    Fits

It fits, but I ordered to sizes large band and cup sized 1 cup down.

I think Im goign to keep doing that until I get cup height lower or fall out of it. I know an 80J is fairly too small.

I plan on updating this later.

Looking at how you fit with your unpadded bras, I wonder if you shouldn't technically also be wearing two sizes smaller or something. Padded bras are so odd - you look like you're getting so much lift, but it also has so much coverage. And the depth is a whole inch more here than in the 85 J. I'm not saying it looks like it doesn't fit or anything, I'm just trying to figure out how this all works with EM bras =/

    • Oh yeah, Im going down in cup size to get less coverage. I loss lift though. :( I have a J cup that I sold and it was laughable. I then with a fit suggestion on reddit went with what everyone said and went with a 42J, it is already way loose in the back and the cup is fine, but not as much lift. It was also only .25 inches smaller in cup depth. But a lot in cup height. I thought cup decrease would be bigger than .25 inches ( I know bratabase say .3, but its .25 and that what I entered)Also like many people I will need a bigger cup in the padded. Check out the compare pictures at the bottom. I added a new one. ( 2 compare pictures total!) :) I noticed the difference when i took my weight loss pictures this month. I've lost 15 pounds this month! I did gain 1.75 inches of breast tissue weirdly? http://www.bratabase.com/compare/dhsrp/

My next S I want to do a 40J so one band up and two cups down? Right lol, ugh sister sizing get me sometimes when I don't have a chart in front of me. I do question the 40 a little because I only had to wear the extender for one day. I can wear this 38 without now.

    • I'm also so stupid for listening to people who told me to get a 42, my tight is 34.... Im seriously going to have to alter the 42J in like two more wears.

    • So what is your normal underbust size in UK bras? Why did they suggest such a large back size/cup size, for what problem were they trying to fix? And you loss lift when going down?! That's crazy. I thought going down would = more lift.

I personally have no lift in my bra that is the same cup size as this but much smaller back size and I'd actually rather have much more coverage because I spill out. I'm so confused on how this all works when it comes to EM bras. Helping you also helps me so that's why I keep bugging you about EM lol. So needing a bigger cup in the padded is definitely normal then...

Congratulations on your weight loss. The 95J looks really good on you, better than the green but it looks like it still might be a bit big on you? (I thought I spotted wrinkling). Breast tissue is basically fat and glands, so it's possible that fat may have migrated around perhaps?

Oh nevermind now I notice that you want to go down a cup or two. Sister sizing gets me too even after all these years. Sometimes I feel like I'm solving a math problem in my head or something lol. Why not try a 38JJ? I think I got that right. Sorry, really tired @.@

    • Well the good thing is that altering the band is pretty straightforward at least.

    • Nether of these bras have wrinkling in the padded part, but there is some wrinkling on fabric.

    • I know you like Kris Line, I only have one. I compared it to an Ewa. It is bigger overall, but Im beginning to have spillage. The Ewa is only bigger in cup height. http://www.bratabase.com/compare/dhxbl/

    • Oh I didn't answer all your questions. I think they told me to get a 42 because the 85 was tight at first, IDK. I felt like the 85 was maybe a little tighter than normal, but it has stretch out to what I would have expected at first. Check out my 36J, which is one cup size smaller than you suggested. Its comical to me. http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dl8d6/

    • I think some of my pictures were not approved so Im not sure if you were able to see them... oops.

    • I think some of my pictures were not approved so Im not sure if you were able to see them... oops.

    • yet, they are approved now.

    • I for some reason never thought of comparing my Kris Line M with my Ewa M...it's interesting to note in your bra that the KL is much wider, which is weird because KL is known even moreso for narrow wires. It looks like KL runs almost a full cup size smaller than EM, at least in the padded vs non-fully padded bras. According to your compare, the KL is slightly more shallow. Here is mine for instance http://www.bratabase.com/compare/dhx44/ This is definitely useful info going forward.

I have tried three or four 70 bands from EM and some of them felt looser than others, even within the same style and cup size, so I think material just affects the fit. Stretchy material may even feel really tighter at first and then stretch out, so I need to remember that in the future myself...

It's hard for me to say without more sizes for comparison but I wonder if the Pl style just doesn't run a cup size or so smaller than the S styles. I looked at an 80JJ S style and it was almost two cup sizes bigger than your 80J Pl in the measurements. EM is soo complicated sigh.

    • Also I was able to see the pictures. It's weird but it seems like pictures show up without approval needed now. Maybe past a certain amount of reputation? But at the same time I still get approval messages too.

Thank you so much to jlcl119 for letting me buy this! It is so pretty. It's like a green and white garden of a bra, and I love the contrast that the big white bow adds. It is also my first Ewa Michalak! Alas, there is not nearly enough cup to hold my boobs -- it's too small. The band also feels very loose on the loosest hook. I think I'll keep this for now since it gives me GREAT cleavage and fits sort of alright if I de-scoop, but there just isn't enough depth in the cup to accommodate me. The gore reminds me ... of my 28F Freya Deco gore in that it tacked even though the cup is too small because it's so low. The cups are nice and narrow (a tiny bit too wide for my smaller side, but nothing is narrow enough for that boob!) and the fabric is soft. If only there were like, the opposite of cookies to make the cups deeper so that this would fit. Oh well, added to the massive cache of bras that don't fit me. On to the next!

    • Wow! So beautiful! Congratulations on your first Ewa! Sorry it’s a bit small.

    • 1

It's a shame it's too small! Even so, it still looks pretty good on you.

    • 1

This is such a gorgeous bra. I love the Green lace. I wish more bras were made with green being the focus color. 💚🍀💚

    • 1

Gorgeous! Sorry it's a bit small.

    • 1

MamaPagan I know, it's so interesting! There are a lot of color combinations I think bra manufacturers should try out that they never do. My favorite colors are dark forest green and lavender -- I wish I'd at least see more purple/lavender bras out there. So many nude, black, beige, etc.

    • 1

Indeed! I am a sucker for all green and purple bras, they are my favorites. 💜💚
I agree there are way too many black, white, beige and nude bras made. Give me bright bold and beautiful!

    • 2

biflexual emerald/forest green coming this fall from Krisline, Gorsenia and Ewa Bien. Samanta, Dalia and Gaia will offer plum. It's going to be a colourful autumn.

    • 2

Oh...and Kinga will offer deep olive green

    • 1

In ewa padded bras I always needed to up a cup size

    • 1

biflexual ok this is such a good example of band sizing vagaries with some of these brands: 22" unstretched is a BRUTALLY tiny 65, and could definitely be a contender for the situation I mentioned where it is at least tight enough to rob you of some boob room. While I think it probably is still just a hair too shallow for your larger breast regardless, I suspect you will be able to settle into the cups more securely by using an extender to add 1/2 to 1 inch of length--and then all-importantly, loosening the straps until the back of the band is able to sit horizontal with the front.
The visual signs of this fit issue are SOOO subtle in someone with your body type, it's super hard to notice, but if you look for it you can see the following clues:

      * cups subtly but noticeably forcing your breasts east-west (laterally outwards) which should give anyone pause when wearing an EM, since these bras are specifically designed to allow boobs to point straight forward

      * very faint whiskering of creases radiating outwards from the very base of the gore, suggesting unwanted fabric tension down there that shallows out that part of the cup and prevents your breasts from settling all the way in

      * very VERY faint creasing (almost invisible against this pattern...) rising up and outwards in a crescent shape on the side of the cup in this photo, just a little distance from the wire
      http://bra.pe/IoIF/

I can't guarantee that an extender will make the fit perfect--in this size range, an ultra-short band with an extender may simply lack sufficient stretch for comfort and stability, since good extenders are entirely nonstretch and the front of the bra likewise has no give. However, it's still worth a try and if you are looking for cleavage, just reducing that bit of excess lateral tension will allow the breasts to sit closer together.

  3. So, this 70F fits and measures the same as my 65F S Turkusik.

You don't see green often in the lingerie world, so this is a nice novelty. I like that it's a rich emerald green and not a moody hunter or blinding lime. It's a really nice shade and the white trim and white background really set it off.

The band doesn't really have a lot of stretch to it. This works for me because I'm not a 70, but is ridiculous for anyone that bought this expecting a 32 band.
The cups are also small. Even measuring as a 65 band, this should measure out to FF cups. Nope, ... it's a 65F. Same measurements as my Turkusik. Same fit too. Gaping without pads, so I wear them.
The straps on this one are fully adjustable, so that's nice. The rippled ribbon on them makes it difficult to adjust, but they don't move once in place.
The shape is very rounded and up front. I don't get cleavage from it though. Too much coverage in my size range. Nice and supportive for soft tissue though, which is expected since the S is made for jigglers.

The lace I'm sure would be super prone to snagging. I haven't had an issue, but I could see it.

So, I got my Turkusik a few months ago. Early on in my Polish adventure and I remember reviewing it as "elevated" high end. I don't necessarily take that back, but...

This and the Turkusik (which are essentially the same bras in different colors) are a bit cheap for Ewa. Cheap for Ewa is still a nice bra, but these aren't as good as they could be.

    70J

    Fits

    I have a new best-fitting bra!

I've been having trouble fitting into all my usual bras lately - since I started graduate school, I've experienced some weight gain and also had a breast shape change at about the same time. I used to be very FOB, but I'm now more evenly full - however, due to having up-to-collarbone-tall breast roots they act more like very FOT boobs. Due to tissue moving back out of my armpits since being properly fitted, I've also been progressively getting more narrow - now to the point of having pretty well everything, including my narrower Cleos, have wires that are too wide. ... Since moving up a cup and down a band (from 32H in everything to 30J/32HH where the band runs small) I've also been struggling with cups biting me under the arms as well as borderline-too-wide strap placement. Lots of my bras that used to fit OK are now also too shallow for me.

I worked out before the weight gain that 70J would probably be the best size for me in Ewa Michalak's S cut, but was trigger-shy about trying one - 70J and 32H is a big size difference, and I was worried I'd go to the trouble of ordering from Poland for a bra that turned out to be too big for me. This style almost swayed me when it came out - I love green lingerie, but I couldn't justify spending the money at the time. I finally decided to take the plunge when I saw this one listed, despite not being sure if I'd now be too big for it.

I was very pleasantly surprised! First of all, the stock photo of the Musisztomiec doesn't do it justice - the green against the white, as well as the decorative crinkling of the green satiny strips on the white straps, just looks so much more vibrant and luxurious in person.

Fit-wise - it's almost perfect! I don't quad in it at all, and the wires are exactly the right width for me. The cup height under my arms is comfortable. The straps aren't positioned too wide on me, although I think someone with significantly narrower shoulders than me might have issues - my shoulders are about average in width. I get a really nice rounded, uplifted shape in this but it's not too in-your-face - for comparison, a couple of the bras I don't wear under certain shirts because they give me a bit too much oomph are my CHP Gazeta in 70HH and my Freya Deco Honey in 32GG. The other thing to comment on is the centre gore - anyone who's read any of my other Bratabase reviews knows that in pretty well every bra I own, my extremely close-set breasts push the centre gore away. I am close set to the extent that above a certain height, it is literally impossible for any gore to tack on me without sitting on breast tissue - at the closest point I have less than a millimetre of space between them.

This gore - almost tacks! It's low enough to avoid the point of them getting closer together further up my chest, but still leans away by a couple of millimetres - that is, it 'soft tacks'. I'm not sure if Ewas typically have wires that are a bit softer than Panache/Cleo, or if it's just because I have firm tissue and a lot of centre fullness/immediate projection near my sternum. However, I consider this a very minor fit issue, since again this happens in pretty much every bra I own (the aforementioned Deco being a notable exception, but I definitely wouldn't want to do labwork and run up and down stairs in my Deco all day...). The bra still feels comfortable and supportive.

I've tried as much as I can to give a helpful description of how the S cut fits on someone with my breast shape in my size range. If anyone reading this is thinking of buying one and has any questions, feel free to message me! Measurements will be up shortly, when I can stand to take it off my body.

    Hasn't set fit

This style allows a greater deal of movement in the cup due to the outer lace having stretch lace, with the give running vertically.

While there is far more immediate depth than available in my slightly smaller S cuts, it feels like this comes at cost of a proportionate cup that would allow any projection at all. Just fabulous immediate depth and then THE WALL. I wouldn't call the S the most deep thing on earth but for short + full it's been a really good style up till this stretch-lace overlay specific version.

It's been way too hot to wear this much yet, but swapped wires for plunge ones that match my IMF, keeps the projection low and focused forward rather than veering upwards and pushing back in.

This bra is way too tight for me, I couldn't even keep it on long enough to give it a fair review.
I'm not exactly shocked since I had this bra before in a 70F and that was also quite tight.

It's a gorgeous color, and the lace is very nice and sturdy. This bra is old and has held up remarkably well.

    Didn't fit

I so wanted this bra to fit, it's so pretty! The green lace over the white is beautiful and different.
I'd previously tried EM's S style bras in size 80GG, but found the bands to be slightly too big and the cups also to be a bit big, so I decided to order a band and cup size smaller (75GG).
Unfortunately I didn't realise that this band has zero stretch, and is therefore way too small! The cups are also small, the gore doesn't tack and it gives me slight quadboob.
(I also ordered the Chp Lawenda (also in 75GG) at the same time, which fits perfectly. Strange...)

I bought this one lightly used at the same time as the turquoise one in the same size. This one fits tighter in the band as well as larger in the cup - more like a 32GG - which means that my cups overfloweth. The band isn't stretchy but it's solid.
It is absolutely gorgeous, although the straps are curiously wide. They're all ribbony and pretty, but they are wider than I've seen on anything but a Freya.
The cups/wing area comes up a bit higher than my other EM's, which makes it not quite as comfy after 10-12 hours as my others but it's not cutting off my arms.
I will be extra cautious about my jewelry and using the fine-mesh lingerie bag in the wash because the lacey green overlay fabric is begging to be snagged.
The shape is up-front & round, but almost minimized. It's nice, but I do prefer the lift & projection of the CHP style.

Beautiful bra, but straps are too far apart for my liking and the wires are a bit too wide. Fits like most S style bras, but with a tighter band because there's barely any stretch at all in the fabric.

    • Is it only my point of view, or does this lace overlay look... cheap and tacky?

    • It definitely looks better in person, but I found this bra and the S Turkusik to be of lesser quality than other EM bras I've owned. They both kind of crumpled after only a few wears and washes, and I was never able to get them to fit right. They both always felt off, unlike nearly all of my other EMs which fit like a glove.
