All of my best-fitting bras are Ewa Michalak, so I was SO excited when she released a new swimsuit set! I know everyone has a different ideal in mind when it comes to bikini tops, so I'll start by saying that I personally prefer something lightly padded that will give a nice lifted shape and a little cleavage while still feeling secure overall. Happily, this top really delivers in each of those areas! It does an excellent job of lifting and centering just like the S cut bras, and the cleavage is pretty spectacular depending on whether or not you choose to use the pads. At the same ... time, I would be totally comfortable running down the beach in this without worrying that I would accidentally scandalize an innocent bystander https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> It feels sturdy, comfortable and very well-constructed. But, be forewarned-- the straps are on the stretchy side, and while I don't mind personally, I wonder if it might pose a problem in larger cup sizes.

The color is a borderline-neon reddish pink with a slight orangey undertone. I was unprepared for how bright it is in real life! If you're looking for something that will stand out at the pool or beach, this is definitely it. In truth, pink is not my first choice and I wish the color was a little less vicious, but against the graphic black trim that lines the vertical seams and crosses over itself almost in a corset-like way at the gore, it actually makes for a beautiful and interesting design. As for the small removable straps, I personally really don't care for them and will be wearing this bikini without. Maybe for a vacation with my boyfriend they'd be fine, but otherwise I feel like they make the top look a little too much like bondage-inspired lingerie to be wearing comfortably around family and friends https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I do however love the little fabric tie at the back and think it's a really cute way to hide the bra's hook and eye closures.

I didn't end up ordering the matching bottoms because I wasn't sure about how high-waisted they are, but I think this top would be equally cute with solid black bottoms as well.

Lovely! I think it looks more like a bathing suit on you than it did on the EM models.

    • 1

Thanks! Yeah, it can be difficult to tell from the photos sometimes but thankfully it definitely looks like swim fabric in person rather than a regular bra.

    • But i also focus on the models closest to my size (I'm wearing 75JJ in S's ) and i think anything that big looks like . . underwear no matter what

    • Oh wow, this is such a great design! I am so fascinated by the black lines on this. Super cool! I can understand why you'd be a little wary of wearing the extra straps around the beach though - I'd probably feel the same way lol.
This looks great though! That tie back is adorable!

    • 1

It looks great, I really like the black ribbons. Ewa said it's a true swim fabric, it comes from Italy.

Are these still 3 part cups despite of 3 vertical trims?

    • vesela_krava yes, the seams look like the normal 3 part cup construction. It fits exactly like a regular S bra in the same size :)

    • I wish she would make a swimsuit based on the 3D cut. I might even be willing to brave a bikini in public if she did.

    • 1

I ordered the bottoms mainly because with the free shipping it was worth it to check them out. I have a butt, so I can pull them down and wear them not high waisted. I'm 5'7" with a long torso though, so I don't know if that made a difference. They actually aren't too high though. They're really cute. I planned to wear them only with black bottoms, but I actually like the bottoms. I had to get a cup size down but such an upgrade from VS! Much cuter than in pics

It's beautiful and looks so lovely on you.

I'm getting antsy waiting for mine (in an S and an M), I've wanted it since she posted it to Facebook.
      Did you get matching bottoms?

    • 2

      jlcl119 thanks! :D Me too!

Nope, they were too expensive for me :( But luckily the bra looks great with navy blue panties! <3

    • 3

Wow, that bra is beautiful! I didn't know I wanted a green bra until now.

That is one seriously gorgeous bra! Congrats! :)

WOW!!!!!!! And, OMG....WOW!!! Lol! This bra is BEYOND sexy!!! I love it! I wasn't sure if the 65FF would fit as nicely after not having the same luck with the Czarna Mgielka and Kusidelko in a 65FF. And with my Wanilla being a perfect fit in the 60G, I wasn't sure what to expect. But this bra fits like a glove!! Like it was made for my girls https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I was only able to upload a couple pics, the site wasn't cooperating. I've been having a lot of trouble lately trying to upload my pics. It's been taking forever, or it says ... the site is under maintenance. I'll try again a little later.

I will say, tho, I thought this bra was more of a pink color. But it's not. It's def a tannish nude, like the Kusidelko and Nana Bezowa. I was a bit upset when I took the bra out of the package and noticed one of the rhinestones was missing on the adjustable strap - not like Ewa to slip up like that. But no biggie. I did have to tighten the straps a great deal, they seemed a bit longer than usual, but I think it has to do with the design of the back of the straps. I also had to hook the band on the second to last hook. The band seems a bit stretchier than usual, but it could just be me. The width of the wires are perfect, the depth of the cups are perfect. The gore tacks nicely and isn't a problem. I really have no complaints about this bra at all. And it was surprisingly very comfy!!! I only tried it on for a few minutes, though. But such a lovely bra, and it gives a nice shape as well. Very very pleased https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I also bought the matching briefs with this, and I didn't have the same luck with those. They were too big and baggy for me, seemed a bit on the larger side for a 36.

But I highly recommend this bra!!! If you're really looking for something SUPER sexy, stylish, supportive AND comfy, this is that bra!!!!

Congratulations on this awesome looking bra! You really rock it :)

    • 2

      oooohhhhhhh!!! So pretty!

    • 4

I'm seriously questioning my decision to not purchase this bra.
      It looks incredible on you!

    • 1

This is absolutely gorgeous on you! Ugh to have the upper fullness to make something like this look good... Oh well, Ewa will probably come out with more bondagey ones since these have done so well.

    • 1

Thank you ladies :) If you've been considering purchasing this bra, DO IT!!! Haha!!! So far, everyone I've seen it on looks amazing! And the little straps above the cup are adjustable, so it could definitely work with less upper pole, I would think. This is my absolute FAV EM bra right now!!!!!

    • 1

It's so amazing!!! And looks great on you!
I've read somewhere that it runs smaller, is it true?

    • 1

Thank you :) I wouldn't say that it runs small, but true to size. I usually wear a 65FF in EM, and this was no different. Other EM bras I've tried (SM unlined) in a 65FF didn't fit as nicely and perfectly as this one does.

    • oh such shame! i love it so much but have to pass on it :(

It looks so so so amazing on you! :D Holy moly i am in loooove with it for you! I have it too but i like it better on you lmao!

This new lace Ewa used is lovely, light, soft, and very breathable for summer. The shade has a more yellow undertone. The lower cup is a three part construction with the inner layer being a non stretch mesh with a lace overlay. The upper cup consists of a layer of stretch mesh folded over on itself with a layer of lace over it. The center gore has a little bow with a diamond pendant. The back band is a new type of power mesh I have yet to see. It. Is. Stiff! It definitely has a firm hold, yet when you have it on it doesn’t feel constricting ... or uncomfortable. Because this bra is new, it does buckle when I cross the straps, but this can be alleviated by making the band tighter. The back clasp is a 3x4 closure. The straps are a satin finish elastic with a hook and loop closure where the strap meets the cup. I feel this band runs a little bigger than usual.

*The picture of the back showing the straps crossed shows some band bucking. This goes away if I wear the band on a tighter setting.

    High waisted panties size 38:
I purchased the matching panties in my usual size. The front of the panties consists of a panel made using the new stiffer power mesh found on the bra band. This gives a good hold in the tummy area. The side of the panties is made using the matching lace, that wraps around to the back. The waistband is a thin matching elastic. There is a seam up there center rear. There is a cotton gusset. There are no bows, gems, or adornments.

This looks like the exact bra I needed 1 year ago. I now have a little less volume and inner fullness, but if I gain weight again I 100$ need one of these.

    • 1

meganelaineshaw1 I like this so much I may purchase the black version of it. I also purchased the BM Dusk as well. So glad I did. The lace is super summer friendly and I adore the upper stretch lace. It definitely accommodates size fluctuations.

    • 1

I’m very late but if you do buy the Le Noir I would love to know how you think the bands fit comparatively! I found that the band of the PLM Le Noir ran much bigger than other EM bras.

    • 2

moonshineforest she did review the Le noir here: https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dnlmk/

    • 2

moonshineforest This definitely falls in line with the other PLM’s. The band runs bigger compared to the BM’s. I will say the lace on this is very light. I feel almost bouncy when I walk. The Le Noir has a much more study feel to it. I feel more locked in in the Le Noir.

I’m convinced the Antonina, in all its versions, is the only white bra I’d ever own. This lace is beautiful!

This is a very deep plunge with multi way straps. Perfect for summer dresses or tank tops with a racer back or plunging necklines.
The cup has a three part cup bottom, that consists of a non stretch tan fabric with a white lace overlay. The upper cup is a tan stretch mesh folded over on itself as well as a white lace overlay. The upper part of the cup where the strap attaches, is a tan fabric with lace overlay and ends with a white ring. There ... is white lace along the sides of the band from the wire to the side seam. The back band is a tan stretch mesh with white mesh edging that continues along the whole upper and lower band, even along the front bottom. There is a cute white bow with a diamond pendant on the center gore over a tan mesh background. The straps are a white elastic with a slight sheen to it and the straps end in a white clasp that attach to the ring on the front of the cup. All hardware is white. The back clasp is white with a 3x4 closure.

I do feel this particular one has a little less projection at the wire, causing it to buckle a little. Overall this doesn’t take away from the function of the bra, nor can you see it under clothing. However I do find this one fits slightly tighter under the sides when the straps are crossed, causing more visible back fat, at least on me. When the straps are worn regular, this does not happen. Still beautiful bra and will get much use out of it both crossed or uncrossed.

    Brazilian cut panties, size 38:
Despite not being a huge fan of Brazilian cut panties, I did get the matching set. The panties are super cute, but not my best fit. However, they are comfortable.
The front panel is a tan stretch mesh. While it is a darker tone on me, you can still see through it and all your business down there until the cotton gusset kicks in.
There is matching white lace on the sides of the hip. The back consists of two tan mesh panels with a seam up the rear. The waistband and leg holes are edged with white stretch mesh, matching the bra, with the front of the waistband having a very subtle v shape. There are no other adornments, bows, or gems. There is a tan cotton gusset in the crotch.

I love the antonina lace also! It's so beautiful! I haven't been paying attention to the new EM cuts, and I didn't know she had these PLM now.

    • 2

I ordered the Le Noir in my usual SF/BM size and it is pretty shallow at the wire with wrinkles/buckling. I went up a cup size for PLM Antonina and it's much better. Considering the construction, it makes sense that it would be harder to allow for depth with such a short wire. I'm loving PLM Antonina!

    • 2

Wilderness1 It’s a really good concept and functions fairly well. So far she has this PLM Antonina and a black PLM Noir. Crossing fingers she comes out with a tan version of some sorts.

WildWolff Strangely my Noir had a little more room at the wire vs this one. But it also has more flexibility in the upper band, so I don’t know if that adds to it in some way. I’m afraid of trying a cup up in fear of it being too separate for my boobs. Definitely a favorite none the less. Will make summer dressing a breeze.
I low key wish this could be made using the sheer mesh used on the SMN. That would be my ultimate summer bra win lol.

    • 2

I was worried about the cup separation as well, it feels the same between the le noir and the antonina in a size up, but it may get wider in 65H. The antonina is a little more summer friendly than the le noir with the mesh and lace, but it would be nice to get a double mesh layer for hot days.

    • You call that back fat? I'll show you back fat!

Actually no I won't show you my back fat when I have my Simone Perele Muse strap's crossed in back. But you can take it from me, your backfat from Ewa's Plm Antonina is nothing to worry about!

Thanks for the review, Happy2BraShop !

    • Happy2BraShop did you see the new PLM bikini launched today?! And some other bras, but I remember we were wondering about the swimsuit.

Happy2BraShop did you see the new PLM bikini launched today?! And some other bras, but I remember we were wondering about the swimsuit.

    • WildWolff Oh my gosh! Totally! I had a feeling the neon one was a bathing suit, and so happy it is. Tho the bottoms aren’t my jam, in definitely getting the top. I mix and match my bikinis all the time.
I swear I just looked on the website last night and this wasn’t there. So glad you gave me a shout out for it. :)

    • WildWolff Aaannnnnd add to cart lol. Just got a PLM Sunshine top and a PLM Dust bra! I’m super excited for the new drops.

    • I got the email from Ewa this morning! I'm waiting for that other pink option from her Instagram, I love the color. The bottoms overall in this collection felt a little "not my jam" lol so much elastic and cuts I'm not used to.

    • 1

WildWolff I did get the Antonina Brazilian briefs to try. They are very comfy! But, not a cut I’d wear in swimwear lol. I for one am definitely waiting for something using that ladybug fabric she posted about!

    Fits

Edit: This bra does fit. Unfortunately, after multiple wears, it’s become clear that it also digs into my arms where the cup meets the strap. It feels ok at first, but after a few hours, I can’t wait to get it off. I think I’m going to have to give up on Polish, as they all seem to have this problem for me.

OMG, it actually fits. After almost a year of looking for bras. Hundreds of returns. Thousands of dollars in transactions. Blood, sweat, and tears.

    My fit problems:
    - Straps are ALWAYS too wide and cut painfully into my armpits
    - Wires are *usually* too wide in a size that ... will fit my projection
    - Cups are always too wide set

    My shape:
    - Narrow roots
    - Narrow shoulders (I didn’t learn this until I started trying to find a bra that actually fits)
    - Immediate projection
    - Tall roots, but the tissue is much thinner up top, so functionally FOB, I guess
    - Very close set (1 finger width when supported)
    - High set (I’m short at 5’3” and also short waisted)
    - Rib flares
    - My smaller breast lacks a bit of the upper fullness of my larger breast
    - Soft tissue

In the A Bra That Fits calculator, I measure a 30F. Due to how wide most bras are, I’ve been wearing 30DD and 30E in an attempt to mitigate wide wires and painful straps. The cups never fit quite right, but I’d convinced myself that a 30F just must not be my correct size.

I ordered this EM Bibi about 6 months ago from a local boutique, but due to a series of snafus that I won’t bore anyone with, it took a very long time to arrive. It’s here, and YAY!

    The pros:
    - The cups fit great.
    - Even with my slight unevenness, I don’t get any gaping on either side. The stretch lace is quite accommodating.
    - The narrow gore doesn’t sit on my center tissue. At all! (Whoa.)
    - It’s quite pretty.

    The cons:
    - I would love it if the straps were even just a little narrower set (maybe 1cm). That said, these straps do not painfully dig in the way basically everything else does. My hope is that as the bra breaks in, I won’t notice the straps at all.
    - I would love it if the bra had 3 hooks instead of 2, because I find the extra support more comfortable. But that’s really hard to find in a 30F.

All in all, I think this is a great fit. Finally!

Congratulations! My boobs are very much like yours by description, and 65F/70E is about what I need in Ewa right now...I could possibly get a cup size down in BM I think.

    • 1

Calluna I’m curious about a cup size down, too, but it’s so difficult to try variations of EM due to the wait time on orders. :(

    • 1

Have you tried ordering from Levana or Forever Yours? Much faster than Poland but reduced selection.

    • Calluna Yes, I’ve looked, but they seem to stay back ordered on the bras I’m interested in (in my size, anyway). I’ll keep an eye out, though!

This is a beautiful bra that I got from Sheena on the bratabase listings. Both listings that I got recently, one from Sheena (Ewa Michalak) and one from Anya99 (Comexim) were both 10/10 quality. So, I recommend both of these bratabase users, I know Anya99 has a lovely collection!

Anyway bra nerds: I definitely consider this a fit, but my nipples are not perfectly at the apex of the bra. By that I mean, they are not where the seams meet in the center of the cup. But it really is not a problem for me, I still get a flattering shape. ... I don't think the cups are too big though.

Lastly, the band feels pretty stretchy, I do have it on the first set of hooks. That being said, you tell from the pictures that I am maybe straining the 3 hooks a little bit, lol. But I really like my tight band, so Idk. This is a 70, but I did stretch it to about 30 inches, so it is a small 70 - thank you Sheena for the accurate description. (that being said I know we all measure differently!!)

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this "bra win." It's the bratabase listings doing it's job. Lol.

Looks like a good fit! It's a rare thing for my nipples to sit where they should. They're usually lower and/or more centre.

    • 2

Same here kate166 . I just have low nipples

    • 1

Looks like another EM bra win, congrats! Ps. I thought this one was a darker colour, good to see how it really looks.

    • 2

Okay, that is interesting kate166 and bustyand !

margesimpson , I actually just snapped a photo with my phone comparing the colour: this bra (Deser Nugatowy vs. BM Perla) and you can totally see the difference! https://www.bratabase.com/picture/dm3r2/

sometimes I think it's just the lighting. I took the try-on photos in a sunny room.

I think this would work for medium tone skin. As you can see what it looks like in alternative lighting.

Thank you for your input, ladies!!

    • 2

I’d agree with the nipple bit. Mine are usually lower than the diagonal seams. Especially in EM BM. I find that the 70 bands fit more like 30 than 32, which I prefer, though some 65 bands can be stretchy, like the Onyks I just got.

    • 2

BraOdyssey thanks for the comparison photo! You can really see the shade there. Awesome!

    • 1

margesimpson , I noticed today that Broad Lingerie in Toronto just started carrying this bra, https://shop.broadlingerie.com/collections/polish-bras/products/nougat-balconette-beige?variant=40768134545607 Also, BM Heaven, my two favourite new releases, lol!

    • 1

BraOdyssey I’m too late! I just checked and the nougat BM is sold out of my size (and most sizes). Not that I needed to buy another bra anyway lol

    • 1

margesimpson Have you checked Forever Yours Lingerie in BC? I know that they had it at one point as I tried a couple sizes of it on.

    • 1

Calluna yes, I have checked and for sure they have it. Buuuut they’re more expensive. Hoping at some point to get it on sale. I tried to exchange a bra with Ewa Michalak and they said they never received it so I lost 100+ $ :( Right now I have a ton of bras too lol

I love this bra! It’s a bit big in the cup so I have to wear it with the cookies, which feels like cheating, but I do love wearing it. My 60G/65FF EM bras are all too small in the cup now but my new 60GGs are a little big, so I guess what I need is a 60G 1/2.

This bra is a custom cut and size, as Wenecja is normally a BM style and 60 bands are custom order. The cup height (on this and the other 60GG CHP I custom ordered, review coming soon) is over a half inch higher than my other CHPs, which ... is annoying but doesn’t really affect me. The band is pretty TTS for an EM 60, stretching to just under 27”. This is why I tend to recommend her 60 bands to people like me who measure as a 26 band.

The gore doesn’t stab me but it does sit on my breast tissue the tiniest bit on my bigger side. This is an issue I never really encountered before but have been encountering since I grew, particularly with Comexim bras. It’s weird because I’m definitely not close set.

The fabric of this bra, aside from being gorgeous, is fairly soft and the straps are very satiny. I wish it fit perfectly, but the fit is pretty close. I also should’ve gotten the matching briefs, since I got them for the CHP Rimini and they’re beautiful.

This looks gorgeous on you! This bra in BM is one of my hands down favorite. The color is stunning. I definitely love the matching briefs. Of all her panty styles, the briefs that have the sheer back portion with the lace overlay is super comfortable and very flattering. I have several pairs of the cut and they’re my most reached for.

Malachit was another on my want list and super happy I have it. The color is hard to capture. It’s green, but has a dark teal color to it. The fit of this reminds me of BM Kleks as far as how fit goes.

The entire outside of the bra is the same teal-green lace, with the upper cup consisting of stretch lace over black stretch mesh. The inside of the lower cups consist of black non stretch mesh. The back-band definitely falls on the snug side with the inside of the band being a black stretch mesh. The back clasp consists of 2x4 hooks that are the same color teal-green. The elastic straps are easy stretch satiny elastic with a scalloped edge. The hardware is black on the straps. There is a cute teal-green bow on the center of the gore.

Oh the Malachit, such a gorgeous colour!

This is such a beautiful color! Looks so good on you!

    • 1

This color is so beautiful! I want this bra so much! Good pick! If for some reason you go insane and decide you don't like it, hit me up. Lol

    • 1

marilynne I will make sure I leave my bras to you in my will lol. This is a lovely color. It’s so much better in person, pictures don’t capture the beautiful color.

    • 1

Happy2BraShop, don't be surprised if you happen to die of mysterious circumstances after you revise your will, lol.
Would you say the pictures on ewa's website accurately depict the color?

    • 1

marilynne Haha be right back, screen shotting above message and downloading to hard drive for evidence lol.
I’d say if you look at the pics on here, there is one under 70K where a Bratabase member is lifting the top of the cup, that to me shows more closely what the color resembles in real life. It’s very beautiful shade of green.

    Fits

I've ordered yet another Ewa Michalak bra, this time from Levana Bratique. There were a few bras in stock in a 75J, and I decided on the BM Kleks (listed as the Lace bra on the site). I noticed that the 75J was listed as 34M US (75J), which is I believe is actually the correct conversion, but is different than how the Rack Shack (32J-->75J) and Bras Galore (32M-->75J) did the size conversion. At any rate, what I received was in fact a 75J. This bra is unpadded, with a black mesh inner layer and navy blue lace outer layer, giving an overall "ink blue" effect when wearing it. The cups felt a bit smaller than the ones on my 75J - Ewa Michalak » Bm Koronkowa , but I think that is due to the lace being a little less stretchy and my breasts being a bit swollen. I would imagine it will fit better next week.

That looks great on you. I love the blue!

    • 2

This looks good! I own this bra, and it got more comfy after a few wears and washes. :)

Also, it’s the correct size conversion on Levana’s site, but the BM tends to run 1 band small so that’s why the other stores do it differently.

    • really pretty!!

    • Nice colour, looks good!

    Hasn't set fit

Got this through the Bratabase listings, could not resist the beautiful purple color!
    Thank you damaries (:

My normal Ewa M. size is ~70GG but I was willing to try this 65H with an extender, as in the U.S. it doesn't happen too often that you find an affordable Ewa Michalak (good as new) close to your size, and in such a gorgeous style!

To my surprise, when it arrived it actually pretty much fits as-is..?
May still add an extender for comfort (I don't normally wear my bands super tight) but it's not far off. Does kinda make sense, as I normally switch to the second ... or third hooks on my 70 Ewa M. bands after a couple months (and tightest hook after a year or so).

Construction-wise, somehow this almost seems like a 'hybrid' between an SF and a BM to me?
It has similarities to both my 70GG - Ewa Michalak » Sf Zenith (1410) and my 70G - Ewa Michalak » Bm La Gloria (1173), in a good way.
Where Zenith feels quite tall and the gore bothers me after a couple hours, this Iris should technically be a sister size with similar volume, but it definitely fits me smaller and is more scaled down overall. And while Iris' gore doesn't measure any lower than Zenith's, visually it seems to 'dip' a little more in the front, reminding me more of my BM. Also the firmer fabric of the bottom cup, that SF is specifically known for, feels softer for Iris than for Zenith?

Anyhow, not sure if this makes any sense and I'm not an expert at all, only having tried 1 SF and 1 BM before this Iris - but for some reason this bra's construction seems to share characteristics of both!

Appearance-wise I really like the color, it's a deep purple with more red than blue. It's hard to capture in photos but very striking in real life. The upper lace is cute and the purple fabric has some floral print as well, giving it some depth. There's a cute embossed pattern on the straps too and overall the design and finishing is just well-done.

As for fit, I wouldn't switch to 65 bands when ordering directly, but overall this works okay! If we're being super picky there is some squish / smallness on my larger breast, due to asymmetry. This causes the stretchy upper cup portion to slightly flatten / push into my upper fullness, to the point where even my husband -(who unintentionally/vicariously became a bit of an expert on bra fitting, haha)- commented that it looked a bit strained.

Nothing major though and I'm very pleased with this purple gem!

I love this bra! I have it in 55HH and it also has a looser band. It may just be the model.

    • 2

It looks great on you!! I’m so glad it’s working for you. I also agree with your thoughts on it feeling like a hybrid! I also felt like that.

    • 2

pretty! This totally looks like it fits!

    • 3

marilynne ah makes sense then, might just be the fabric or something! Feels like a 67.5 band to me haha.

damaries very happy I could adopt it from you, it found a good home! And that's so interesting that you had the same hybrid vibes (:

BraOdyssey thanks, yes I lucked out!

aww i have this bra in an FB style and its SOO pretty! But my FB band is so tight its one that I'll never be able to wear without an extender. Its one i'll really miss if I lose weight - i'm actually working on losing weight, becuase I was starting to not tack in my FBs and i realy didnt want to go up any bigger.

    Didn't fit

This is my first ever Ewa Michalak bra and I can see what the hype is all about.

When I first put on this bra, I couldn't help but laugh a bit. I look like something out of a porny anime. I will include the pic from slightly under the bust so you can see what I mean. I took all the pics like this because I thought it was the best the bra would fit. Then I took it off and discovered it has removable cookies. These cookies are the largest I have ever seen because they actually go the full length of the wire along the ... bottom. They are not thick, just long and somewhat tall. This makes them actually not miserable to have in the cup, but it is really not necessary for me in this size. With the cookies remove, the fit is much improved. I no longer have quadding at the top and the gore is very close to tacking. I am just ordered the 36JJ/80JJ so I can see if I can get the gore to tack.

All this said, the straps are, as expected, too wide-set for me. The good news is that this set of straps looks exceptionally easy to move inward and I don't believe it will affect the fit much.

And it is absolutely gorgeous!!!! I can't get over how pretty the flowers are on the lace and this tiny little jewel on the bow.

I’m so glad I saw you posted this, I just had a virtual fitting with Judy from Levana Bratique and she suggested an 80JJ for the padded EM bras, was planning on ordering that same one. 😆

Your description of the fit reminds me of how the 80HH - Ewa Michalak » Pl Cappuccino (316) and 36G - Panache » Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951) fit me. 🤣

    • 1

This is too funny. I'm going to upload pictures in just a moment or two, so stay posted. By the way, where do you order your Kris Line from and do you recommend them?

    • 3

I order from eBay, there’s a gal in Poland who has like multiple accounts on there that she sells the Kris Line from, her name is Magda. I like Kris Line, but I’m having a tough time tacking down my size because of how much it’s changed. My 75K bras just fit too tight, but the 80K seems too big in the cup. I should probably try an 80JJ for Kris Line to see if it fits better, but I feel like I’m putting more effort into Ewa bras right now. I definitely love the unlined styles though, they’re pretty and fit great when you get the size right! Fortuna is a favorite and it’s part of their main line so it’s readily accessible. I’ve never tried the semi-soft or padded bras so I don’t have any recommendations for those.

    • 2

Ooh, I love how the bra looks even though it isn’t the right size! The S Antonina looks much better than the BM Antonina to me, idk why. Probably because I couldn’t get the right fit in the BM one, it was always just torpedo shaped!

    • 1

This is awesome info and a great starting point. I am very much still in the trying stuff out phase of finding bras in my size, so buying something unreturnable seems intimidating. But I might have to try out a Kris Line or two once I get more comfortable!

    • 3

Magda does take returns on eBay, but you have to pay return shipping. It ended up being $14 for me on the West coast US, so that’s something to consider. PayPal has some return reimbursement program where they’ll pay for return shipping for up to 12 returns if the purchase is PayPal, but I’ve never tried it.

I think I’ve finally found my *almost* unicorn bra with this 65H - Ewa Michalak » Pl Misty (1438)! I ordered this from Revelation Lingerie after trying a string of non-fitting bras (many!) and I had little hope it would fit, but to my surprise it does! Fits like a glove and is so pretty https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

One thing I’m extra excited about is that the band fits me perfectly! After some COVID lockdown weight gain, I’m awkwardly in between a 28 (they feel slightly too tight/uncomfortable) and a 30 (they feel fine for 5 minutes then slide up my back) back, ... but this bra has the perfect amount of snugness on the loosest hook for me and doesn’t hurt at all after wearing it for the whole day.

The only thing that would make this bra better would be if it was a bit narrower (I only recently realised that my breasts are narrow and NOT wide like I always thought lol — many of the issues I’ve had over the years make sense now). Aside from that, it’s perfect for my projected, close set, inner full, even-full on bottom breasts! This is the second (but only fitting) Ewa Michalak bra I’ve ever tried, so I’m pretty happy with my experience and will deffo be ordering again in the future — I think plunge styles work for me best coz most other bras’ gores stab me in the chest or rest on my breast tissue. Feel free to offer me any recommendations people think I should try based on this success — especially from Polish brands!

Lastly, I bought this bra for £50. I’ll be honest and say that I don’t 100% agree that the bra is worth that much money material-wise, however, I’m happily keeping this because it’s the best fitting bra I’ve ever had. My 28H - Cleo » Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) has finally been dethroned lol.

Edit: Also, as someone who can never find bras with enough immediate projection in my size, this is great!

Edit 2: I’ve realised that I don’t actually need this bra to be any narrower. It perfectly follows my IMF on my left larger breast but is a bit wide on my right smaller breast — if it was any narrower, it would be too narrow for my larger breast.

    • 2

That looks amazing on you! I am glad you have found a good fit. I am tempted to have a go at a Ewa plunge, next time Revelation have a pre order. I just slightly begrude Ewas prices and I have found the bands very stretchy on the 2 I have tried ( one of which I passed on to you 😊) They do not measure much bigger than Comexims bands, perhaps the fabric is just much stretchier? I notice you have sized up a cup aswell, and you have no gaping, like in the half cup. I wonder if this is due to it being a different syle or upping the size?

    • 1

Looks fabulous on you! Glad you had a bra win with this one.

    • 1

souxies Thank you :) I’m obviously bias but I definitely recommend you try the Ewa PL! Revelation should be doing a pre-order this month so it’ll be a good time to try. I 100% feel you on the price though, this is the most expensive bra I’ve ever bought lol.

Compared to the Ewa bra I got from you, I’d deffo say this bra’s band is less stretchy. My boobs seem to have changed so much over the last 2 months that I’m gonna be looking to pass on the Ewa bra you gave me to someone else needing help trying Polish brands. Massive thank you again for that btw, it’s helped me work out a lot of things about my shape/size! I think that with my shape, I just need to stick to projected plunges going forward (although, I am still gonna try ordering a Comexim 3HC in a 65L soon to see how it fits). Interesting to note though, I’ve read that some people find Ewa cups can come up tall — this could’ve been my issue with the Ewa you gave me.

    • 2

Happy2BraShop Thank you, I’m so happy!

    • 1

I will defo give one a try, and keep my eye out for the pre-order. It would be great if you could pass on the one I gave you. It is an expensive buisness trying Ewa out for size😂 If you do try a Comexim 3hc, I would seriously consider having depth added to the base of the cup. I have found them all (except except one) very shallow in the cup. I have them all with 1cm added now and they just fit ( slight overspill on bigger side, esp when TOTM).

    • 2

Looks amazing!!! I agree the price is quite steep. It’s why I’ve hesitated trying out ewa lol but if I could get a fit like this it might be worth it!

    • That’s gorgeous on you! So glad you found a good fit!

    • 1

souxies Yes, deffo will do! Do you have any advice on how to find someone to give it to lol? Or should I just list it for free on here or on a FB selling page?

I’m now thinking I should order one 65L with 1cm added depth at the bottom wire and an overlapping gore, and one 65M with straps moved in 2cm and an overlapping gore. I’m thinking of getting 2 sizes coz I’m aware the bras will take weeks to come so I don’t want my order to eventually arrive and all be too small.

    • 2

margesimpson Yeah, the price still hurts me a bit aha 😂 but yes, I deffo think Ewa is worth a try if you haven’t tried it before!

    • 1

      dagmarwulfe Thank you!!

    • 1

      Rozelyna
I just waited until, I saw someone in the correct size range who was struggling with sizing and maybe wanted to try polish. I did not list as a give away personally, just because I had seen a post about people asking for free bras in every size to sell on. Of course its up to you and if there profile backs up there size, you can tell if they are genuine.

    • 2

souxies Oh wow, I never thought people might do that! I will probably also do what you did then, thank you :)

    Fits

My shape: asymmetrical, round to teardrop, even top/bottom fullness, outer full, close-set when supported, downward pointing nipples, slightly east/west.

I love this bra! I ordered it for the gorgeous deep magenta-ish purple color and the beautiful back design. The floral lace on the band, back straps, and top of the cups is just lovely. I really dig the way it looks - I feel so pretty in it! From the pictures online, I didn't realize that the cup fabric includes tiny black polka dots amid the purple, which is just an added bonus. The cups are lined in black mesh. The straps are wide ... and not as stretchy as typical for EM, but they feature a shiny, pretty embroidered design. The quality is what I've come to expect from EM - soft materials and solid construction. The seams look good with no scratchy edges.

I decided to size up a cup from my 75D - Ewa Michalak » Bm Amazing since I had some slight quadding on my larger side with that one. I'm glad I did, the fit on that side is awesome. There is a small amount of empty space in the top of the cup on my smaller side, but the stretch lace cup edging hides it well - no gaping! I'm really loving the BM cut for my significantly asymmetrical boobs. The band is snug on the loosest hooks, and the gore tacks firmly but not uncomfortably. Score!

The only small gripe I have with this bra is it's not as comfortable as I hoped - despite the lack of rough edges, for some reason it feels just a little bit scratchy when wearing. The mesh on the inside of the cups isn't as smooth as it could be, and the edges of the band bother my skin a little. I wore it for a work day and was definitely ready for it to come off afterward! So that's a bit of a bummer. The appearance and fit make it worth it, though. I'm hoping it will soften with a couple washes.

I custom ordered this Garden bra as a BM after owning it as an SF cut. I’m in love with the colors and print. I just get a better fit in the BM cut than I do the SF cut.
The lower bra cup consists of the silky printed fabric on the out cup with a non stretch white mesh on the inner cup. The upper cup is a lovely more muted purple stretch fine mesh. The backband is the same lovely printed fabric all the way around, with a tighter weave white stretch lining. There is a rich purple 2x4 closure. The elastic along the top ... of the band and bottom of the band is a dark rich shade of purple. The straps are a vibrant rich purple color with a slight sheen to it. All hardware is white. There are vibrant purple bows where the straps meet the cup as well as on the canter gore.
I’m beyond happy with the fit of this bra and so thankful they made it for me. I’m also extremely happy it fit considering this is a custom order and non returnable.

Beautiful! I always loved the "garden" bra.

    • 1

Oh man now I want one. Love this print but the SF just isn’t right on me, I’m a BM girl!

    • bustyand Thank you.
Wilderness1 It’s such a pretty print. And I have floral print. But this just has a delicate water color print about it.
confused Doooo it! I have three SF, one fits a little more forgiving in the cup. The other two I have, the Garden SF included, just fits slightly off for me. It fits, but it’s as if the apex of the cup is ever so slightly lower than the BM cut. It just fits me better. I’m definitely a BM girl. In fact, if I see any future SF prints, I’ll just ask if they can make a BM for me.

    • My only BM complaint is in my current size (80E) the straps are so wide set the light show on the armholes of many of my tank top dresses ☹️ So I can only wear them when I’m wearing sleeves. When I was wearing my 80DDs this was less of an issue. Maybe I should try 85DD and see if strap placement is better 🤨

    • confused I’ve given up on tank tops. I’ve switched to more of a “festival tank” style if I don’t want my straps showing. Other than that, I’ll let them hang out. I usually have on a grey or black tank. So the pop of color I don’t mind.

    • 1

This is such a beautiful design and looks great on you!

    • I have a wardrobe of gorgeous, flattering dresses from Anthropologie that I live in for work, about half of them are tank top cut. In the winter it’s not a problem, but summers are routinely 95+ degrees and I work with kiddos and can’t have undergarments showing per school dress codes. 🤦🏼‍♀️

    • 2

confused 1. boo for dress code! 2. something I used to do when I was in k-12 was safety pin parts of my bra to my shirt/dress. Don't know if that's something you're interested/would work for you, but it might present a solution.

    • It might! It’s really in the armpit/tail of Spence area where the dress scoops inward and the bra strap is wide set though, so maybe not...

    • 1

Want! I adore this print and the BM looks amazing on your shape (lucky!). I got my first SF's in 2 different sizes & love the shape. Gladys was soft and silky but small, & the Nibynic was the right size but the more thick/rigid material cut into my underarm (because wide EM straps, apparently). Would you say the Garden fabric runs to the softer, thinner end of the spectrum or more towards the thicker, more solid & rigid side of things?

    • 1

confused another option for the visible bra straps might be sewing small tabs with a snap closure to hold them in place. Like so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U56wr9t6bw . I feel you on the the underarm reveal, tho. If you've got some slack in that area or the bust, a good tailor might be able to tighten it. That's a hard one. Good luck!

    • 1

CAGirlGoingPolish I’d say it’s a little more ridged, with less give in the fabric than Nibynic, but I feel the fabric is still soft and silky and still feels lightweight. My SF Szaron has the thickest and stiffest fabric out of all my EM bras.

    • 1

Happy2BraShop Oh wow! Thank you so much. That's really useful information for me. So hard to tell what a fabric will feel like by just looking!

    • 1

CAGirlGoingPolish I know right!? I’m the type of person who likes to feel the clothing before I buy. Especially if I think it might be itchy lol. Thankful all the bras I’ve gotten from EM have been soft and comfortable. Sometimes a little stiff, but they always relax after a few wears. With Garden, I think due to the nature of the fabric it can show more ripples here n there in the fabric, but nothing that takes away from the over all fit and look of it. I have the matching panties, and they’re also really lovely in this fabric.

    • I'm glad to know they do soften up. Apart from being "blessed" with boobs that don't play well with most bras, I have the additional joy of having super sensitive skin. lol

    • 1

Happy2BraShop I had to come and check this out since you mentioned it in your last review and omg I love the garden as a BM!

I’m going to be honest here and say that I only purchased this bra as an experiment. Well...experiment isn’t *quite* the right word, but in essence, I purchased this because it was within my price range, and the measurements closely matched the 65F Mp Kleksik that lcl0706 had previously (graciously) sent to me to try (as I’d never had/tried EM until the Kleksik I tried) but it wasn’t really a style that I was actually interested in. It’s not something that I’d have seen on website and said, “what do I have to sell to get this?!” or know that I had to have. But, ... I really wanted to actually own an Ewa Michalak bra, and the price and measurements overruled my style preference as I mentioned. Let’s just say that I GOT THIS BRA FOR SCIENCE! Ha ha!

Before we go on with the review...my boobs: narrowish and tallish (but deflated and functionally short) roots, even to FOB, center full, soft and malleable tissue, and pendulous. I need depth at the wire, but only average apex projection. Thanks, pudding boobs! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

Since I got it, I have to say...it’s grown on me quite a lot now, and I really love it! I felt odd, at first, that I was able to do it up without needing to use an extender right away, as I had had to do with the bras that I had received before it. It felt positively loose by comparison! I’m comfortable with it on the loosest hooks, but sometimes move it in one. As for the fit, as it’s a plunge, I have a little empty space near the straps which is super minor, and as I am center full, I do spill a little bit at the lower gore, moreso just before my period when I swell up more. Neither are a dealbreaker, considering the cleavage, errr...I mean the SHAPE that the bra gives me. Nice and uplifting, as well as rounded. And sexy.

Aesthetically, I have a few quibbles. First off, the ruffles at the edge of the cups show through some tops/clothes so I have to be mindful of what I wear over top. Second, the bow is comically huge. I’m fine with big bows. This one is ridiculous. It’s also somewhat ticklish and/or itchy. It’s ok if the shirt is snug enough to stop it from moving, but if it’s too loose, I tuck the tails under the gore. I’m toying with trimming the tails some. The other problem is that the bow really wants be vertical. It’s constantly flipping sideways. I’m constantly trying to straighten it. I’ve considered seeking an opinion from a seamstress if anything can be done without changing the look of the bra. Anyway, minor issues as I said. I’m happy to say though, that I have found a pair of underwear locally that is a really good match! So I’m really liking this set when I’m wearing the right kind of top. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

    Didn't fit

I saw this bra on Ewa Michalak's Facebook and immediately sent an email asking for it. I stupidly ordered it in a size too small, but other than that I love it so much! Since it's currently not available, I'm going to hold on to it despite being a smidge too small.

Pros: Gorgeous lace, big bows, firm band, removable cleavage straps, full adjustable regular straps.

Cons: Won't be 'nude' on everyone, too small (my fault), lace has loose threads all over.

I can see that it’s too small. But this bra is definitely a keeper!

    • 2

Oh my goodness, this is gorgeous!

    • 1

      This looks AH-mazing on you!!!

    • Sooooooo beautiful!

    • I love, love, love that set. It is soooo pretty. I cannot wait until it comes out.

    • Wow! That's beautiful on you !!! Cannot wait for its release!!

    • 1

Wow, this bra makes me want to retry the SM cut. If you feel like selling it I’ll take it lol

    • I love this it’s so pretty!

    • Beautiful!!! Makes me want to try the SM cut but I have a phobia of unlined bras... Mostly because I don't have the self confidence to wear them and feel awkward in them.

    • Omg! GORGEOUS! Does it come with the extra set of straps to adorn the chest?

    • 1

      This looks incredible!

    • 1

LeProfessor Yes, it comes with the straps in a convenient little pouch!

pumkinswife I love the SM! I would recommend starting with a BM or an SF cut first. The fabric is a little thing and hide nipples better.

This is one of my favorite bras that Ewa Michalak has recently released. I hope she continues to use more embroidery in the future!

    Hasn't set fit

Isnt this the prettiest thing? I dont think of myself as being in to gold ribbon type things, but i LOVE this bra.

The Rokoko was only ever really available in the HP style, but apparently Ewa also made a few Ss. I got this on her in-stock clearance, and it was labeled with a pattern number, not as Rokoko, but i figured it out.

This is my first time going up this high in a cup. I had outgrown my 32K and 34JJ Ss and PL, and hoped this would work. It is definitely a touch big. I fill the cup except ... for the last bit of the upper edge of the cup - and this was with the cookies in. I might add another cookie, at least on the smaller side, or see if the cotton lining shrinks a little after washing. As you can see, its not particularly obvious under clothing. Well, the bad fit, I mean. The pattern, yes lol

I swear I took 2 more pictures - from above and in more natural light - but I guess my phone was playing tricks on me.

I really wonder if this is a bit big because its a one-off, or if the jump up in cup is a large jump, or if I've lost a little weight. I already bought a NWOT 75K from someone in the states, so maybe I'll have more insight in a week.

Final answer is its SOOOO pretty that I will keep it and wear it as long as I can handle! Its nice to have some bras that are slightly big so I dont have to panic about outgrowing all my bras.

So lovely! Makes me think of Frozen, but is also really spring like.

    • Gorgeous!!

    • haha just noticed I had the size wrong - this is a 75KK, not K

    • no, whats wrong with me. i mean 70 not 75. the band, btw, is very firm but not needing an extender

    • 1

The Elsa bra!!! I’ve always loved this bra <3

    • Its funny, I never actually saw that movie, but I can see it now that you all mention it. I completely loved it before, too, but it wasnt made in my size - except apparently, one was

    • 1

Wow that bra is so gorgeous it’s unreal!!

    • Looks so lovely! Glad you love it and is nearly perfect fit.
The one I have for sale doesn't have th gold ribbon on straps :( that's shame as it looks way better with it! Also your one has such vivid colours like turquoise- is that the colour of the bra or is just the lighting ? Mine is icy/sky blue

    • huh, martka00 , thats interesting. I was at first thinking the other rokoko pics were just kinda faded - i mean, there's a sheer layer over the cups so its easy for the light to be odd - but the band and straps are really more turquoise than all the HP pics are.

Maybe I shouldnt have called it a Rokoko? its so close tho

    • the HP doesnt have the gold straps either. Its really a uniquely lovely bra lol. I swear it tempts me to NOT try to exercise more and eat less carbs lol

    • 3

I must say your version is prettier 😂 And I think it's still Rokoko! So no need rename it I guess 🙈
I understand the NOT loosing weight, I'm worrying about all my bras that they will become too large if I'll move my ass to the gym 🤦🏼‍♀️🙈

    • 1

lcl0706 totally the Elsa bra! It has a fairytale quality to it that I can't resist

    • 1

Huh. Finally looked up the word rokoko - its a design movement.

" Rococo artists and architects used a more jocular, florid, and graceful approach to the Baroque. Their style was ornate and used light colours, asymmetrical designs, curves, and gold"

    • 1

      perfect name then !

    • 1

Ewas names usually have a meaning. I have been trying to make more of an effort to look them up

    • Skidoo beautiful!

    • 3

      Skidoo? My kindle is possessed!
      *Soooo* beautiful!!!

    • LOL silly kindle

    • So put it on this morning after the first wash. Seemed still too big so I put a second cookie in. Then I messed w my hair and put on my deodorant, and then the bra looked like it was almost too small - it wasnt tacking! I took out some pads and it still was fitting snugly. then I reverse-swooped and suddenly its gapping in the center.

So the shape of this bra seems very different from my others - maybe its the scaling? Sort of awkward here!

    Fits

I don't ever want to wear another bra. I adore this Bm Szmaragd, it's comfortable, subtly sexy, understated, well-made, accomodating to asymmetry and varying fullness throughout one's cycle. It's so reliable and kind I half expected it to ask me how my day was when I took it off last night.
I want every single one now! I'm honestly still a bit in shock - it's hard to believe the comfort of wires that are narrow enough, a band that supports without being tight, and a bra that feels attractive but isn't at all garish or risque.

I was lucky enough to ... acquire this bra (brand new with tags) in a sale from Anya99 , who was incredibly helpful and knowlegeable about her "inventory". I would never have suspected a 65GG would be the right size for me in any bra (though it does seem more and more like bra sizes are useful only to estimate the correct size within particular brands and even cuts. It's a depressing thing when you get one bra to fit and then realize you'll have to keep going through the process of trial and error with each new brand or style you try. This realization had made me even more aware of the importance of adding measurements, reviews and pictures here, particularly for new styles. I am so lucky to be able to benefit from the experience and experiments of this entire community). The Ewa Michalak website does say to size down in the Bm, and I'm certainly glad I didn't let my worries about the size deter me from trying this bra. For comparison, I will include that I found a Comexim plunge in 65M to fit, but Comexim 3HCs in 65M and 65N were both too small in the cups (probably due to lack of immediate projection). I purchased 2 CHPs in the same sale from Anya99: 60HH - Ewa Michalak » Chp Klaudyna (747) and 60HH - Ewa Michalak » Chp Owoce Leśne (573) , both of which also fit quite well. It's possible that the CHPs would be better in a 60J or 65HH, but I've lost 40 pounds this year and am working on losing another 25 or so, so it seems best to err on the side slightly too small than too big or eventual gaping. Plus, this is the largest size in a 65 band offered for the Bm style before a custom fee is required (and 60 bands are all custom), so it's a good size to stick with as long as it fits!

This bra is beautiful, comfortable and very suited to soft tissue, close set breasts and center heaviness. Plus it has immediate projection aplenty. The bottom of the gore is only 1.2" wide (see my picture of this detail) and this seems to help drastically as far as avoiding falling out of cups into the center. I think the shape is quite natural but still nicely rounded.

    • 1

Wow, that is gorgeous. Reminds me of how my BM Naomi fits me. Makes me think maybe I should try one of those!

    • also, grats on the weight loss. I've been steadily gaining, but heading in to menopause and eating my way through school right now. I dont think weight loss is in the cards in the near future.

    • 1

BM is also currently my favorite EM style; I currently own a 75F that is way too big in the band and also too small in the cups and it's still one of my favorite bras. Can't wait to get my Naomi!!

My usual EM size is more like 70/GG, though I think I could take a 65 and am sometimes tempted because the 70 is so comfy right out of the box... so that the equivalent of a 70FF works even as well as it does is impressive.

    • 5

Beautiful on you and great fit! Once you try EM it's hard not to want all their bras...every. single. one. :)

    • 1

I'm so thrilled that all 3 bras fit you so well!! And a giant, sincere thank you to both you and love4pollinators for the very kind words. You ladies are the best! ☺

"It's so reliable and kind I half expected it to ask me how my day was when I took it off last night. "

      LOL, chirality

    • 1

Congrats on finding bras that you love! EM is the best thing that ever happened to my boobs. The BM and SF cuts are my favorite for comfort and fit, but I like to rock the S and PL styles when I want super-cleavage, even though they aren't technically my best fit. I understand what you mean about wanting all the bras - I have 9 of them, with another on order...and this is just since April of this year. :-) Oops!

    • 2

Looks amazing, and I love the color. Glad it's so comfortable!

    • 1

Looks amazing, and I love the color. Glad it's so comfortable!

    • 2

LadyInBlue that makes me hopeful for my incoming Sf...!

    • 2

I have the beige and the black SFs and I'm waiting on that purple one. I love my SFs! The SF style gives me a little more "oomph" than the BM style, but they are both equally comfortable, IMO. The seams seam to be a tad more prominent, but I really don't care - with my 32GGs, I think everyone has figured out that I'm probably wearing a bra. LOL

    • 1

chirality, thanks for your lower gore measurement!!! That dimension is critical for me, too. I'll follow your lead and post photos of lower gore measurements, too :-) :-)

    • 1

Love4Pollinators I'm trying to do this too, FYI.

    • rainbrasspetals and @chiarilty Some of my bras have 1" differences in lower gore width when I stretch the band. Whoa. So, now I'm trying to stretch the band while I measure.

    • 1

It seems like it would be best to do it while wearing the bra for most accurate measurement :|a

    • 1

Love4Pollinators rainbrasspetals Yay! I'm so excited you're going to try to measure your lower gores too!
I never even thought about stretch though! I'm sure this has a big impact but I'm not sure what the best way to incorporate that into the measurement would be. I think it might be kind of hard to take the measurement, and definitely hard to photograph it, while wearing - but I'll give it a shot myself and try to add pics of the wearing bra gore measurements as I wear my bras for comparison.

However, I wonder if the stretch ratio figure, since it's based on the stretched and unstretched band measurements could be used to estimate the degree of stretch for the gore? It would be helpful if that winds up being useful because if we do the measurement while wearing the bra I think there will be some variation due to how tight we like our bands and such, which could be more confusing... as well as difficulty with measuring in the exact same place, since the landmarks to measure from would be hidden against the skin. So I'll also have a look at the stretch ratio when I compare the wearing and bra only measurements for the lower gore.

    • 1

I'll measure unstretched and stretched as well as multiply the unstretched by the stretch ratio and plan to see the stretched lower gore width :-) Math is beautiful :-)

    • oho, clever.

    70GG

    Didn't fit

When I was in Kraków, Poland for work recently, I wanted to visit a store where I could try on some Polish bras 'in the flesh'. Didn't have much spare time so I could only visit 1 shop for max. 1 hour.. Some googling led me to *Brafitteria*.

I was somewhat disappointed when it turned out they mostly sold regular / UK brands like Freya, Gossard, Cleo and Panache.. No Avocado or other Polish brands. But luckily they did also have a small collection of Ewa Michalak! My experience with EM so far was limited to the two bras I already owned (70H - Ewa Michalak » ... S Turkusowe Kwiaty (703) and 70GG - Ewa Michalak » Pl Kicia Szałowa and I had never tried any unlined EM bras.

I was especially excited to try Czarna Mgielka, as I've coveted that bra for years but was never sure which size to order.. and semi-cautious because I'd read about scratchy fabric / tight band, high wings and possible stabby gore; making me want to try it on first. The Brafitteria store had Czarna in 70H (too big) and 70G (too small). So a classic Goldilocks moment 💁🏼 but very useful to determine my size and confirming that the rest of the issues I could deal with. So YES I still want Czarna and I'll probably order it soon in 70GG!

Anyway, back to (edit: not Ty Wiesz but) Ja Wiem..: I had _not_ expected to fall for this bra. I'd seen it around on EM's website but I dismissed it as too boudoir (and too expensive to justify buying just for occasional wear) - and I didn't like the rhinestones. But at the Brafitteria store it was one of few bras in my size, so I did try it on and... WOW, epic uplift! This bra felt great, almost like it was made to measure. No straps chafing my armpits (hallelujah!), no wrinkling, comfy band, wires pretty much perfectly matched my IMF.. And I actually really liked the design. Very pale powder pink with contrasting black seam finishing, like a ballerina gone bad girl 😉

So, because I had allowed myself to get one bra as a souvenir from Poland, I bought the set!

I've worn it frequently over the past few weeks, with good results. This bra is really well-constructed and very comfortable. The 70 band fits snugly on the second (out of 4) set of eyes. Same as my other EM's in a 70 back, that I've been wearing on the 2nd hook from the start and progressed to the 3rd hooks on thinner days or between washings. Fine by me and as I've found Ewa's bands to be pretty stretchy-but-sturdy, I wouldn't go for a 65.

So in this bra's shoulder/armpit area, I don't know what magic they used but the straps do not bother my armpits - at all. On my first EM (Kwiaty, S style) the straps were wayyy too wide set and I've altered them since. On Kicia, my second (PL style) it was better, but on this SM the strap placement is awesome. Hoping Ewa will apply this to more future bras! Also, the wires are nice and low under my armpits! Chafing straps and poking wires often bother me, but this really is a happy-armpit-bra 🙂 Yay!

However this bra is probably 95% but not 100% perfect, some small issues considering projection / size:
The wires are quite narrow (feels like a smidge too narrow, perhaps?). After wearing, the wire marks on the side do align well with my breast root / IMF but under my boobs, the marks are a bit too low. This is often an issue for me (and usually much worse), with buckling / folds & 'orange in a glass' in bras with insufficient projection. In this bra, the projection angle is a bit weird actually. It doesn't project forward (like a 90' angle) but more upward (like a 50' angle), if that makes sense? I believe this is also what makes the wire slide down a bit. I'd almost consider a 70H for projection - and because on my bigger side, there's some in-cup quadding next to the black seams, where the powder pink fabric has more 'give' than the seam. But the cups in this size are already quite tall on me (the straps will definitely show under anything other than high-necked shirts) and the 70H Czarna was definitely big, confirming that 70GG is probably the best size for me in unlined Ewa's.

Oh and I also bought the matching strappy briefs, which look amazing on (with many laces & straps, great design!) and fit very well in size 40. So far I've experienced Ewa's briefs and thongs to run pretty generous, as in other brands like C'Kate, Gossard etc. I normally wear 14 (42) and sometimes even upsize to 16 (44).

So all in all, some nitpicking issues aside, Ja Wiem is great and I'm very happy with this unexpected purchase from Poland!

P.S: Sadly the rhinestone adornments cannot be easily removed like I'd hoped, as they are actually part of the sliders to adjust the upper straps. Guess I'll have to get used to them or attach new sliders. Removing the straps is also an option but IMO this would make the bra less special?

Thank you for the comprehensive review. I'm impressed with the lift you're getting, too.

    • Great review. How do you feel about those doubled straps in the back??

    • 3

I suspect that doubled, harness-y type detail of the straps at the back is actually what is preventing the bra straps from bothering your armpit. It probably results in the straps sitting on your shoulders in a more comfortable position as they are angled more toward the center of your back.

    • I believe the SM runs super shallow like that in order to lift the breasts higher - some people get amazing uplift in it, esp for FOT firm types, iir

    • 1

Looks beautiful on you! This particular bra never appealed to me either, until I saw your review and pics. I especially love the back strap detail - it really does look like it makes a big difference in comfort. The more even division of tension along the back of the band is so simple and brilliant if it directs straps and pressure to more comfortable positions. I wish she made it an option on all her bras now!

    • 1

wendybien , Stinkmouse & chirality , you're probably right I hadn't even realized! How the back straps are probably making a difference in the way the tension is distributed. So yes I really like the look and feel of this doubled back strap 😊

    • 1

And oops, browsing EM's site to see if there's more of this double back strap glory bras: I just realized this is Ja Wiem, not Ty Wiesz.. The black&white picture on Ewa's site confused me 😬 Edited review with the right bra name!

    • LOL thats so funny - my first notification of update on this bra took me to the old one and the second notification came here
