I just like the way the S style looks, and while 85HH (the size originally recommended to me) was a disaster, I decided to try 85GG and see if it'd work for me. I've been having good luck in the 80GG/85G/85GG area for CHP, so it stands to logic that about the same size would have potential.
It's not perfect, but it's certainly way better than the 85HH S was on me.
The cups are just about the right height for my breasts - the top of the cup doesn't really extend above the curve of my boobs while they're situated in the bra, which is good! However, the ...cups are not quite deep enough - the gore doesn't tack, though pushing it down doesn't cause any quadboob. With the cookies in, there's about a finger and a half of space there; without the cookies it's smaller but still not tacking.
The band is closer to a 36 than a 38; once again, inconsistency remains consistent in EM bras. Wires could stand to be a slight bit narrower for me but work.
The color of the bra is a pretty darker tan; too dark for a nude on me, but a good nude shade just the same. The fabric has a similar pattern on it to the S Kamea, which I like. The outer fabric is very stretchy, though, so it wrinkles a lot when the bra is on. The button accents are cute, but I think they look a bit cheap.
In all - cute bra, and I'm closer to figuring out what I should be wearing in S, but I'm not yet decided if this one is a keeper or not. Read more 174 more words
I just got this from someone here via eBay, and all I can say is THANK YOU.. THANK YOU. If it had not been for the Bratabase and being able to make comparisons, I would have passed this one by. It's my new HolyGrail of bras. I recently added some poundage, and every time it goes first to my bustline, but this bra holds up all up and in with splendid style. My old standard fave is Freya Arabella 34FF, but it's gone a bit tight in the cups with my latest swelling, so this bra has made me happy again. My very soft, narrow-rooted, FoB breasts are happy. I hope it stays as comfortable asll day and after a washing or two (please, bra gods, be kind this time!)
I haven't yet ever tried an EM bra that actually worked for me. This is too small for me to be sure, but I also feel as though I wouldn't totally love this bra if it did fit. It's too stretchy, not supportive enough. I'm currently really into bras that fit AND hold me in - so if I jog down the street or bounce down a flight of stairs, I'm not going to flop out of my bra. The thin, very stretchy straps on this bra, plus the thin, very malleable, low-cut foam of the cups, plus the extreme stretch of the band (which is, however, very comfortable), make me guess that this bra would not make me happy.
I'm actually wearing this bra right now https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I found it on Ebay for a really good price so I decided to try it (the seller said it had only been worn twice). I've never tried an Ewa Michalak before and figured this would be a good way to figure out my size. The only other Polish brand I've tried is Comexim (which I LOVE) and I'm a 75F in their bras. This EM bra that I bought is an 80F … so I assumed it might be a little big. The band actually fits PERFECTLY! It's has 4 rows of ...three hooks - and I wear it on the second to last hook so I still have hooks to use if the band stretches. The cups are little big - when I wear the bra with the removable pads there is only a little gapping (maybe .25 inches or less). If I remove the pads there is about a .5 inch gap. So… I can only wear this bra with the removable pads. This gives me amazing lift, but almost pushes my nipple out of the cup. I think my size for a EM bra should be an 80E or 75F. I think I would prefer to wear the bra without the pads to let my boobs sit a little lower in the cups for extra coverage. Still this bra is VERY comfortable and makes my boobs look awesome. I know someone commented on the straps - yes, they are a pain to adjust! This makes fixing the straps while wearing impossible…. but it does assure that the straps won't move or re-adjust when wearing! Oh, and the strap placement is awesome for narrow shoulders https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> One weird thing about the fabric on the outside of the bra is that is does wrinkle quite a bit. I think someone else may have mentioned this too. I've never had a padded bra do this. It doesn't show under clothing… but it does make it look a bit strange when wearing it. Read more 246 more words
I love this bra! Really cute design with all the little buttons and the criss cross pattern detailing which makes a the fact that it's a nude bra much more interesting. Very comfortable, perfectly snug band, cups are just a tad too small for me and as I'm quite close set the gore doesn't sit quite right. I had suspected this might be the case as I'm still trying to pin down my Polish size. Overall is an awesome bra, wish it fit!
The S cut, just like the CHP, simply doesn't work with my shape. Either I've been incredibly unlucky in the bras that I've bought - both have had a cup width of more than 15 cm, which creates numerous fit issues, apart from the wires ending up halfway around my ribcage. I need deep, narrow cups with an open top and lots of lower projection - I have an oblong, even shape, but most of my tissue sits in the middle of my chest, so I label myself as centre-heavy. The width of the cups makes the wires poke out from my underbust and not follow the shape ...of my ribcage, like they should. The cups are much too shallow, and it feels like my breasts are trying to escape both out the top and bottom. The straps are also waaaaay too wide-set, which is impressive, since my shoulders are the widest part of my body, and I hardly ever have this problem. Fit-wise, it's a fairly big no.
Pros: - Removable pads - Soft materials, cotton on the inside of the cups - Three hooks with *four* settings! - Simple but stylish appearance - Nice beige colour and criss-cross texture which doesn't show through tops
Cons: - The satin band across the cups is a lighter colour and is visible through light clothing - All the fit issues mentioned above. Read more 114 more words
This is my new all-time favorite bra cut. Everything about it is outstanding. The band fits great, the wires are the perfect width and height, the cup depth is perfect, and get this -- even the straps are in an acceptably comfortable spot. Plus, there's enough uplift to make my saggy, FoB boobs look pretty freakin' amazing. The addition of the pad inserts (which I am wearing in the pictures) just give me a little extra oomph when I want it. The cups still fit great without the pads.
The Karmelki color is an interesting change from the normal beige/nude colors out there. I have a medium/neutral-pink skin ...tone, so some nudes that are too pale or yellow look horrible against my skin (and show under light clothing.) This particular color seems to work well under clothing for me, even though it is slightly darker than my skin. Darker works better than lighter for me, I've found. For example, 75JJ - Ewa Michalak » Pl Satine, was a fail as a nude bra for me, even though it is gorgeous.
I don't really have much else to say besides the fact that I'm in love with the S cut! I did not feel this passionate about it when I was a larger size. I used to have 70JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Porcelanka and 75J - Ewa Michalak » S Fiołek , which were both on the verge of being too small for me at the time. I began wearing the PL cut in size 75JJ shortly after, so now I'm 2 band/cup sizes smaller than before. The cup construction is slightly different in the larger cup sizes (70JJ+/sister sizes is where it starts, I suspect.) The cups are made with 4 part in that size range, whereas in this one and my 65JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Pieprzyk (473) the cups are made of only 3 parts. The 4 part construction actually makes the cup shape more round, which I kind of missed in this size. In the larger sizes, I had more fit issues (wires too high under my arms, straps too far apart, cups too far apart.) However, all of these issues were barely to non-existant in my new size, thankfully! I will definitely be getting more S bras when the new designs are released. Read more 292 more words
This bra is fantastic! I love the design - it is sleek and sophisticated and sexy. No bows, no frippery, but buttons and textured fabric galore!
The fit is also pretty great on me - if the wires were a little narrower, I would say this would be the perfect bra for me. I usually have a lot of trouble with bras accommodating my inner fullness, and some trouble with bras cutting in on top, and both of these issues are pretty well resolved with this bra. The gore could be either a tiny bit narrower or a tiny bit shorter for how ...close-set my boobs are, but it's not a major issue here at all.
Of course there has to be one "but," though - the straps on this bra are just downright stupid. The fancy trim running down the middle of the whole strap looks nice, but good luck adjusting them when you're wearing the bra, and be prepared for a five-minute ordeal even with the bra off... Other than that, though, this really is a fantastic bra, and I love everything else about it. Read more 89 more words
