Hasn't set fit

I obsessed over this bra for ages, but by the time I first took the Polish plunge EM was no longer making it, and I was eternally heartbroken. So, when I was able to buy this bra from another Bratabase user, I was absolutely ecstatic. However, in reality 65GG is about an entire cup size too big for me in the S style, and I definitely can't wear it without pads, especially on my smaller side; the cups are just too tall and gape. Nevertheless, the style is so vintage-y and feminine... the cameo truly makes it.

My first Ewa bra!

For reference, I wear a 32FF in Cleo.
I'm really glad I took a chance on this bra. I would have ordered it in a 75G (I've read EM bands can run tight), but they did't have it in stock, so 70G it is.

The 70/32 band is great. It has 4 rows of 3 hooks, and it's very firm and comfortable. I got another Ewa S bra in a 75 band (75G - Ewa Michalak » S Beżuś) , and it was definitely too loose, so I'm glad I got this in a 70.

As for ... the cups, there is a little gaping at the top, although the removable pads help with that. I put both pads on my smaller side to even things out. While there is some gaping, I wouldn't go down a cup size (to match my Cleo size). I think I'd be spilling out if I did. So the advice I read on sizing up a cup in the S cut is true, at least for me. I want to try an EM bra in the CHP cut, as I've read it's more closed on top.

Another thing to note is I have the straps as long as they will go (as I have to with almost all bras), and they're still pretty tight. I'll have to wear it longer to know if that will be an issue.

Also the straps/top of the cups are digging in near my underarms a bit, but again, I'll have to wear it a while to decide if that's a major issue.

Another I love and I should have just special ordered in the right size. It's classy, vintage, totally different feel. Cute little cameo in the center. Details are set and really work out.

I received this from another bratabase user in hopes of figuring out my EM size. The previous owner mentioned special ordering the 65 band, but it measures more like a 70. This bra is pretty and seems well-made, unfortunately the gore doesn't tack likely due to the cups being too big.

This is the other bra from the package I waited 7 long weeks for. As much as I was hoping it would work, I just dont think it is right. The S might just be a complete style mismatch for me. So unfortunate since the S seems to be one of their major styles of focus! There are so few PLs available and that seems to be my only EM option.
I absolutely love the design of S Kamea. Its sort of got a sophisticated sexy vibe! It reminds me of a sexy pencil skirt and a blazer with a little pop of lace and color underneath. Don't ask ... me why I envision an outfit when I look at a bra, I don't get it either haha. The good was once again the cleavage! Incredible, up out there and in your face cleavage. I paid extra to custom order 65HHs but the bands stretch to 32"! It is way too loose for me and I have to go straight to the second and third hooks. Like I mentioned in my other review, I don't get why I even paid for the custom size then! It was definitely on the small side in the cups as well. Even with the cookies out my boobs were flowing out the top quite a bit. It also gave me a really torpedo-y boob shape! It looked absolutely awful under a tshirt. The cups would probably mold to me a little better after a few wears but it just has too many fails. The tag next to the cup on this one says XXL and again I am just assuming its related to the wires? But I much preferred the XL of my PL Blekitna Rapsodia over this XXL. These wires were too wide and definitely too tall (height was a problem on the PL too though). Also like the PL, the wing area was too high and rubbing in my armpit too. But that is something normal for me it seems. I just prefer Comexim for being willing to help me with that problem. With EM, you get what ya get. The gore is too high for me also. That is one of the biggest reasons S and I will never get along. I am very close set and my poor boobies were like battling against it the whole time I wore it.
So the bad certainly is outweighing the good. EM is not the best choice for me, although the PL is somewhat manageable.   actually I googled it. I dont really see the comparison. I'm not saying that things fit wrong, I'm saying that I bought 2 or 3 bands in whatever-band-size and they arent the same band size at all.
  
  apparently this whole deal was more about people trying to get her to help them figure out whey their bras werent fitting right, and she wasnt helpful.
  
  I dont want any help, I just think they should be aware of the inconsistency of the band lengths. They apparently are somewhat aware, as some of the bras are marked as having a firmer band, so you should order up a size, but they havent gotten that disclaimer on all the bras they should have it on.

- I havent tried the SM yet! Do you wear the same size as in other styles? I want to try again but it worries me. And if i do, i know i need to send them an email about the band lengths of these. I was really hoping to avoid that confrontation lol. I had originally tried a 70HH (PL Wrzos) and it was huge on me band, cup, and strap. Their response was that it wasn't what the calculator requested, of course it doesn't fit (i was asking for advice on what size to order next based on photos). Technically i did do what the calculator said though not on purpose lol. Calculator said 70GG i added 2 cups for projection and "firm body" lol. So i requested 65HH for these orders and they tried to talk me out of it. Said the straps and band issue would be fixed once the cup was my proper size and that if i ordered 65HH id have strap width problems. But if these 65HH are small in the cup, 70HH should fit me right?! But i was swimming in it! Honestly i feel like they just made them like 70s anyways just to spite me lol. But i know thats being a little ridiculous to assume ;)
- I have the SM Cynamon in a 65HH. Which is a great fit and I normally a 28J. The 65 band is actually tight fits closer to a 28band. So
  I would order a 65HH/J depending :)
- I do get some quadboobing as the day goes on.
- I actually used their calculator, but (as advised elsewhere) I breathed out and sucked in and pulled tight for the tight measurement - much tighter than my usual tight measurement. It put me in a 70HH, and I wrote asking advice before ordering, and they suggested I get my 70HH - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bibi Beżowa Perła (533) in 70HH and the 70J - Ewa Michalak » Sm Fiolecik (642) in 70J. the cups both are pretty good - the Perla is slightly small and the Fiolecik is slightly large - but the perla band is great and the fiolecik band requires an extender.
  
  I'm not in a hurry to buy another EM, but I would probably try a padded one if I did.
- So i ended up emailing them about the bands. I just politely asked what a 65 should stretch to. I said that both bras i received stretched to 32" which i thought was more like a 70 and that i had ordered these specifically because the 70s were HUGE on me. I didnt even mention all the things i wanted to and that i had to special order these yet still got more like a 70.
  
  The response: Some bands are stretchier than others (like the PL Blekitna Rapsodia). You can always email us first to find out how a band behaves. And then she told me where i could sew the bra to make it smaller if its really too big on me.
  
  Are you serious? I PAID EXTRA for THEM to sew the bra! Not for me to have to do it. And this wasnt just the Rapsodia. The S Kamea was EXACTLY the same. I could have just ordered a 70H then! SO MAD!
- Yeah, customer service is definitely NOT their strong point. Its frustrating since its hard to get such small bands and they arent making it any easier on you.

Well, this is a bra that broke my heart.

It's gorgeous - I love the black and pale dusky purple (I love bright colors, but I'm also a sucker for muted shades). I like the lace and the cute little cameo charm on the gore. The band fits nicely and fits me well; if anything it was slightly too stretchy, but I normally wear 36s and 85 is basically a 38, so I expected that.

But it doesn't work on me, which is genuinely frustrating as I was so sure that the S cut would work with my boobs.

I had the guess at the size - there ... is literally no info on EM's S cuts in this size (until now!), and it's slightly too small in the cup - the gore doesn't *quite* tack and my boobs feel a bit smooshed in the cups. So I probably would have those issues go away with an 85J.

The bigger problem, which makes it unwearable for me, is that the top of the cups are just too tall and too open. I apparently have really short breasts. Almost all of my bras have some extra space or gaping lace at the top, especially where the cup meets the strap (I also apparently are more center-full). I had hoped this would not be the case for this bra, but unfortunately, it is. There's so much extra fabric and padding sticking straight up from the top. Putting the inserts in helps a little bit, but not enough to make it work. The gaping is most prominent towards the outside of the cup, but it's incredibly obvious all over.

On the plus side, the narrow wires aren't too narrow for me, so that's good to know.

  It is entirely the height that is the problem. The cups themselves are definitely not too big or too projected - just way too tall and open on top. :(
- I'm glad that I was not the only one that found it slightly too small. It is very open on top - not overly so for me, but close.
- To my (still newbie) eye this looks like a short root problem? Its too bad they dont offer this fabric in an 'H' style. But it looks like the CHP style cant be ordered larger than an 80H? What about custom shorter cups?

  As a fellow short rooted gal: the versions that are unlined (ex: HM/BM) or the ones with lined cups and removable pads give more wiggle room on finding a right heighted fit. I agree- if the fabric is stiiff, any gaping along the top edge is super dramatic. I tend to do better in the ewa CH type cuts on the whole. But short roots also give you less overall volume than someone with taller roots and the same peremiter. So it's easy to overestimate size in some bras. I know a lot of folk size up in some ewa bras, but I actually wear the same to one cupsize down in the S and PL.
- How tight or loose did you have the straps?
- I think that the reason why the gore doesn't tack and your boobs feel smooshed in the center while there's such massive gaping, is because this cup size is way larger than what you need - which results in much higher gore than your boobs can handle. So basically the center portion of the bra, which is unproportional and only supposed to support the middle crease of much larger volume, ends up handling all your boob tissue so that's the stress. Trying 2-3 cup sizes down (so 85G/GG) should really fix all this.

A good fit, not quite as centered as my favorite CHP. But good lift and support and very comfortable.
Reasonably true to size; I could use just a smidge more room in the cup on my larger side.
Has the interior pockets for cookies to correct asymmetry or add vavoom.

Used to fit

This bra fits me like a glove. The band is a bit tight, and more close to the 32 bands I've owned in S model bras than the 34 band CHPs I have. The straps are in the perfect position, and don't rub my arm pit at all, unlike other S models I have owned in the past. The cups fit perfectly on both my larger and smaller side (bra magic!), and give great uplift. Aesthetically, the mauve is a bit more dull that I would have liked, but I do love the hint of the pinstripe color on the black fabric of the cup and how it extends to the entire band. I took off the little gore decal in the middle, because it reminded me too much of a grandmother's broach, and I much prefer the look of it without that.
