had to tug the bra up actually). I think it usually has slightly more coverage than what I get because this bra is about a size too small ... for me. The wires are quite narrow in this bra, which brings everything up and centre. I love the shape it creates, but maybe because it's slighly too small for me, I do get some quadding and flattening of the front of my boob, which is more pronounced on my left bigger side. This bra is close to fitting me, but I feel like I had to pull the cup up to stay on my boobs. I also have some slight side boob that I couldn't scoop into the cup, and I feel a bit squished overall. I'll probably still keep it however, since I like the rounded-ness of this bra, and it might fit better on my 'smaller days'.

The quality is excellent and the band is surprisingly comfortable considering it's a size up from my usual size. I got 74cm giving it a fairly good stretch when measuring it, and the wires were just starting to distort.

    • Wow the pink flower slook nice on you. The bows on the strap would be a bit too much for me though.

      Too bad it doesn't fit.

    • aboobaccount Yeah, I took a gamble with the sizing of this bra, because I normally wear 30F in unlined bras... but I love EM unlined bra materials. The bows are definitely too much... I might end up cutting the two off from the straps if I keep this one. The centre one is all folded over too, so I'll have to see if I can iron it or something? Otherwise, it might be coming off too!

    • Wow this is sooo beautiful! I agree that it looks too small and that the pink bows are overkill on the straps. But it looks great on you despite the size issues.

    • Thanks Calluna ! I love EMs materials... .they're so gorgeous. I've lusted after so many of her bras, that's why I had to get this one! I'm thinking of trying a BM/SM, but there are never any listed here in my size for a reasonable price (and if there are, they are snatched up quickly!).

    Great for my tall/FOT roots.
The wires are too hard for me, they feel like Cleo wires. Because of the wires I wouldn't be able to wear this bra multiple days in a row, OR where this style multiple days in a row. I like it enough to buy more BM bras (I'm kinda mad I didn't try this style earlier, I like the way the Szmargard looks, but it doesn't come in my size anymore).
The band is too loose on me, right our the gate I have to wear it on the second tightest hook.
I would love it if this bra gave me a rounded Cleo like look, but it doesn't. It's more of a natural look.

    • Beautiful on you!!! I completely understand your complaint about the wires.

    • It looks great on you. I wear mine all the time.

    • very cute the pink one. If I havesomething that suits me that good I MUST have fitting undies for the bran.I bet EW bottoms are expensive & rather not affordable...
Some lady here on the bade said Ewa was satan or made by satan as she makes us spend too much money on bras. :-)))
      I agree.

    • 1zora216 I think the panties end up being around $20 or so. So I don't think it's too expensive.
I can now see why some buy 2 pairs of matching panties. I may get a pair with my next order.
But I spoke to Kaska and she said the Maryna won't be coming out until next year. (So idk when my next order with area will be)

I always wanted this bra for couple of reasons:
First of all its Ewa Michalak CHP style
Secondly, it came in my size so I gave it a go
Thirdly, I have Slavic (Slowianski) look - it means I have fairly light hair, blue eyes and pale skin, so the name Slowianki refers to how people are differentiated in different parts of Poland. Many times ive heard how lucky I am to have this look, but I am only happy about my trully blue eyes, while my skin is so pale that I get sunburn after 2hours of exposing my skin to the sun and to match foundation for my face ... is a huge challenge.. but anyway, this bra was on my wish list and finally I got it.
This bra was previously used but its still in pretty great condition. Obviously little signs of use are present but nothing major that would cause bad fit.
I must admit, the bra is extremly comfortable! More than my Owoce Lesne or Stalowka. The wires are little softer. The cup width its tiny bit too wide for me, but didnt cause much empty space - nothing that couldnt be an issue
The cup depth.. well this bra is similar in measurement to Owoce lesne and bigger than Stalowka, however I feel like its size too small on.. (stalowka is little to small currently but its just fitting differently). I get major quadboob on my bigger side and small on smaller side - with pads its really bad but the shape from the front is extreme https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
The band is trully size 70 - feels great on my 72cm undebust. Its not as snug as it was brand new but still great!
The strap placement is definietly better than in my Owoce lesne (that I had to move in the straps coz was unwearable). Straps are fully adjustable

Ladies, the next Gazeta just arrived on bratabase! The bra is lovely. As mentioned in other reviews, the band is tighter - although I need only 1 extra set of eyes so its not that bad. The bra is in perfect size, theres no quadboobs like in my 70DD - Ewa Michalak » Chp Stalówka (307) , but shame that I dont get the same effect that I have with 70DD - Ewa Michalak » Ch Owoce Leśne (573) . However, I still love the set! The panties are so cute but very low. Overall, would be very nice to see more bras with 'gazeta' print as it gives something new to each wardrobe!

This is my favourite EM bra, would love to get one in 65F/FF. Congrats for a great find! :)

    • 2

Thanks erispe . Hope one day youll find it as well! :))

    • 1

I've been hesitant to try EM because of the wider set straps, but I'm sooo envious of your fantastic find! Good job!

    • 1

distractedmyth I can't speak for every different shape, but I know that I was concerned about that because I have a fairly narrow frame. The wide set straps actually worked really well for me though because they pretty much fell outside the bulk of my breast tissue then came up at an angle so that they ended up hitting further in at the top than most of the other bras I've tried. If you find one that you really like I wouldn't let the straps deter you from trying it out

    • (if you'd like to see what I mean, you can see pics here: http://bra.pe/I4Dk/ and here: http://bra.pe/I4Dj/ )

    • 2

Ha ha ha I like reading the 'news' on everybody's Gazetas -like your briefs, martka00 , say "Beauty" in exactly the right spot!! And my Gazeta (from a Bratabaser) says "Cats" right across the cup, which is good because I love my kitties and cats in general :). There should be more readable lingerie!

    • jennyanni lol I haven't notice it even 😂😂😂

    • kermitdafrog21 That actually helps a lot! So they're supposed to come in at an angle like that? That actually never occurred to me - I just always thought there was something wrong when bras did that. Good to know :)

    • 1

distractedmyth I assumed they were supposed to do that. It didn't dig in or anything and they actually stayed up really well (though I did end up sending the bra back so I could sister size down). It may or may not work for you but I definitely wouldn't discount it because of the straps because for me it wasn't an issue like I had thought it would be

    • Although now looking at the models on her website, their straps pretty much go straight up so maybe its not supposed to do that... But like I said, it wasn't uncomfortable to have them at that angle (and going straight up for me would almost be off the edge of my shoulder bone)

    • The straps of my ewa does fall off of my shoulders( for a dif bra style tho ) and the only way to stop it is to use a suspended piece to hold the straps together across my shoulders. I wonder if there is a certain style that the bratabase crowd has noticed to have closer straps.

Love the grey colour of it, and even if its CHP without extra pads, it can lovely covers my assymetry (usually I use 1 pad). Bra has lovely and soft band - fits perfect with no extender. Im getting small quadboobs, although theyre not too big and I can accept them comparing to some other bras, as this one gives me lovely shape
I am going to keep it for now, but if someone would have 70E/65F i would consider swap! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I tried this in both 65E and 70DD and much prefer this size - the band is still quite snug and supportive but it is more comfortable.

Shape-wise, I love this style. It really centers the breasts and lifts them up and out for maximum cleavage. It looks pointy and hilarious at first, but after wearing for a day, the shape becomes round.

This particular color feels like it runs small in comparison to Szykus (or Szykus runs larger? I'm not sure). The cup is just a little shallower and the wings are ... significantly shorter. It's still comfortable and it fits, but it fits differently and should be noted. I like the thick covered straps - they are more comfortable for me.

**Edited to add: Now that I've tried a bunch of 3Ds, this model definitely runs small in the cups and shorter in the wings.**

The material is soft and smooth, but somewhat delicate - I don't have any discoloration, but it does show wear rather quickly. The lace doesn't lay completely flat under shirts. It's a very good color for a nude bra though - it's cool toned vs. warm.

It comes with included pockets and pads for asymmetry.

I'm writing this review after wearing this bra from 5AM to 6PM. It was incredibly comfortable, with only a little bit of tenderness from the gore. For the first wear, at 12+ hours, not bad.

My breasts: Narrow, tall root, I fit a 30E in Freya, and 30F in most other bras. All bras have wires way too wide, including the Freyas. I'm guessing the Freyas are 0.5-1 inch too wide, and my Cleo Juna's wires go on forever it seems. I have quite a bit of immediate projection, which makes finding bras where the wires don't get pushed down out of my inframammary fold hard to find. ...

This bra comes with 3 sets of straps, the wide, cushy straps (partially adjustable; may be problematic for ladies with short torsos), a set of narrow, fully adjustable straps, and one longer strap to wear as a halter top dealio. I know that some women have had problems with Ewa's straps being set too far apart, and as you can see in the photos, I have no problems with this. I rather like the strap attaching lower on the side - I don't have much breast tissue on the outside, and this strap placement seems to gather it up and make it look good.

This bra was great for me, all around! The projection was perfect, the cups didn't get pushed down at all. And MIRACLES of miracles, the wires fit me! Well, my larger breast, and what more could a girl with slightly uneven breasts ask for? How about removable "push up" padding!? Shark week this week, and the bra fits perfectly without the pads, and next week, I can put them back in if need be, or in just the right side to correct my asymmetry. The pads, you can see in the photo, are a nice size, and discrete.

The seams in the bra show a little bit in my sheerest shirts, but I'd say they are less visible than my Freya Patsy or b.temp't Ciao Bella.

Here's my confession: I used the Ewa Michalak calculator, and ordered what it told me to. True story! And all 3 bras fit! I ordered 3 Ewa bras (PL Onyks, CH Onyks, and CHP Orchidea) at the same time, and they all fit like a charm. I'm guessing I'll have my "regular" bra size of 30F, my Freya bra size of 30E, and my Ewa bra size of 70DD.

This is by far my favorite bra, and my favorite out of the Ewas I have. Other than waiting for the shipment (oh, the need for immediate gratification!) my experience with Ewa was just fine. I will be ordering from them again, for sure!

Update: I've had this bra for 4 months now, and it's my most frequent flyer. Love love love this bra. Just had to move to the second set of hooks. Super comfortable still, and it looks just as lovely as it did on day 1 (hand wash, no dryer). Can't rave enough about this bra!

Read my profile for a more in-depth description of my breasts. Cuz I'm lazy and don't want to copy and paste! Also, when I order from Ewa, I use the size they recommend on their site (gasp!) and it has worked great.

I read online (one source: http://thecurveshaveit.blogspot.com/2013/07/ewa-michalak-part-2.html) that the 3D bras from Ewa are scaled down to fit small breasts. I love Ewa's PL Onyks, and wanted to try more of the plunge styes and I'm right at the top of the "small" range for the 3D, so I thought I'd give some a try. The 3D Bambino is 1 of 3 I purchased, along with ... 3D Porcelanka and 3D Satine. All three share the same basic construction, made with 3 panels (you can see in the photos).

    Pros:
*The bra is lovely, easily the prettiest bra I've ever owned. So. Stinking. Cute.
*Very, very, comfortable. I wore it for 12+ hours the first day, no problems. In fact, the only time I though about my bra was to think, "Squeeee! I'm wearing a new bra! It's hugging meeee!"
*The quality is very high, very soft fabric, but not so much so that I'm worried about hurting it.
*My breast are close together (<1 pinky width between them), and the low gore is super comfortable. The plunge does make it so the center of my breasts are a bit more jiggly than I'm used to, but I never felt unsupported.
*Super solid support, never felt like I'd pop out or anything.
*Band is perfect. Firm, not too tight, starting out on the first set of hooks.
*The removable "push up" pads are more like adjusters. I use one in the right cup for my slightly smaller breasts so they look even. Not "push up" at all, so don't be fooled. But it gives a great shape, no push up needed!
*This bra gives a great shape. Slightly more pointed (but not pointy! Not pointy!) than the PL Onyks. Gives me a touch of cleavage. A miracle if I ever saw one.
    *Narrow wires (duh).

    Cons:
    * I have very tall roots. If I push my chest out, or take a deep breath, the top panel does push into my upper breast tissue and looks kinda quad boob-ish. But I don't walk around puffed up, so it's not really an issue. All 3 3D bras do this - I won't be ordering this style again because of it, but its a very minor issue for me.

Super happy with my purchase, love the Ewa bras.

What a difference going up a band size in this style makes! I am literally right between Ewa band sizes (tight UB 67 cm, loose UB 72 cm) and sometimes 65s feel too tight and sometimes 70s feel too loose. However, I decided to try a 70 in this style because have been noticing that the wires in the PL and 3D styles are more flexible and that the tighter 65 bands were pulling the cups too flat (and therefore affecting the fit).

And it looks like I was right, because I ... get a much better shape in this size. Not only is the projection better, but the cups are closer together which gives me actual cleavage. And I never have cleavage! The top edge on this plunge is a little more closed than others I have seen. This is a positive for me actually - it feels a little more secure and I have less jiggle. This fabric feels quite stretchy - I am happy with it (there are four hooks after all), but some people may want to size down.

The fabric is very soft and smooth and has a bit of shine to it - some people will like it and some won't. Personally, I do. The pinstripes, buttons and oversized bow all go together in a way that I find very appealing. There are a couple of loose threads here and there, but easily trimmed off.

All in all, I am happy with it. I'm glad I decided to try out another PL.

SO glad you posted this comment and the measurements. I'm sitting hear waiting for this to arrive. And I was terrified because people kept saying they run small and wide, but that wire measurement gives me hope! And the depth! Thanks for making me excited again!

    • The more I wear this bra, the more I love it! I only own one other PL (Onyx in 65E), and the cup measurements are the same (but the cup placement and proportions in the 70DD are so much better for me.). The difference is that the top edge is a little more closed, so maybe that's why it feels small to them?

It could be that people are comparing styles also. I posted on someone's bra adventure that I wear 2 different sizes depending on model - more of a 70D/65DD in half cups and a 70DD/65E in PL and 3D.

I think you will love this bra once you put it on!

    • I'm hoping it's not too closed for me! I just want it to arrive already so I can find out!

My breast size fluctues a lot depending on the time of the month, this bra is good when I am in my smaller and medium size, but it is too small for my biggest size fluctuation (in this case, I wear 28FF - Curvy Kate » Tease Me [showgirl Collection] (SG2001) and 65F - Only Her » Chili (1005) ).

This bra is a tad too narrow and too deep for me, but with a lot scooping and some re-adjustements during the day, I can wear it confortably, and it is one of my better bras.

The band was tight at first, but it ... become more loose very fast (in 5-6 wears).

I asked for fitting help (and posted a lot of photos) because I had some little quardaboob, but I was just wearing my bra too low.

At first, I didn't know what to think about the pointy, close-together and narrow shape, but bratabase users find it cute. I worn the bra under a fitting top at school, nobody was shoked by the shape, and now, I am used to this shape and like it !

I like the color ! Majority of beige bras are too white for me and show under sheer tops, but not this one (exept the straps).
